This is a short animation test I made in my second year of uni, while I was with a scholarship in Manchester.

The Los Angeles devMEET in Echo Park on July 18, 2009 :) So much fun! Awesome peoples!!

roflz it says 2008 in the film but obviously it was 2009 HAHA! it was 3AM by the time i was done with this so forgive the super blondeness :XD: :slow: i feel silly

I took 9minutes of footage and I cut it down to 2.5 because a lot of it is duck-duck-goose and other stuff i don't think you'll be too interested in XD

:pointr::pointr: View Entire 9mins of Footage here :pointl: :pointl:

If you attended this devMEET, get over to #hq and click the "I attended" button for the LA stop :D

I suggest to watch in high-quality, only because this 'video' i took was taken on a little piece of crap digital photo camera that just so happens to also take vids :/ So the resolution is crap (but decent if you watch in high-res) and the sound is horrid (but if you listen with earphones you can hear some pretty damn funny stuff) but hey, it worked and that's all i ask o_o ...also the audio at the paddle skips but it's not like it matters...the smack is still there BWAHA

:below: piece o crap it was shot on::below:

Just what is this DeviantART thingy? This video attempts to answer that question.

Schokay, where to begin?

The poem is written by me, and read by me, and since English isn't my first language, all the errors in pronounciation are also mine. This was just an idea I wanted to try, and so ... I tried it.

The poem can be found in text here: [link]

What else? Oh yeah:

Nair belongs to Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (I think, Wikipedia said so anyway!).
Colgate belongs to the Colgate-Palmolive Company (again, thank you Wikipedia).
Duro SuperGlue belongs to ... well ... Duro, I'd suppose. :S
Mace belongs to Mace Security International (according to the very trustworthy Wikipedia, yet again) and the Safe Spray can used in this film belongs to me (got it from my mom), but originally came from Teknikmagasinet.
The Winchesters and Supernatural belongs to mr Kripke and the CW. *bows down*

I mean no harm when I mention a religious sect, aliens, evil neighbours, evil bosses, evil children, policemen, guys in prison, or speeding cars. Hopefully, no one will take offence. Since it's ... you know. Comedy.

And with that said ...

...

...

Hah. I knew that webcam would be good for something.

Hahaha It's a bit old and unfinished but I thought it'd be funny to post here.

Did this after finishing Kickball. Maybe 2 weeks?

Did a fun quick lip sync exercise. Hopefully I'll have time to come back at some point and clean him up. The sound clip is from Farscape.

This bastard took me two hours to load. :paranoid:
:film:
Anywho... Stop motion animation, 750+ frames. Finished for final project for Digital Media class. Lots of fun!

Had to change it from a vertical to a horizontal format because dAfilm doesn't allow vertical... damnit I don't know why. Maybe I just wasn't doing it right.

If you want to see the original, it is here. -> [link]

Enjoy! :D :D :D

Also, there is no sound.

Oh goodness, I got a DD!

My first, this is so exciting! Mostly because I do photography mainly, not film. Thank you very much to :iconelectrikpinkpirate: for the sweet comment and suggesting/featuring me. I appreciate all your comments and support and I'll try and get around to thank each and every one of you.

Keep doing what you do, guys. Art + everything else.

Okay, I'm really, really sorry for the bad animation. I wanted to get some basic movement on this guy to see how his skin shader looks as he moves. Practice composite work for uni.

I'm unfortunately not going to have time to revisit this guy again and fix anything up, but I welcome any critiques or advice I can get, as I shall apply them to my new projects.

Update: His name is now Sparky, at :iconcrystal-firefly: 's suggestion. Also look, cool art: crystal-firefly.deviantart.com…
