Shipping Manifesto/Character Analysis- Jimmy Neutron and Cindy Vortex
Magnets- how do they work?
We'll start by analyzing each character individually and then their relationship as a whole, particularly contrasting it with Jimmy/Betty. (For the sake of argument, all non-canon pairings will be ignored). On that note, the Jimmy/Timmy Power Hours are /not /canon and will also be ignored.
Another note- an in-depth analysis of every single episode is beyond the scope of this piece and frankly, would be enough to drive a person mad. I assume you've seen the show. You're more than capable of filling in any blanks.

"Ok, you should not make teaching your career." She said.
"I know! They needed a quick sub today, I didn't have a class. So, quiet you." He said, erasing the chalk board.

"Apartment sweet apartment…" She mumbled to herself, words echoing off the walls. Her gaze fell upon the phone as she threw her keys into a bowl on the counter. She allowed her mind to wander as her eyes stayed fixed upon it. "It's been almost two years…" she realized, with surprise, "since I've talked to him…must be three or four since I've seen him."
She shook herself from her thought long enough to reach into the bag and pull out a pint of ice cream. Leaving the rest of the groceries to wait, she grabbed a spoon from the dishwasher and headed for the couch. "Mmm. Pecan ripple." She commented, distracting herself from the additional phone that now sat to her right. She thought of reaching for the remote, but didn't move for it.
Still, she couldn't let the idea go.
"What if.." she thought to herself, as the first spoonful of ice cream entered her mouth, "I just pick up the p

"(Cough! Cough!) Hang on." I reach for the (number 17, 000) tissue and blow. "Ew." I don't know why I have the particularly nasty habit of glancing inside the tissues I fill, but I do, and then I regret it. He rolls his eyes at me- he doesn't understand this habit of mine either. So I grin and hold it out to him.
An eyebrow goes up, reaching upward on his huge head. "Not...really. Why is it that you always do that to yourself?" He says, smile growing as he shakes his head.
I glance down at the pile of filled tissues laying around me. "Ah duno." I say, my stuffed nose blocking my ability to talk.
JC week, day 3 - FairytaleThe doors opened slowly. The creaking sound captivated everyone's attention, including the golden-haired princess' at the bottom of the crowd. There wasn't music anymore, just the hissing sound of everyone whispering about the new presence standing outside the castle, his silhouette still unknown for everybody. The princess stood up from her big silver chair to investigate what was the cause of the disturbance, and everyone took a step aside, building a fake path for her to pass through the big dance room.JC week, day 3 - Fairytale4 years ago in Romance More Like This
The silhouette became visible as the man walked it. Brown hair, blue eyes hidden behind a red mask, a red and black suit, with golden ornaments, that either a prince or an army's general may use. Soft steps leaded him through the crowd as he reached the center. The princess kept on walking; her beautiful pink dress seemed to fly as she took delicate yet decided steps; her green eyes behind a butterfly-shaped mask that matched the color of her dress; her entire figured glowing in l

Cartoon Weddings Are Nice
By Nintendo Maximus
Our setting is a big, wonderful, heavenly church,
And inside, a big crowd has come in to perch.
The people inside are gathered for a very special day;
A dozen different couples are all to be wed today!
The duodecad wedding is being observed
By many guests, a decent percentage unnerved.
They're all cartoon characters, quite fitting of
The twelve couples, for they're all toons in love.
Fittingly, the assembly of millions were all created
By the same studio as the pairs who have dated
And are now being wed in those peoples' eyes.
(Hopefully, they've all well-adjusted their ties!)
The crowd is full of toons both old and fairly recent,
Western and Eastern, preschool and morally indecent,
All from the worlds of Cartoon Network and Disney,
Not to mention Nickelodeon's mighty animated jubilee.
In front of this congregation stand the twelve grooms,
All of them having been bitten by true love's blooms.
Their hearts are all beating away

StormOh no! Cindy rattled the door knob again, pushing her wet hair out of her face. It was no use; the door remained locked. She gazed at her front door in dismay, futilely launching a kick at it. Her house keys were still on the nightstand, where shed dropped them the night before.Storm8 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Thunder rumbled ominously; the sudden downpour that had halted the party showed no signs of stopping as unexpectedly as it started. Whimpering, Cindy hunkered down on her front steps, prepared to wait out the storm. She could just barely make out the Neutrons house across the street through the heavy rain. The faint red light on the front of Jimmys old clubhouse caught her eye.

