Life had been cruel towards her.
"If only I could see for a moment, to see the colors of this world, to see my family's faces, to see the mountains, the sea, the birds... Whatever I have only heard about until now, I wish I could see it too.... "
People say that sight is the faith. But for her this was not entirely true. She had lost her eyesight at the age of 5 years old. The memories of those that she had seen had faded so much, that she would hardly recognize even herself any more.
She could currently see using her other senses. Walking in the streets of her city was a piece of cake. She could smell the rain before it dropped, but she could not watch it fall. She could feel the sun on her face, but she could not see it rise or set.
She often hated herself, she hated what she was. People around her were saying that she was so beautiful and that all of her skills surpassed the skills of all normal people - she played the piano so nice and her voice was angelic. She was smart, f

Whenever I see a hot girl.. I KNOW IT.
Though it's tough to choose, guys can be such dicks...
But girls can be such a bitch...
I don't know what to do...
With all this confusing, maybe I should just touch and go...
Instead of all this fuss and slow...
If I was a galaxy, would you want to be the spaceship?
Somethings don't compute to me, will you fix it?
If I told you that I loved you and didn't really mean it...
How can you spot a faker from the beginning?
If you really love me, then you'll show it...
If you really love me, then you'll do it...
Not for your own sake, but to show me that you are a real man.
And if it is the case that I am just a wasted space...
Then let me go out of your life...
Sure I will miss you...
But all is over, said and done.
Now it's time to have some fun!

Ms. Trinket's Pie Emporium was a tiny five-table diner squashed between a convenience store and highway 93. It had a bright painted sign and screen doors no air-conditioning and its bathrooms were pit toilets in a row by the road. Behind it the Rocky Mountains rose from sloping green hills to jagged snowy peaks that brushed the sky. They were immense and other worldly, and as Hannah knew they were also dotted in flowers. Chiming Bells, violet Penstemons, nodding Beargrass and Glacier Lilies would all be clinging to the mammoth rocks, and they were also all either potted or growing wild in front of the Emporium. Hannah knelt beside the Penstemon her favorite of the four to get a better look. They were a member of the figwort family with five stamens and one that extended out like a tongue. Her biology professor had confused her by calling the plant by its nickname Beardtongue and she could see the reason now. They were so bright and

Looking upon her now spilling blood-
Someone hurt her a lot.
Took her innocence in the night.
The memories are flooding back,
This fight is never ending-
Her tears don't come often,
Yet never seem to stop.
Not wanting to live anymore-
She's the trash that can't be thrown out.
Mommy says she loves her,
Mommy says she understands.
Daddy says nothing,
For he's never even appeared.
There's a monster in her mind,
A scab in her soul-
They want to get out,
And be free.
This little girl-
She's screaming so loud.
Smiling at your face,
Eyes a light green you've never seen-
She seems so calm,
Loki - BaldurMy palace was carved into the glaciers in the far north, in approximately the location internet fanboys thought Superman would have hidden his Fortress of Solitude. It wasn't terribly impressive, just a vaguely organized collection of halls and rooms. Each hall went by the same formula columns and arched ceilings. Each room was a simple box with some window frames thrown in for variety. No windows. I was deep inside a glacier, after all.Loki - Baldur4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Architecture wasn't my strong point.
Some days I was tempted to bring a real architect in and tell them to design whatever they wished, that reality would bend to their will if I bid it. However, I couldn't bring myself to confess that I, a god, was incapable of anything more inspired than something that looked like it had been lifted straight out My First Generic Medieval Cathedral. Besides. It wasn't terribly creative, but I had fashioned it and there was a

So there was no one there to ask
What a person should choose
When their life lays on a path
So with tears upon her cheeks
She slowly traveled on
And then within a instant

You feel its warmth against your tongue as a healing sage

I kept calling out for help,
But nothing was helping it seems.
As the days passed by
I got sicker and sicker,
Finally my skin bled,
In an attempt to end the pain quicker;
My spine shaked,
And my heart ached;
Voices whispered in my head -
But no one listened to the words that I said!
So I wrote them down,
For everyone to read,
To fill up your minds,
And act as my seed.
To give you a taste,
Of my sickness and pain -
Then maybe you'll understand,
Just why I'm "insane."

