A Week With LokiThe beginning of the week with Loki was more normal than I expected. I told the god that he could sleep either in the yellow room or somewhere upstairs, instead of in the basement. He agreed to sleep upstairs in the room next to mine, but he spent most of the day in the basement. I didn’t know what he does down there, and I realized I didn’t want to know.A Week With Loki3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Then again, I spent most of my time upstairs on the computer. We weren’t bothering each other, and we basically only saw the other during the meal times. I was happy that this wasn’t awkward.
We ate dinner, like, usual and we both went upstairs for bed. I went to the computer before I slept and Loki went into the room with the two twin beds. I used the bigger room and I slept on the bigger bed. Still, I felt bad that he always got the small bed. I offered Loki my room, but he declined.
So, I went to bed at about 10:00. I sighed as I laid down in the big bed and covered myself in the sheet and blanket.

Today was . . . odd to say the least. I have been trying to get out of the castle for the past couple of days now and usually I just wander around the city or headed in the Plains of Ida and look at rocks. But today I headed far away from the city out to the abandoned city of Vanir. I wanted to be alone far away from noise, and since the old city of Vanir was abandoned eons before it should have been the perfect place to think about life and other things. Getting to the city the night was creeping across the sky, and the winds began to pick up slightly, welcoming in the colder night air. Going to my usual spot near the edge of the Asgard continent. Staring out into space at the other worlds I near noises behind myself. Thinking it is just the wind I continue to contemplate my existence. All of a sudden two hands wrap around my chest pick me up and slam me into the ground on my back and a spear held to my throat. Looking at the figure it resembled a woman with ful

It started with a difficult choice. Surrender or save his pride. When Loki chose the latter, he marked the start of a strange accident, funny misadventures, and a realization that changed his miserable life.
Loki's dangerously weakened body changes itself into a six-year-old with no memory of what he has done. The Avengers cannot bring themselves to kill an innocent child, even if the child will grow up to blow up a city. Keeping Loki in the Avengers Tower will end with unexpected results, though. After all, this is the God of Mischief we're talking about.
Set post-battle, right before Loki says "I'll have that drink now." Ending may be sad.

Long have I served as the guardian spirit
I am known as the Deku Tree.
The Children of the Forest, The Kokiri, live here with me. Each Kokiri has his or her own guardian fairy.
However there is one boy who does not have a fairy
The house was dark and quiet. The only thing you could hear was the small cries of a poor boy, lying in bed, bundled up in his thin blankets, and drenched in sweat. He turned onto his side mumbling in his sleep, begging that his awful nightmares would just go away
There was lighting flashing so brightly, the boy blinked and covered his eyes. Rain was falling so hard that it caused the boy's cheeks to burn. There were Torches lit with fire that was slowly dying because of the rain, next to a drawbridge slowly creaking open.
The sound of hooves clanking against the wooden bridge, and out galloped the horse. A white, beautiful horse running for dear life as the woman rider urged it on desperat

The sky above Asgard was perhaps more complex than this one, with the daylight swirling away like a dancer's petticoats to reveal stars and nebulas gleaming like facets in an enormous black crystal. But, there were no clouds in Asgard. Not really.
Thor rather liked clouds. People said snowflakes could never be exactly alike, each one a perfect example of uniqueness. But Thor thought these people rather short-sighted as clouds were exactly the same. After all, all ice can do in the end is melt. Clouds had potential. For rain. Snow. Mist.
And, of course, storms.
Clouds were ever changing. Influenced by a thousand meteorological factors. Each one not only completely individual but constantly changing and melding to better fit with the shape of the world. Wispy cirrus and misty cirrostratus. Woolly cirrocumulus, remarkably akin to the fleece of a lamb. Altocumulus which formed in patches and looked almost like an upside down range of snow-capped hills.

"Hela?" Loki tried again, but his voice drifted silently down the empty, dusky hallways before melting into the darkness. Loki shifted uncomfortably. As much as the God of Malice detested the altogether-too-cheery halls of Asgard, the mansion of Hel was rather too gloomy for his tastes.
It was beautiful and grand; of course, he would have expected no less from his daughter, but it was so very, very dismal . He wondered where Hela had gotten her dullness from. He was anything but dull himself, and Angrboda had often been compared to the moon by the Midgardians.
As Loki's mind wandered, he suddenly found himself standing before a single, dark, intricately designed door. It was most peculiar, but he felt drawn towards the room beyond.
It wasn't just the door well, partly, since it was one of the most striking designs he'd seen in this

peasant who was happily selling bright flowers on the streets, was filled with glee. A bright grin
decorated her pretty face as she held out flowers to the passersby and often, she would get someone to
stop and buy from her, but it wasn't because of the pretty flowers. Most of the time, it was because
they were wondering how she could be so happy. If they ever asked, she would simply laugh and reply,
"What haven't I to be happy about? I am living and healthy!"
So intrigued by her positive attitude, they would buy her flowers until there was no more left to buy.
It was late afternoon by the time she was nearly sold out of her fragrant flowers when a handsome