JC week, day 1 - First meetingNine-year-old Cindy Vortex was if not the most nice girl at the school, the smartest and most admired one. That day, she was happily talking with her best friend at the back of the classroom. Class was about to begin and the teacher was still absent. Suddenly, a low whisper could be heard all over the place, it seemed like every single little kid was talking with low voice.JC week, day 1 - First meeting4 years ago in Romance More Like This
Both girls stared at the door; a new kid was walking in, white sport shoes, short blue pants, a red-and-white striped shirt and an unusually big head. Of course, every single whisper was related to the boy's head and exaggerated funny hairdo, and Cindy wasn't the exception.
"He looks like a nerd." The blond girl said. "I mean, just look at him."
"Look at that!!" her friend said. Cindy turned around and saw the fat boy of the group talking to the new one. Also, the Ultra-lord obsessed one reached for them both with some eager screaming.
"Gosh", little Vortex exclaimed, "Even the nerds are talking to him already.

"I told you this thing isn't what it used to be. And you owe me way more than a shirt." Jimmy ran his fingers through his hair. It was shorter now.
"Ugh, Were gonna be stuck here now aren't we? Were gonna become castaways that go insane and start talking to rocks." Cindy flopped back into the seat behind her.
"That's only for lonely castaways. You have me to talk to." Jimmy said, trying to reassure her.

Thirteen-year-old Jimmy Neutron stood in his backyard, carefully loading supplies into his Hyper Cube for the trip he had planned for him and his friends to Retroville Beach. Or course, he had most everything one could think of to begin with, but it never hurts to double check.
"Let's see," he mutter to himself as he took inventory, "Towels...sunscreen...beach umbrellas...an Ultralord snorkel?" he removed the bright purple and tossed it aside as someone tapped his shoulder. Turning around, he came face-to-face with Cindy Vortex. She gave him a slightly amused smile.

His room was filled with presents he had received. The walls had all sorts of posters of comic book heroes even one or two anime posters and various high school-rock bands. By his bed he had a fishbowl but with no fish inside.
The boy was wearing a pair of new looking trainers, baggy blues jeans, a pink t-shirt over a white-sleeved top and a pink baseball hat. He also had a watch on his right wrist which had a pink strap and a blue face. The boy had bright blue eyes and a pair of noticeably large buck teeth. He was slim and about average height for his age, but considering today was his birthday; you could call him short for his age.

It was a peaceful, starry night in Retroville, and Jimmy was down in his lab tinkering with his latest experiment. Moonlight filtered down from the open skylight above and danced over him, splashing his workstation with blue ripples and casting an eerie glow over his face. He was so immersed in his work that he jumped when Goddard leaped up onto the table.
"It's just you, Goddard," he said, voice unsteadied. "You scared me a little."
His companion responded with a whine, and Jimmy paused to wipe the sweat off his forehead. "I know boy, I'm tired too. I'd like to go to bed, but if I don't finish this invention now, I won't be able to bring it in for show and tell tomorrow."
"Grr, bark bark!"
Jimmy knelt down to stroke his pet. "Don't worry about me; I've pulled all-nighters before. Besides, I think I've finally got this thing figured out. See?"
Jimmy held out his hand to Goddard and uncurled his fingers, revealing a small red triangle in the palm

Cindy ignored Libby's smirk, opting instead to stare lovingly at her boyfriend. There he was, practically yelling at Betty, saying he's loved her for quite some time. The only thing that could make her happier is if Betty turned lesbian and left Jimmy alone for good.

The three of them had snuck into resident "genius" (and their best friend) Jimmy Neutron's lab, mere minutes after he left. They broke into his lab with a single strand of hair for the DNA scanner.

The reason? Simple really...

She was angry.
Although, livid may be a more appropriate term for the moment. Yes, Cindy Vortex was livid, enraged, furious angered more, now than she had ever known herself to be in her eleven years of existence.
And Why?! All because of that know-it-all, that annoying competition, that fudge-headed, arrogant, giant-brained dork, known as Jimmy Neutron. He'd done it, he'd successfully managed to anger her beyond reason.
This exact anger, she'd taken out on her poor, unsuspecting, fudge-ripple soft-serve ... though ... it was it's own fault ... she theorized, How dare it have such an uncanny ... resemblance. To HIM!
