Mending a Broken Rainbow- Chapter Eight
Rainbolt sat alone in her room at the Wonderbolt Stadium, as she had grown accustomed to over the last several days. She was there, at the very center of her dreams, so why... why had she spent the last several hours laying in her bed, with a photograph laid out before her. A photograph of a perky orange earth pony, showing off a pearly smile.
"Rainbolt?" the door to the star's room creaked loudly, allowing a bright stream of light to pierce the lair's darkness. "Rainbolt, can I come in?"
Spitfire didn't hesitate to push her way through the doorway, and flip on the closest light switch, forcing Rainbolt to cover her eyes as they adjusted. The dark yellow pegasus approached the bed cautiously.
"What's up with you lately?" Spitfire continued forward. "I've hardly seen you outside practice. Are you doing alright?"
"I... I don't know," Rainbolt, eyes adjusted, pulled back her hooves to reveal a set of teary eyes. "I'm confused."

Sunlight had started to pierce through the windows of the library, slowly banishing away the darkness which had gripped it for the past few hours. Twilight sat at her table, flipping close the last page of the red book which sat in front of her. Her mane and tail were both unkempt and had quite a few strands sticking out, signifying how long she had stayed up.
Her library was once again in a complete mess. Papers, books and every single kind of material she could get her hooves on lay scattered across the wooden floor of her living room. Empty cups of cocoa were stacked to her left while a wax stump of what used to be a candle sat to her right, having burnt out hours ago.
"That's it. That's the last book," Twilight grumbled before slamming her face onto the book in front of her. "None of my books hold the answer to the two riddles," she said in a frustrated tone.
"Of all the weeks Spike had to be in Canterlot, why did it have to be this week?" Twilight continued to complain before slow

#110) What would you say are the biggest misconceptions society at large has about the MLP fan community? Also, what would you say are the worst assumptions society has made about MLP fans that, unfortunately, are generally true?
Answer: I'm not sure how aware of the MLP fandom society at large is, and so I'd first point out that the majority of people do not, and will not ever, have any knowledge of the bronies. Those who do know of them, though, seem to have different perceptions, most of which appear to be negative. Having spoken to a few members of the public about "Friendship is Magic", a common misconception seems to be that the people who make up the brony fandom are either paedophiles or homosexuals (sadly, being gay is still treated as a bad thing by many).
Liking something designed for kids obviously raises assumptions, but it's doubtful that many bronies are paedophiles, and neither would I argue that bronies are more likely to be paedophiles simply because of

Snowed In- Chapter Four
The police station was eerily quiet, though one would suspect that at three in the morning it would be so. The lobby was large, and resembled a clinic more then a place of law. The buzzing, fluorescent tube lights that stretched from one end of the room to the other. The snow white walls, and tiled floor. However, one would not suspect the station's lobby to be filled with some dozens of people, impatiently waiting for so much as one comment on the current situation. The issue at large, of course, was the avalanche blocking the one and only pass into the mountains where family and friends were stranded, lost in the freak blizzard.
"I-I hope they are alright..." Fluttershy spoke in a worried whisper, eyes fixed upon her clasped hands in her lap. "That storm is getting worse by the minute."
Twilight, Pinkie Pie and Rarity took in the words of their worried friend, grim expressions conquering their faces. What if the radio reports had been right, and the blizzard w

#82) How long do you think "Friendship is Magic" will last for? What is a good amount of seasons? Honestly, I want it to go on until at least Season 8.
Answer: Season 8 is a stretch. This is really a two-part question. The first part is about how long I realistically think that the show will last, based on speculation and circumstantial evidence. The second is about how long I personally believe the show should last, which is a different matter altogether.
To engage with the first part, we know that the show at least has in front of it another 13 episodes. After that, more might be made, or the show may maintain its success based on repeats. I can't predict when the show will end exactly, but it's pretty much a given that when Hasbro update the toy-line again, the show will be replaced. It's impossible to talk about "Friendship is Magic" without discussing it directly in parallel to the toys, as they both run off of each other and help to sustain one another. There