Distant Memories Of A Love Done Gone .They say it's difficult to love someoneDistant Memories Of A Love Done Gone .3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
When you can't even love yourself.
But I loved you nonetheless,
The problem was I didn't know when to stop.
You kept sending me mixed signs
Making me dizzy until I
Much less right
When our world started crumbling down and
T e a r i n g at the seams
It was so easy for you to let it fall apart.
But I, knowing no other kind of love,
desperately clung to the remaining bits,
Trying to put them back together.
Yet the pieces changed too much, too quickly,
They kept growing and
growing a p a r t,
until your world was only yours
and mine a hollow echo of its past.
Looking back now, it seems like it
All happened in a different life,
With some other you, some other me,
And the lips kissing my own were just a dream.

Drugged up in an anaesthetic haze of morphine induced comatose

From escaping my insomniac lips
I've chewed them shut and pasted book spines on my ribcage
In an attempt to be something organic and interesting
Because the plain Jane exterior I've laced between my iris's
Is becoming a contradiction of what little sanity I possess

That I'll never skip,
Much music comes and goes,
But your song won't slip.
You're controlling the beat,
The rhythmic pulsing of my heart,
When we're close it races,
And it slows when we're apart.
Your beautiful song,
Washing away all my fears,
Never has such a tone,
Soared so gracefully around my ears.
Your harmony so precious,
It's become an addiction,
Please don't leave my ears alone,
This is my happy affliction.
You're my secret love,
No one else can hear what I do,
You just needed the right listener,
Someone who could appreciate you.
You're my perfect melody,
Not to be replaced by another,
We both had something missing,
And now we found each other.

"Don't push yourself too hard okay? Remember, you just got back yesterday." I yelled as she disappeared over a hill. Sighing, I hurried after Rin who was oblivious to the fact that she was still technically sick...
A sudden burst of cold hit my neck and ran down the back of my shirt "NYYYAAAHHHH!!!! That's COLD!!!!!!"
"Bet you can't get me back." Rin taunted, another snowball in hand and poised for attack.
"Oh really?" I scooped a handful of snow in my hand and quickly returned the favor. "Who's winning now?" My vision turned white as another one of Rin's snowballs hit me.
"Still me." she piped, kissing my nose and then running off behind me.
Quickly brushing off the snow I ran after her, only to find her face down in the snow.
She didn't answer.

The time carries on, by and by
languid, lethargic, and seemingly lacking...
No rest for the working man,
has made my limbs weak and brittle.
No push lies against my back,
no pull of my feet along the given path.
Mr. Sandman, repay me my memory in full.
This lack of alleviation makes me to be some sort of fool.
A heart so torn as to my mind, many lacerations...
Though the scars are back home,
where left I, my soul.
Hindered, the mindless drone before you,
as I understand not even my own actions.
Be this change or some phase,
I wish it to end,
as I grow weary of this
over sized bump in the road.
Forever may it be my faith
allows me some peace...
For as of right now...
It is the "what if?" that keeps me moving...

There was a time,
A time where my thoughts were flowing,
Dripping in a river of dreams,
As clear as the water,
As vivacious as the torrent.
A time when my smiles were true,
Unbroken by words of sorrows,
Bright and warm as a living light.
I've lived in times were men would sing,
An harmony of hopes,
A symphony of life.
They made promises that soon went blank,
And my smiles perished with them,
Laughter covered by a ravaging anguish.
But the dreams, I've seen them from afar,
Therefore I will keep running,
Before this time goes by.

Tom finished signing another autograph and looked back to see if he could see her again. She was gone, but then he saw her leaving the crowd. Every inch would host a jagged line
where my so called 'selfish pride'

Idiot mistakes of my youth,
and moronic declarations
of what I thought was insignificant.
Mistakes, errors of judgment,
a complete lapse in sense,
that litter my skin with memories of pain.
For a moment
I thought I was important
not someone to be overlooked.
My selfish pride betwixt me
for everything was little

My mistakes are scars
littering my skin
tainting once pure flesh.
Blunders of thoughts,
guilt as endless as the sky,

Though they haunt my thoughts everyday
I can't help but hope that one day
they will be scars instead of thoughts
so everyone else will know
they thoughts that haunt me everyday.

Anymore, it's gone.

Tears run down my face,

Why won't they stop?
I'm trying to hang on

But hell, I can't keep
Holding on like this.

I thought everything
