sorry for kiriban winner, you will be featured soon, I did not forget you I just write some sad journals and my mood is far from nice, so this is not the best time for kiriban.
By the way, there is a new one: send me a printscreen of 1 022 222 pageviews and you will win a feature (no feature for porn or animal cruelty, ok).
Well, I have news about wolves, as I have promised to keep you informed.
If you do not know what I speak about, check this journal, please!
Two ZOO Brno's employees answered my question about wolves and one of them was a zoologist, so I think we can consider that reply trustworthy.
So: as you probably already know, my beloved Atila, famous alpha wolf from ZOO Brno, died. He died of old age (10 years). His death is the cause of the current bad state of other wolves. The death of the alpha is followed with a lot of stress, as the hierarchy of the pack is completely crushed and in terrible mess.
The ZOO repeatedly applied te

To make it perfectly clear:
NO, i am NOT Culpeo Wolf, the person who was seen on Dr. Phil lately. I don't like wolves, i'm not a furry, i am not American.
But I am:
Culpeo Fox. The one who pretty much brought the word „Culpeo“ to the world wide web (aside from Wikipedia, that is) since most people had no idea this was an actual fox species back then, prompting dozens to actually ask me whether this word/name was made up by myself.
All these others: Culpeo Wolf, Culpeo Rat, TheDarkCulpeo, CulpeoFox1, CulpeoFoxElizabeth and whatever else their names are came after me. I would lie if said that it doesn't irk me in a way. No, i didn't patent the word „Culpeo“, for it is an actual species of fox, as mentioned above and people will choose their names how they feel. And yet...whenever i see another „Culpe

This is very heart warming to see other artists inspired by my works. The greatest compliment is to see someone else mimic you and that certainly holds true. If I missed any one's piece inspired by me, just leave a link to it in the comments and I'll throw it up here. Check these out.

Do's and Dont's of writing good FanfictionAlright, its confession time.Do's and Dont's of writing good Fanfiction7 years ago in Art Features More Like This
From the age of eleven to thirteen, I read and wrote Harry Potter Fanfiction.
I know, it's a shock, but remember that I was at that age! The writing was crappy; the reasons for writing base (all my friends will testify that Fanfiction gave birth to my severe crush on Sirius Black, which ended up with me writing a fic simply so I could include myself and my friends during the Marauder's schooldays . Yeah I know, Mary-Sues are not pretty) and the general storyline lacking in focus.
Well, maybe it was the stress of the past few weeks, maybe it was the fact that now the original Potter series is over that's to blame, but for whatever reason a few days ago I ventured back to my old haunt Fanfiction.net, found a random HP Fanfiction to read and see if the caliber were as bad as I remember. Folks, I was not disappointed.
As I read through chapter after chapter of story after story, I saw a trend emerging. I feel that now that I have the benefit of hind
Baby polar foxes were born! + old PHOTOS of kitsHi!Baby polar foxes were born! + old PHOTOS of kits2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I just read the info, that baby polar foxes were born in local ZOO!
They are probably still too young to leave the burrow, but I might visit them soon to try to take some photos
Maybe it will kick me to buy a new year ticket - I have not visited the ZOO since my year ticket expired in March but yeah, I will buy it, I think. I definitely visit this ZOO more often than just six times a year
Some ooold photos of baby foxes (taken in 2009). Kits are so adorable
PHOTO BOOK IS HERE! + dA offers FREE SHIPPING!!!!!Hello!PHOTO BOOK IS HERE! + dA offers FREE SHIPPING!!!!!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
At first, DA offers free shipping right now, so in limited time, you have a chance to purchase some items without paying for shipping
I offer a lot of stuff and I hope you might find ideal Christmas present among my prints you are definitely invited to have a look at my prints: http://woxys.deviantart.com/prints/?utm_source=deviantart&utm_medium=userpage&utm_campaignrintstab
And... I ordered 15 photo books and they finally arrived!
I must say I am amazed with the quality - those are 48 pages! So many animal photos (more than 120 photos of animals!) printed on photopaper by professional company. Normal price is 52 USD without shipping. My price is MUCH lower!
So there is profi photobook, printed on photopaper, very high quality - it is a MIXTURE of many animal species, but mostly you can find WOLVES, FOXES and BIG CATS. There are also some birds, reptiles and fish
And MY price is only 25 USD, which includes economy international shipping!

