Another assignment for school, this time I had to recreate Frogger in ActionScript 3 and this is the result. I made the graphics a bit nicer to look at, adjusted some graphics and kept the original vehicles in it.
I know some things are missing like bonus frogs, crocodiles, snakes and frogger to respond on keyrelease (<- haven't figured out yet), but it's still a fun little game to play.
Use the arrow keys to move. Avoid the cars and jump on the logs to reach the other side. Reach the other side before the counter turns 0. Each 2000 points will earn you an extra life!
Fluunix is a platformer, but not your standard one, because you can fly. Dodge dangerous traps and escape from devious enemies. There is also a survival aspect too. The game has a simple and happy aesthetic, it takes place in a grassy labyrinth in the sky.

Since Corrupt Cop is pretty much complete, and having a file size of ~6.20 MB, I thought some internet speeds would lead people to leave instead of waiting for the game to load, so...
I implemented a game on the loading screen! Woot. :D The game is a remaster of the old Asteroids game, which I made for a game called Nostalgic Trip which I never finished (basically a lot of old games mashed into one where you would complete one level from one game, and then go on to the next, and then proceed until you completed all the games... Sort of like, Wario Ware Inc., but with old video games.) I'll finish it if anybody wants me to. ( comments!!1)
So yeah, have fun. Also the game repeats the same 12 levels, but for each time you pass the 12th level (level 12, 24, etc.) the asteroids move slightly faster and split into more tiny asteroids - so the game goes on forever....
Btw, the loading example at the bottom doesn't actually download anything, it's just a simulation of downloading 6.20 MB on a network that downloads with a speed of 57 KB/s.
Freegear is a pseudo 3D racing game similar to the old Top Gear and Lotus Challenge games. The player must compete in five tournaments against seven other drivers to ultimately win the world championship. In total, 20 unique races can be played in various weather conditions and environments.
The car is driven in a third person perspective and can be upgraded to improve its steering, acceleration, maximum speed and nitro power. Credits to spend on upgrades can be won in Tournament mode. Also, when the player wins a gold, silver or bronze trophy in a tournament, the races of this tournament become available in Quick Race mode, where the player can configure its visibility, weather and lap number.

This took 4 months to produce and a lot of patience but I finally realized my old dream of making a pseudo 3D simulation like my all-time favorite old school racing game, Top Gear. I had to cut many corners to be on schedule though, and you can be assured that a sequel will be made, with a little big help for the graphics.
To be fair, the engine itself is fairly good enough for my taste, but the graphics are definitely lacking, the races are somewhat repetitive, the AI and collision detection are very obviously rushed and the interface downright sucks. It's okay if you get lost trying to start playing, I almost do get lost myself in this mishmash of textual confusion. I still have a lot to learn on that front.
Anyway, thank you for playing, and stay tuned for more online digital entertainment signed DieJay!
I think making the icon (which turned out kinda crap i must say) took longer than making the game itself. It's basically guitar hero - but you play with the keys, and there's NO SOUNDS! i'm lazy when it comes to sounds.
Post your time - but practice first, may change the difficulty depending on what people say
thanks for playing.
edit: changed the number of chances given from 10 to 15, to make the game last slightly longer
edit: fixed a couple of huge bugs (seems some of the high scores may have been caused by an unfair advantage with the timer o.o)
