As you can see I have gone back to the basics of the journal skin. It is to show my great disappointing feelings here at DA recently.
My first heartache is this I have seen so very many artists on here flourish and come into their own, adapt their own styles, learn amazing techniques, keep on coming up with new and creative pieces, And so many of them go unnoticed, without acolytes and with a mild fan base.
Mean time I have seen people taken basic stock add a layer of texture or two over it and filter the hell out of it and it goes with the highest praise, where is the ethics in this? Claiming a piece is painted when it is clearly not. it is just extreme

After a long time I picked a few manipulations, which, in my opinion, deserves attention. Photomanipulations are not just about technique, but mainly about choosing good source photos and a comprehensive work of its mixing. Often I see a lot of great works that disappears in a flood of new one here on DA. Show them is to encourage the author to further improve, I think.

I wanted to provide my own interpretation of the sxc (Stock Exchange) Image Licence Agreement and what is required by sxc for us to use the stock images offered there.
While I am definitely not a lawyer, I have used, and helped to write, such agreements for the software company where I worked for over 10 years. I have communicated the rule and intent of such agreements to resellers, other staff, and end-user customers. I have rewritten such agreements so they are expressed in simple understandable English and I will attempt to analyse and explain the Image Licence Agreement as best I can by quoting it and adding my own comments in bold italics

I have found quite a few of my photomanips there as her "own". I recognized several art pieces from DA - and I have notified whomever I could. But you'd better go there and check out whether your artwork was stolen or not.
EDIT: What s/he does is, takes our pics, either cuts out the main motif and puts it in an other environment, or 'recreates' the picture with small changes (and in a ridiculously bad way too...)

Sorry for being a pain in the ass but I just got 4 notes from people saying that my new deviation isn't showing up on their watchlist... and I'm sure a lot more people aren't getting this on their watchlist! What else is new? We all know about the daily dA bugs and all the malfunctions!
I just released the first artwork from my brand new series "Alice in Shadowland". The first one is a twisted re-interpretation of the White Rabbit. You shouldn't follow the white rabbit... it will lead you to your death.... I'm already working on 4 other artworks from this series and I hope to release them as soon as possible.
Also, I'm creating a News Article, gathering all my top favorite digital art from 2012 so yes..... you will all be in this news article. Stay tuned for it

Finally back!
I have been away for awail. First I have felt very bad since before New Year because I have a bronchial virus.
My doctor says it may take several weeks before it disappears. But I feel much better now. I get a little tired sometimes and get a little headache. But it's better.
Then I've also had my computer at service. And it felt awful to be without a computer. No photoshop and no Deviantart visit. It was very boring.
But now I'm back, and I have lots to catch up on here. I've sat almost all day and commented and responded to comments, so now I only have about 4000 artwork to go through and 1100 comments haha
It will take some time though I also have commissions to take care of. AND I also want to find time to create my own artwork.
But I will try my very best!

As you all know, for the past months (well, almost a year now) I've been working on my first Art Book. Over the last couple of years I got several requests and questions about my Art Book and, this year I decided to take the leap for it.
I made market studies, I made some Polls over here, and now, the book is finally just about to come out.
Creating this book is being the most wonderful experience and it represents everything I am as an artist.
There will be both Hard Cover and Paper Back Cover versions but, for all the interested people: I advise the hard cover version for sure!
I want to thank you all for the constant support over the years and without you, none of this would be possible. You're a big part of the reason my dream came true.

I'm getting a little bit better every day. I'm still in my wheelchair but I'm able to stand up a few moments now. I'm on dA checking around more again too now so I guess you can say I'm back on track at least on dA. I might not be able to comment on every great artwork I see but I'll do my best to fav (and run if needed). I've been missing you all my dear dA friends and I want to thank you again for all the great and kind comments I got on this journal, I'm sure that all that positive energy you threw my way did help me already! I was working at a photography exhibit at a show, so my sisters made a surprise visit to get me out of work.
