My new papercraft LEGO Black Knight minifig has more parts than any of the others I made so far, and each one is made from several parts again! ;o)

The most difficult pieces are the "grooves" in the dragon plumes on the helmet, so make sure you score, fold and pre-shape them properly before glueing them together to make things much easier! ;o)

Sure, it's still missing some important parts (a.k.a. the wings...) but so far, my hand drawn papercraft TIE-fighter is coming along very nicely! ;o)

Dutch people may know Ridder Graniet from the kid's theme park "Het Land van Ooit", which sadly went out of business in 2007... :o(

If you still remember those old video storage devices, you can work out the size of my new papercraft Star Wars TIE-fighter! ;o)

Although I'm a big sci-fi fan, this is actually the first Star Wars papercraft model I made myself!

I drew all the parts by hand, and coloured it using aquarel, which makes it look really nice I think. ;o)

I also made an interior for the command pod, and although most of it really just stems from my imagination, I really like the way it turned out. ;o)

The wings can be removed for easy storage, but you can also permanently glue them to the pylons if you want to of course.

As you can see, the interior I made for my papercraft Star Wars TIE-fighter is definately not an exact replica of the "real" thing, most of it just comes from my imagination.

I like the way it turned it out though, and I'm already working on the outside of the command pod; hopefully I'll be able to show you that soon too!

Being made from paper, my new papercraft LEGO Black Knight minifig switched from being a dragonslayer to being a dragon whelp slayer...
