A piece I did for the Rusted Souls Group Exhibit. This one was a personal fav to work on, and is really.. really heavily inspired by Ashley Wood's work. (One day I shall buy an original from him. One day...)

Originally titled The Sniper. The concept behind this guy was that he uses robot wrecks as armor and camouflage.

Took ages to finish this, due to having schoolwork and stuff but I think it's finally done. Those who've been watching me for a while knows that mechanized samurais have a soft spot in my heart, and has been a pet project of mine since my first year in art school.

I'm hoping to create a whole vis.dev project out of this by the end of the semester so stay tuned!

Following my Mechanized Samurai [link] , here is the Oni Grunt, the more common enemies the Mechanical Samurai will face.

Spent quite a long time on this one, and I think I managed to push myself aesthetically wise. I might do a tutorial on how I did these two pieces if I have the time. Expect more Japanese mechanical demons soon. :D

Back unto more Rusted Souls stuff. This concept was heavily inspired by Masamune Shirow's designs. The whole idea behind this is that the robot houses the artificial consciousness of her deceased twin brother.

Wow. It's been nearly six months since I submitted any art here. Been busy with life and work. Just gonna take this chance to say hi to my new watchers and thanks to the old ones for still following me despite my inactivity. Thank you guys so much!

Finally got my groove back to do more work for my personal project "Legend of Samurai". Here we have my version of a mechanical Tengu, and it's pretty much the only other pilotable unit besides the Mechanical Samurai unit... so far. There are two cockpits: one in the bird part and the other in the humanoid part, one to control the movement of the unit and the other handling battle parts.

The design was inspired by a few of my favourite things: Macross , Einhander and Zone of the Enders.

Hope you guys like!
