So I didn't like this one that much because without editing up the contrast too much, it didn't look so great. And now I think it looks too artificial. (yes says the one who just submitted a pinkish version of this, but screw logic)

What I never mentioned was that Ears (my little Micro Scout-based robot) had been recently cannibalized for parts to be used in other creations. After Ears had spent a week or so disassembled, I rediscovered the box of blue-colored LEGO bricks that had mysteriously vanished into the closet a while ago. Now armed with a greater number of useful parts, I decided to rebuild Ears with a more robust structure, loosely-modeled around the instructions for R2-D2 that came with the original set. I think it turned out pretty nicely.

A simple NXT 1.0 cat robot, built using a hodgepodge of different pieces from different sets. I don't think I've ever touched the NXT in years... I'll have to find new batteries for it and a way to program it using Linux (shouldn't be too hard). Note that the light sensor isn't hooked up; this is because I couldn't find the rest of the cables... T_T

Moved to scraps, because it has been upgraded to Tabby version 1.1.

Features:
  • Simple three-wheeled design. Okay for indoors, but probably useless on rugged terrain...
  • Ultrasound sensor for navigating forward without crashing.
  • A rear bumper with a touch sensor, intended for achieving nearly the same purpose in reverse.
  • Sound sensor is mounted similarly to an ear.
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike. I might try creating some instructions for how to build this.

Lego Walker

Just for fun, created in Lego digital designer, a free download from the Lego site and a SERIOUSLY cool program!!

Yes I know all the colors are kinda messed up, you have to use the parts that are available (yellow ankles, black slanted face), but I think overall a good representation.

You can check the price and order your creation from Lego after your done, mine is $62.95 if your wondering lol.

BTW the head, legs, and guns are all articulated for realistic fun!

For those that don't know, this is PotatOS from Portal 2.

This is still very much a WIP. The texture was, well frankly, a mess; had to re-map half of it and patch up seams like you wouldn't believe. It's orders of magnitude better in this shot, but I'm still working on that one big one down the back...

The actual mesh wasn't too bad; I did a bit of simplification, but I wanted to leave a lot of the detail in, so it's still going to be a fairly complex model.

I was rearranging my photos and found this. :) It was my Dialga (which was unceremoniously mangled after I got it back from my Art teacher) that I made during Art class out of paper! XD I added the red eyes with pen.

It seems to be lunging at some unseen foe! GO DIALGA!!! :w00t:

Ummm, I'll scrap this later. ^^

An old MOC made out of the Blizzard Blaster and Scorpion Orb Launcher. It was designed since I didn't have Exo-Force sets at the time.

x] I honestly like the lighting and poses I came up with here. This was taken back in 2004 with a 2 megapixel camera. haha.
