"The Bible says "judge not," so only God can judge me." Does that line sound familiar? I'm willing to bet that it does to more than a few. Yes, Matthew 7:1, which states "Judge not that ye be not judged," seems to be one of, if not the favorite Biblical verse of believers and non-believers alike. It also tends to be one of the most quoted and if I were to be extremely direct and give the most likely reason why, it would be a very simple one. People use it as an excuse or a cover up for sin.
