If anyone is interested in trying their own colors on this monster, have at it. I included the flats from my color job (in gray); you all probably hate flatting as much as me, so no reason to repeat that task. I don't have too many rules about coloring; just remember that these characters all belong to their respective copyright holders, so respect that, and keep this in the realm of non-commercial fan art. Feel free to make changes to the lines as your creativity dictates, its more fun that way. Credit is nice, and I also love a note or comment if you do color it; I really enjoy seeing the different color ideas people come up with. Otherwise, enjoy!

Experimenting with makeup, trying to get sort of a 1940's-1950's Hollywood thing going on. And because I can't leave well enough alone, you get nine Film-Noir inspired poses.

...At least until or do a better job ^^;. Enjoy!

STOCK IMAGES: For use on deviantArt only. Please let me know if you use them, and if you want to use them for anything outside dA. Thanks!

Step 6. Colour Holds Detail

To soften up the face and some other areas, I knockout the black lineart, and add colour instead (on a seperate layer so I can go back if I make a mistake). You''ll probably notice I went out of the lines around the ears; that didn't really matter in this instance because, I was going to put a seperate colour hold layer for the hair on top, and flatten the image before printing, so you wouldn't really see it anyway.

Step 7. Hair Detail

I put the Hair colour holds on a seperate layer, so I could work on them by themselves without having to keep reselecting all the lines in the hair. I could have alternatively saved the selection of the hair and left it on the same layer as the other holds, but I preferred having it on a seperate layer. You can see how much the holds on the hair change the piece. It really started coming together for me once the holds were visible, since that is what had been sitting in my head since the pencil stage, and I had to keep telling myself along the way that this is what the final result would looke like.

I have comments enabled on these images but can not respond to all comments; I hope you understand - I get too many messages to handle already. I am typically about two weeks behind in checking notes.