I shivered as a cold gust of wind swept over me, pulling me out of my slumber. I blinked my eyes a few times and let out a quiet yawn. I was still tired but, I was really comfortable. Fluttershy and I were still cuddled up with each other, but she was still sleeping. I wiped my eyes with my free hoof and took a look over to Fluttershy to make sure she was alright.
Fluttershy seemed fine. She felt a little cold but, she was fine. I must've shielded her from the wind from the night. Thank, Celestia for that. I would hate for Fluttershy to get sick and not only because of that, but because it would make the trip back home more a pain as its already going to be. My leg was still feeling soar and so was the rest of my body. That tree really took its toll on me, and Fluttershy too.
My chin was still buried inside her mane, my foreleg st

3 Weeks Party - Part 7Celestia lay in front of her writing desk, her angelic mane rested still flowing on the bedrooms carpet. The Princess gave a soft sigh as she gazed back to the desk, there were several parchments along the rim containing half finished orders to several of her subjects. Among the orders lay a single, blank scroll with a quill resting at its base. Celestia gave another small sigh, she wondered if it was maybe her hundredth of the hour. She knew all to well the reason for her distress. 'Twilight Sparkle, who is it you love?' Celestia kept loosing herself to her thoughts and worries. She loved and cared for Twilight like a sister, at first she feared it was the same as with her real sister, Princess Luna. But as their time passed together she could feel no desire for the young unicorn. Though this relieved her worries, it still upset her until the conclusion of the Summer Sun Nightmare event.3 Weeks Party - Part 74 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Luna's Best Night Ever: 6Luna felt confident. The thousand niggling doubts that had clouded her mind evaporated with a smile and a chuckle. She felt like she could do anything, especially after what she had just said to Twilight. She looked up at the sky for a moment and realized that all she had done was admit to liking her, nothing more. Her victorious attitude deflated slightly as she imagined Twilight waving aside what she had said as little more than an acknowledgement of friendship. She made a silent vow to properly express herself when the next ideal moment came along.Luna's Best Night Ever: 64 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Vendors were packing away their goods and closing shop for the day and everypony was making the slow, lazy trip home from wherever their day had taken them. The setting sun turned their shadows into tall, majestic creatures that roamed the streets with elongated strides that carried them a few graceful inches before halting. Luna was too busy admiring them to notice the ponies

“Ma’am, you can’t smoke here.”
She heard the voice, but she willed it away, taking another drag of her Equestrian Spirit cigarette.
“Ma’am…” the voice began again, but was cut off as the blue unicorn let out an exasperated sigh.
“The Great and Powerful Trixie HEARD you.”
“Well, I…” the tan waitress stammered.
“Yes, you.” Trixie turned to face her tormenter, adjusting her thick frames with her hoof as the cigarette dangled from her muzzle. “You have deemed it your responsibility to police the entire outdoors, just because your employers have adopted it as part of their overpriced establishment.” She gestured to the other tables in front of the coffee shop, where other ponies huddled, doing their best to stay out of the conflict.
The waitress, clearly uncomfortable with the direction the conversation was taking, tried to deflect.
3 Days Regret - Part 1Twilight Sparkle was woken by the light from Celestia's midday sun shining through the window, the intense light barraged her closed eyes stirring her from her sleep. The lavender pony was comfortable unlike most mornings, her back wasn't in pain as it was after nights spent on the floor of the library, but in fact felt massaged and soothed. Twilight enjoyed the feeling as she readied herself to sleep in, though it wasn't long until a new beam of light distressed her eyes again forcing her to wake. As her eyes opened the blazing light caused her to flinch, as her gaze began to come into focus the light resided behind a figure looming over her. Only a second passed before her eyes focused enough to make out the figure before her sight, a beautiful white mare sat by her side shielding her from the window's light. "Good morning Twilight Sparkle." Rarity said sweetly, brushing her hoof over Twilight's mane. "I was close to needing to say good afternoon." The carnival only happened in Ponyville once a year. When the carnie-ponies finally came around to this part of Equestria, and took over the field next to the local elementary school. They toured the nation, bringing entertainment to the masses, and ripping off plenty of ponies along the way. At least, that's what was going through Spike's mind as both he and his date walked through the games area.
Twilight warned Spike long ago to watch out for this kind of thing. However, he couldn't help but notice that in spite of the fact that most of them were losing, everypony was having fun.
"OO!" Sweetie Belle said, grabbing Spike's arm. "Let's play a game!"
"Uh," Spike said hesitantly. "I don't know Sweetie Belle, I'm pretty sure they're all rigged."
"They're impossible to win."
Just then, not far from the young couple, one stallion screamed, "YEAHHHH!!" as a carnie gave him a giant stuffed raccoon.
They both saw this, a