In turning cowslips into rays of sun
And floating over blades of grass, unbent
And drawing four conclusions out of one?
No mercy hath the stone and wooden fence
All rimmed with perfect glass which holds the sound
Of freedom outside. Dominating sense
Will pin imagination to the ground.
Forbear. The time will come when wind and rain
Will wash away the mud and dust of youth.
To cling to hope which calls aloud again
Is to rely on dust to hasten truth.
I turn my days of sunlight scattered over
And know the truth comes soon to wisdom's lover.

Can we just close this issue? Put on the lid.
To be honest, I probably would benefit from a talk
A meditating session, a really long walk
But you couldn't provide the things I require
That's why I'm not answering the things you inquire
Because even if I answered you I'd turn into a liar
You're not the one to tell of a situation so dire
It's not that I absolutely despise you
In fact, my opinions would probably surprise you
You aren't like the others, and that's plain to see
But we really don't see eye to eye, you and me
Because there is no way you could ever conceive
The stories that I told you, you wouldn't believe
I really wish I had somebody in which to confide
Everything I've been hiding, all I've kept inside
But I don't want to pull anyone else onto the ride
And let my emotions wash over me like the rising tide
I've kept it hidden so long that I forgot it existed

CHAPTER 16: Loud Teenagers!
Lucas fell asleep soon after Charity left. And had the strangest dream. He wakes up panting and covered in sweat an hour before he normally woke up. He heads to the shower and lets the water wash over him, rinsing away his dream. Once he gets out, he starts making French toast for breakfast, serving some to his dad in bed with a smile. After eating and grabbing his things, he heads to school about a half an hour early.
Charity's alarm clock wakes her up, beeping at her like an angry driver on freeway traffic in the summer. She groans and almost punches her alarm clock to shut it off. She sits up and stares into space for a little while. After staring at the wall for five minutes she gets out of bed and takes a quick shower and blow-dries a little bit of her hair. Her hair straightens when she blow-dries it, but becomes a little wavy/curly around the ends if she leaves them alone. She takes a banana

Charity gets closer to him. "I said something that upset you didn't I?" she asks him. If she's the cause of hurting him, she wouldn't know how to react or how to take it. "Tell me what's wrong," she tries to say as calmly as possible, but the fact that she may have hurt him is killing her inside.
Lucas smiles warmly, though figuring the smile failed. They keep walking, he's thinking of a good reason as to why he's upset so he wouldn't hurt her feelings. He couldn't think of a good lie and he hates lying to her, so he asks her a question, what he's really thinking.
"What about you, do you have a boyfriend?" Lucas rubs the back of his head nervously. He knows what he wants to hear, he just hopes he would hear it.
She laughs. "Yeah right, like I had the free time to get a boyfriend all summer. Nope," she pauses with a giggle, "No boyfriend

CHAPTER 8: Goodnight!
"I'm just curious. You were wondering about the kiss and what it meant. I answered that I wasn't sure yet," she pauses and stares at him intensely.
Lucas smiles at her cute little blush, his heart flipping again. He takes a bit of the rice, smiling as he chews. Linda didn't disappoint. He looks at Charity and winks again. He stares at her curiously after her question. "Well, I hope it meant something to you. I do like you, so it was like showing you exactly how I like you." It's Lucas's turn to blush now, his face lighting up like a tomato. He eats more, his attention drawn to the food.
She bites her lip and swallows her food. "Well, it does mean something to me too. Right now, I'm not sure what I want." To her, he's stuck in between the friend zone and the possible boyfriend zone.
Lucas looks at Charity, his blush deepening. "I'm glad it means s
