Four Times the Hero - part 2"Where are we going?" Blue didn't waste time questioning Green's plan. The four had taken several turns and discovered that they were in a maze of hallways. Some were lit and others were dark they'd avoided the dark ones so far due to Red's squeamishness. There were no stairways or ladders leading up or down.Four Times the Hero - part 22 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Wherever the exit is!" Green quipped right back.
"Let's stop," Vio called the group to a halt. They were all panting from the time and speed of their run. Vio stared at the wall closest to them and then down the length of the hallway, taking in all the details as if a clue to their way out would appear if he stared long enough. Taking a torch down from its holder on the wall, he looked to Red and said, "We're gonna have to go down one of the dark hallways."
Red began to protest, "But "
"These lit ones are leading us nowhere," Blue agreed. "Those shadowy guys took us right?"
"So their exit would be through the shadows," Green finished, catching on to Vio and Blue's tr
Four Times the Hero - part 6"Here we are!" Navi was the first on the beach. No one could deny that the sun coming up over the waves was a sight they loved to see after a dark night of wandering through the fields. Even the sounds of the ocean were a pleasant change from Navi and Red's chatter. As much as they all wanted a break, and a few hours of sleep, they wanted to keep moving more.Four Times the Hero - part 62 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Thanks for your help, Navi," Green smiled; there was only the smallest hint of exhaustion in his eyes. Without the fairy's help, the four heroes would probably still be going the wrong way. And even though Blue was starting to plan several ways to get Navi to permanently shut up, Green was still glad she was there.
"Yeah, thanks, bye," Blue tried to shoo Navi away. If he had to hear her say "hey" or "listen" again, he'd take Red's fire-rod and put it to good use.
"Hey!" Navi snapped. She, as much as everyone else, could tell Blue didn't like her but he could at least try to hide it better. She liked all the boys just so. "You tol
Four Times the Hero - part 1The darkness was unsettling, and it felt like it was closing in on Red. He'd woken only moments ago with a very sore head. What happened? He thought as he sat up and wiped dirt from his cheek with the back of his hand. He looked around but there wasn't much to see without any light filtering into the room. "Green? Blue? Vio ?" His chest tightened; no one was answering him. Panic started to set in. He stood up and walked forward, arms in front of him so he wouldn't run into anything. His fingers touched cold, rusted steel and Red realized he was in some sort of jail cell. His eyes watered, lower lip quivered. "Green! Blue! Vio! Where are you?!"Four Times the Hero - part 12 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
"Ah, shut up!" Blue's voice came from the far left of Red. Ecstatic that Blue was within earshot, Red ran towards his voice, but ended up smacking his face into unforgiving steel bars and falling backwards square on his bottom. Blue was sitting in the middle of his own cell, arms and legs crossed, very grumpy. "If you weren't so damn
Four Times the Hero - part 4"What have you done with Princess Zelda?!" Green demanded, his fingers curling more tightly around the hilt of the Four Sword. Any clue, any hint Shadow would drop, Green would grab at as would the others. As knights of Hyrule, Zelda was their first priority.Four Times the Hero - part 42 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Zelda? Well she's still in one piece if that's what you're wondering," Shadow cackled, taking a small step toward the line of Links. Taking on all four of them at once didn't even give him shivers. HE was the hero Link. HE had Zelda. And HE, was going to be the one to rule Hyrule. No one could stand in his way; especially not four cheap copies of Link who couldn't even escape a simple dungeon without squabbling!
"Where is she?!" Blue mirrored Shadow's movements and took a step forward, breaking the line they'd formed. "Tell us now or we'll beat it out of you!"
Vio moved forward to stand on Blue's left, cutting off Shadow's path to the right. Green stood next to Blue, reinforcing the block in front of S
Four Times the Hero - part 5"Are we there yet?" Red was dragging his feet as he whined. It felt to him that it had been years since they started walking. The stars provided some light but it was so late into the night that they were beginning to need some kind of fire to see their path.Four Times the Hero - part 52 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"We'll be there when we get there," Blue snarled in reply. If he had to listen to Red tell another joke or complain about how long they'd been at it, he'd kill the brat himself.
"Where are we trying to get to again?" Vio was just as tired as the rest of them; he could barely think straight. They didn't even know where they were, or how they got there, or if Shadow was following them, or how long it would take to get back to Hyrule Castle. He was tired of thinking and, admittedly, tired of listening to Red, Blue, and Green bicker. Red's jokes had started them with laughs, but he'd eventually given up because of Blue's sour attitude. Blue had then begun to start to tell his jokes only they were not-so-nice jokes ab
Four Times the Hero - part 3Now that Red was comfortable and confident with a sword and fire-rod in his hands, he led the way out of the room and down the hallway. He was humming a cheering tune that was popping into his head as he went. The flame on the top of the fire-rod burned brighter than any torch they passed.Four Times the Hero - part 32 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Why's he in front?" Blue grumbled.
"He's got the light," Green answered matter-of-factly. Blue was quick to show Green a finger that would have made Red cry.
"Are you done yet?" Vio drawled, swinging the bag of bombs like a pendulum. His eyes slid to the side, just the slightest hint of a threat in them when they met with Blue's and Green's.
"What if I'm not?!" Blue challenged, flipping the hammer in a circle and resting in on his shoulder. Without so much as batting his eyes, Vio pulled the drawstring to the bag and reached in for a bomb. "You wanna start this? I will fu-"
"A way out!" Red interrupted happily. Blue narrowed his eyes and glared at Vio.
"I don't see anything," Green stopped next to R