In the reserved suite in the Hotel Sea Biscuit the masses moved towards implementing the next act of the gag. It was a massive operation, and in a fluid motion the dozens of ponies, reptiles, animals, and sole (if adept) dragon moved about in secretly practiced proficiency.
"Spike, dear," said Rarity, "I've just finished up with the next principal actor, so if you have a minute you and I should soon begin "
"Oh, of course," he said, his expression calming from the militant one of his role in the gag into his usual love struck persona. In his clawed hand he held a small token, one that would add an air of authenticity to his role.
Watching from before the canvas Twilight rolled her eyes. If Rarity asked if she could pour jellyfish venom into his eyes Spike would probably agree, as long as she batted her lashes at him.

Twilight shot awake when she felt a hoof on her shoulder. Panting heavily from fear, she looked over to see Trixie looking back at her in concern. There comes a time in every young dragon's life, when thoughts turn to love. Within dragon society this time is full of celebration and joy, as they find their first mate and, in some cases, settle down for a lifetime of happiness. Conflict in this department, while common, is quickly quashed among them, as one of the core tenants of dragon society is to save your strength for the real fights. Time and energy is too precious to waste on lover's quarrels. Rules clearly set out how to resolve romantic disputes. Unfortunately, for one dragon, these rules are an unknown, a complete mystery. Which is a real pity for him, because this week, if anyone would need those rules, it's him.
The sun was just beginning to set in Ponyville, as a young purple dragon named Spike was getting ready for a major event in his life: His first date. He applied a bit of cologne he got the day before, not too much, he didn't want to sme

In the Ponyville Library, a pile of books sat in the middle of the main reading room. A purple claw grabbed three books and began shuffling though them.
Organising a library was hard work, one had to memorize the Pony Decimal System, and ensure that every book was filed under the right number. If one book was out-of-place, it would mean that book would be lost forever....until somepony noticed and moved it to the right section.
With three different books in hand Spike climbed the ladder that was leaning against one of the shelves, so he could put the books exactly where they needed to go.
As he got to the top, he heard a knock at the front door. It was too much of a hassle to get down just to open the door. So he just yelled. "It's open!"
A pink glow encompassed the door as young Sweetie Belle entered, closing the door behind her.
Spike looked down, "Oh, hey Sweetie Belle?" he said, as he went back to his filing.
Luna's Best Night Ever 9Sleep always felt strange to Luna. It was like willingly entering a void, shutting out the world and entering a place where only she existed. Other ponies dreamed when night came, but often Luna felt like the hours she spent awake were the dream and the time she spent asleep was the cold reality, crushing loneliness mixed with a pleasant sense of calm and ease. It was a sensation she had grown used to during her imprisonment, albeit not by choice.Luna's Best Night Ever 94 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
She opened her eyes lazily and yawned, hoof reflexively covering her mouth to politely conceal the action. One by one her senses sharpened and her connection to the waking world returned. The stars had progressed of their own volition and she took a deep breath, tracing their paths to work out how far along they were. Her eyes widened at the realization that hours, not just one or two, had passed since she had begun her nap. She hopped off of the couch and ran to the window. But Why Balloons?Luna's moon was concealed by a thick canopy of clouds, the streets of Ponyville were silent and dark. The only light to illuminate the visible town came from the window of Ponyville's library, as a small orange foal gazed out from the glass with a sigh. It was evident to her that Rainbow Dash had once again not cared for her job, but it only made the filly admire her more. The pegasus rose to her hooves as she smiled at her idols laziness. Luna's Question About Love 4Derpy Hooves didn't even bother to fold back her wings as she landed in front of Dr. Whooves' humble abode. His home did not particularly stand out from any of the other houses in Ponyville, except for the fact that his front door was adorned with the image of a large grandfather clock. A sign dangling from the roof revealed that it was not only a home but also a store meant for selling clocks, as well repairing them. Earth ponies are the most numerous, making up approximately forty percent of Equestria's population. Their magic is inherent, unobvious and somewhat passive, expressing itself through a connection with the earth itself. It is no coincidence that most farmers and ponies dealing with animals and plantlife are earth ponies; my dear friend Fluttershy is quite exceptional in this regard. Most Earth ponies live some seve

Applejack tried her best to keep face as she trotted slowly through the bleak darkness of the Everfree forest. Applejack hated to admit it, but this place scared her. It was just really creepy.
