Keep Calm And Comic-Con
Keep Calm And Comic-Con

This year was especially important to me personally and was a milestone of sorts on
multiple levels and for deviantART as a whole. Many of the reasons why will become clear
over the next few months as announcements are made and new ideas are shared with everyone
in the community.
s the multi dimensional, pop fueled, color exploded dream like haze that was Comic-Con begins
to fully dim and fade from accurate remembrance, I can’t shake the feeling that this year was s
SEGA is pathetic Archie is patheticThis is honestly pathetic, I've heard from :iconvictauron: Apparently Sonic and sally are no longer lovers there just friends now, SEGA is pathetic Archie is pathetic. These two deserve the worst company award. Yes Ken did the lawsuit thing, but fuck that, the main blame goes directly to SEGA. I say this because they don't care how a series works, Sonic is not Call of duty where the story is about as important as the sky boxes they create.SEGA is pathetic Archie is pathetic8 months ago in Scraps More Like This
The Sonic series has characters, worlds, characters we adored for SPECIFIC REASONS! everyone was not a hollow shell like they believed them to be, for the past 20 years lets ALL be honest here, the comics were the only stable form of story for the series. The games have always changed as did the story and world itself, SEGA has NEVER stayed with a basic story platform everything always changed from game to game to game. No 2 games take place in the same type of world, excluding sonic colors and generations and I do

Interview with *SilentReaper
Welcome to ASKtheARTIST. My name is *thefluffyshrimp and today I have the great privilege to interview *SilentReaper, artist behind the ever popular StupidFox and other great comic series. Thank you for presenting us with this opportunity to interview you, SilentReaper.
Hey all you folks there in AtAChat! Go ahead and start posting questions now.
~random-artist101 asks, "What brought you to deviantART?"
Awesome for a first question, I was brought to deviantART by a group of artists that I knew in an Oekaki/PaintChat site called "BakaNeko." I used to draw a bunch of landscapes there and everyone on that site was so nice and helpful. So one day they just told me about deviantART and how I should post some of my stuff there. I think I still have one painting from BakaNeko up in my deviantART gallery.
~EveryoneDeservesLove asks, "How long have you been drawing?"
I've been drawing ever since I could pick up a pencil. My parents a

Troll face cautiously climbed over the text bubbles on the deviantART message center belonging to an un-suspecting deviant. His grin expanded when he saw the surprise in the lonely computer nerds face, mouth wide and eyes bugged out. Before the poor soul could even press the "print screen" button, Troll Face playfully disappeared behind the comment box and flashed to another page.
He recognized his creators page in a flash. Taking a moment to rest, Troll Face took a little stroll in Whynne's gallery, gazing at himself in his first ever appearance on DeviantART; "Comic-Trolls".
Wiping a tear from his deformed eye, Troll Face quickly shocked another unsuspecting deviant and ran off to one of the admin's pages.
With his mischevious grin as wide as ever, he arranged everything backwards on the admin's page. All the words, avatars, and pictures were backwards, and he knew with an obnoxious snicker that this would make some people very mad. Which is exactly what
GaiKaka: The Challenge Chap. 2Kakashi sighed. "You still have more than one chance, Gai. And you can do your...knitting...later." He continued scanning the pages of his book.GaiKaka: The Challenge Chap. 27 years ago in Scraps More Like This
"But still! It is hard facing the fact that I'm failing this challenge already!" Gai cried, shifting his position to glare at Kakashi's book.
Kakashi slid the book out of sight, storing his thumb on the page he was on. "Are you saying that Maito Gai, the Green Beast of Konoha, cannot win over the hearts of women? Jiraiya would be ashamed."
Gai turned to glare at Kakashi. "Of course I can! It just dampens my spirit to fail so early in this.... game," He huffed, crossing his arms.
"Relax," Kakashi sighed, putting a hand on Gai's shoulder, "Besides, don't you want to see me running naked in Konoha in utter humiliation?"
"I'd be pretty funny to see how many other sensei's get nosebleeds...." Gai trailed off, smirking. His happy mood had returned at last!
Kakashi saw the look on Gai's face and his smile, although vaguely twitching, returned as well

Case File 1: ParaUnit 5
Silver droplets of rain pelted the ground as a howling wind brutally struck any unsuspecting victims it came across, the midnight weather becoming more and more destructive with each second that passed. Twenty year old Rhys Wiliams shielded his emerald eyes as he dashed through the unforgiving weather, nothing but the "tall man" on his mind. Warm blood trickled down his arm serving as a reminder of the horrors he had witnessed only a few minuets ago. His vision became blurred, the furious rain continuously pounding his tired being, making it more difficult to keep to the public foot-path as he dashed through the ancient forest.
Rhys skidded to a halt. His stalker stood motionless before him, blocking his path, it's non-existent gaze piercing Rhys's soul. Fear and adrenaline filled his being as the creatures tendrils burst from its back, flailing like unkept hose-pipes. Rhys wanted to run and hide, but he couldn't. It was if he had been glued to the spot by fear.