Inspiring GamesI’ve been asked to list which video/computer games I like. I actually compiled a list a while back, with the intention of writing something slightly lengthier than a journal update.Inspiring Games2 months ago in Personal More Like This
The list is not so much what I think are good games – games age and some of them now play like a dog – but they are titles that most inspired me. They either introduced me to new concepts or changed how I saw things.
I won’t go into detail on why each was important to me (that’ll take too long to write!) but if you’re familiar with both my work and these titles, you’ll probably spot where I picked up certain things from.
(Listed in the order of which I first played them)
Cops and Robbers (C64)
The Last Ninja (C64)
Spy vs Spy 2 (C64)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Megadrive)
Sim City (Mac)
Prince of Persia (Mac)
Diggers (Amiga CD32)
Monkey Island 2 (Mac)
TIE Fighter (PC)
Alone in the Dark (PC)
Ultima Underworld (PC)
SlendermaidsI only really click on the thumbnails that appear on DA’s front page if they look good. I think most people do. A couple of days ago, there was a fabulous pencil-rendered image that caught my eye. I clicked on it, looked at it, admired the work, added the artist to my watch list and then noticed the minor anatomical flaw.Slendermaids2 months ago in Personal More Like This
It was a simple error, one probably born from a mix of the figure’s position on the page and the artist being so eager to start working the image up that they began before double-checking their construction lines (if they use them at all).
My mind, working in the way it does, saw a funny cartoon in it, and, me being me, I drew it, posted it and fully accept the consequences of it and the reaction of the audience, good or bad.
A little while later, another idea popped into my head. This one inspired purely by the concept of long-armed mermaids and the cartoon I had drawn, not the minor flaw in another artist’s quality work.
(This is how inspiration wo
Expiration DateI love the Team Fortress 2 short movies. They're like little Pixar films......just with violence, blood, dismemberment and a general disregard for health, safety and human life.Expiration Date1 month ago in Personal More Like This
Usually they're quite brief, but the latest to surface is a whole 15 minutes. Positively feature-length!
It's making me want to revisit those TF2 "auxiliary units" I designed a couple of years back.
Japanese Guardian Dog -Komainu-It's left undone for a long time to submitting my journal. I don't have interesting news, something exciting and so on around me recently.Japanese Guardian Dog -Komainu-1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Therefore I will sometimes submit journals which introduce Japanese culture, tradition, history, fashion and daily life, though I'm lazy and uncertain weather.
Part 1... "Komainu".
Komainu [狛犬] are always sitting at the gate of (or at the street side of) Jinja [神社] (Shinto shrine in Japan). They are guardians of Jinja. They are just gatekeepers of Jinja. Their figure is almost like dogs which muzzles are short. Their figure and expression are very strict, but a bit cute, I think.
Koimainu are originally Chinese Lion statues. They came from China to Japan with Buddhism thousand and several hundred years ago. Lions in China originally came from India, beyond mountains of Himalaya, through desert of central Asia, and via Silk Road. In addition to it, lions of Thailand and Cambodia also originate lion statues of Ind

"Explicit Pornography"?! Aw, jeez, guys. You must have the worst collection of porn on the planet to think that was explicit.
A 90s Rochelle Swanson outing was more explicit that that pic, and that stuff got aired, uncut, on terrestrial UK TV (god bless you Channel 5, you made the young Jack jolly).
I believe that, for something to be labelled "explicit", SOMETHING must be visibly going in SOMEWHERE. Such was not the case in the offending image,

Yes, we're back on the gun-debate-thing. And this time the pro-gun crowd are pissing me off because they've set in motion a chain of events that will stifle the potentially fabulous ability to transfer what you create on your computer into the real world.
The man behind it harps on about liberty being his motivation for doing it.
Liberty has to be tempered with responsibility, otherwise you just have anarchy. Using new technology to build a gun doesn't make you a champion for freedom, it makes you an attention seeking moron who gives the powers-that-be REASON to restrict it. They will now do everything the can to prevent the proliferation of the technology. They

Ok we're back, sorta. School is a terrible environment for art. And I have a lot of people who can vouch for that XD Anyway, the point is, I won't be working on it at 10 a day. Not for now, anyway. What is going to happen instead, is, I'll be drawing the remaining Pokemon first, then :IconAldenlite: will vector them. After that I'll color them all at one go, and you guys will see the complete collection. About time, I know. It's coming to the end of a school term, after which I have a week to rush up my homework, and of course, the project. Hopefully I can get it up by then.
Anyway due to the new sequence of actions, we'll actually need 3 progress bars to handle this.

In case you didn't know...I was really happy to see people discussing and helping each other understand SOPA and PIPA in the journal comments yesterday. I noticed some comments that asked the same things so here's some quick information:In case you didn't know...3 years ago in Personal More Like This
If you don't know what SOPA does, dA has actually provided a great journal explaining the bill and the consequences http://hq.deviantart.com/journal/Join-a-SOPA-and-PIPA-debate-280023798?utm_source=deviantart&utm_medium=header&utm_campaignebateSOPA_011712 and this website has a lot of information on how to protest against it http://americancensorship.org/ The fight is not over yet!
No, my journal and icon wasn't really censored. It's to show what would happen if the bill became law.
This one is a bit annoying. Quite a few people were saying "People, stop jumping on bandwagons to be cool!" Or "Why is everyone talking about it now instead of when it first came out? You only care because it's a trend now? I new about it way back in 2011." Um, excuse me, but please don't live in
FailureWell, this is awkward.Failure2 years ago in Personal More Like This
So, I guess my plan had some minor flaws. Namely that when you tie up deviantART staff with yarn and lock them in their office supply closet, they can use scissors and letter openers to break free. I even put a mirror on the inside of the door to confuse them! How did they know that was the way out? They're some smart humans.
They broke free, activated their laser pointers, and regained control of the servers and databases while we were dreadfully distracted. Now, everything is back to normal on deviantART. Worst of all, they said we "were very, very bad" and that they were "disappointed in us". That guilt is hard to live with, my friends.
We're back to drawing board now. No, we won't give up hope of total world domination. We're so close, I can feel it! Watch out, world! This isn't the last you'll see of FUR.
But world domination will have to wait until another day. Who's ready for a cat nap?

I'm not gonna refer to him as "Batman" when discussing that movie. He's Ben Affleck. It's Superman Vs Ben Affleck, now.
