It was silly. Why was she still crying over him? It'd been so long since she'd last seen him. Three months. Well, definitely less than the three years he'd been gone initially.
Today was especially hard though and she knew why, not that she'd ever say it out loud. When Suco had thought that Cal had died she never cried on this day. She'd meander over to the cemetery and kneel as his grave marker, speaking out loud about mindless things. It left her content and satisfied. Gave her the idea that she could move on some day.
But then he showed up again.
That had changed everything. Just when she was feeling like the wound had healed, that she could carry on, maybe even pack up and move to the Bakery Kingdom, he'd shown up. Everything about him had been so familiarly unfamiliar. His fluorescent orange hair spiked up to a point looked messier, his blue-green eyes tired and dazed. She briefly remembered how those eyes used to look at her. She remembered even longer how they'd looked at the gi

A long and very stress-filled month.
After Caramel had awoke, things had not gone as well as he had hoped they would. She had lost her memory, and yes, it was devastating horribly so.... but he had high hopes. He knew it could not be permanent it would be a temporary problem that, he was sure, would be fixed right away. All she needed were some things to remind her, that was all. So for the first few weeks after she woke, he continued to stay at her side, talking to her, reminding her of things that came to pass. And to help in her recovery, he started bringing her things as well: her favorite foods, her favorite music, their songs, some pictures, anything really! And he showed them to her, spoke of those times, giving as much detail as he could recall. For the most part, she seemed to take everything in stride. She was healing well, she seemed to have no damage to her motor skills! Besides her memory loss, the only othe

It wasn't unusual for Tex to toss Cal in a place where the inhabitants dislike humans. In some cases his arm could get him off the hook and, considering the gray scale granite that surrounded him he thought this would be a similar case. However the grey, stoney people seemed to actually be glaring at him. And in some cases they seemed to be studying him as though they weren't quite seeing something right. Though he was unsurprised by the odd looks he was not prepared for when two men came up behind him and grabbed him by the arms.
"Come with us," they ordered. Cal didn't seem to get much choice in the matter.
"What thehey, what's the deal?! Lemme go!" He struggled in their grasp though their stone arms didn't budge as they dragged him away. "Where're you takin' me?!"
"You have been summoned," the man to his left said flatly.
"Whatwhy?! I've only been here an hour, what could I've done?!" He continued to struggle in their unbreakable grasp.

Her mother, following her father's death, had just moved to a far-off kingdom to start again, leaving the young woman who refused to go with her alone. It had only been two weeks since then that the man collapsed at the outskirts of the small society.
It looked as though he'd been running a very long time and his granite body had finally given out on him. The Laizhous were called to him before anyone would touch himhe was, of course, strange and foreign. The pair looked at him with wide eyes for a few moments before declaring, "He's from the Stone Kingdom." There was a buzz among the crowd.
"Are you gonna just stare at him, then?" Michelle pushed her way to the front of the crowd, kneeling down beside the man.. "He needs help, doesn't he?" She looked up to the older couple.
"No," Mrs. Laizhou said simply. "Only rest. Looks like he just tired himself out. " She bent down beside him and looked the man over, taking note of his heavy breaths. She nod

The man's eyes opened half way. He was in a roomhad he made it to civilization before he'd passed out? He couldn't remember. And what was he laying in? It was soft and squishy; he felt as though he'd fall through it. His thoughts were interrupted when a woman entered the room. He quickly became fascinated by her and all of the colors on her bodyher orange hair, the pale, peachy tone of her skin, the bright blue of her eyes. He smirked at her lazily as she came over to him.
"I died, didn't I?" he joked. "And now I'm in heaven."
She looked down at him, surprised to hear a voice. "No," she replied simply, "You're in Atelpo village." He laughed a bit, earning a smile from the girl. "I'm Michelle."
"Well, Darren," she said, sitting at the foot of the bed. "You've been asleep for almost three days now. What in Ooo were you doing?"

"Goodbye, Calvin." echoed between his ears. He jumped a little at thatTex had never talked to him when he wasn't floating in the tunnel of stars. Not that it mattered now, it seemed that that was the last he'd ever hear from the hot-headed young boy. For all he knew, the moment before was the last he'd ever see of life outside the Stone Kingdom. He was nervous of course, he was about to agree to a lifestyle he'd never wanted to get near with a man he'd sworn he'd never make contact with. What am I doing? He took in a deep breath, squeezing Joanna's hand tightly and looking to her for reassurance. She gave him a small smile and a short nod and he let out a sigh.
Okay. He screwed his eyes shut, taking a deep breath. They were already inside the castle, it was just a matter of actually finding the king. He figured it wouldn't be terribly hard, especially once someone spotted them.

But, after a while of checking, yet again, that she was ready, Alexandria finally decided it was time to leave. She put her backpack on and headed down the stairs, thinking about everything. 'It's my great shame to announce to everyone,' Blair's voice wavered as she began, 'that Edwin L Duda is no longer alive. That, as a result of his injuries sustained during his battle with the demon that destroyed the Church, he passed away about ten minutes ago.'
Behind her, Ed's body lay straight on the floor, with his friend Middy (who was in cat form on his chest, sobbing) and his wife Brooklyn sitting next with him. Brooklyn was crying hard, leaning on him and not letting go.
'Wh-why... *sob* I-it's not fair...' Brook sobbed onto Ed's lifeless shoulder.
At the table, Eve sat in Fuku's lap, crying her eyes out while he comforted her.
'Shh, shh... It's okay, let it all out...' Fuku said, his voice uneasy as well.
Behind Eve, on another chair, was her best friend Layla, who sat with her stroking her back and hugging her.
'W-we're here for you, hun.' Layla said, half supportively and half in need of support.
Eve said nothing and simply held them both tight, sobbing hard.

Hello, There! My name's Bit! You may know me as that young dude at the guitars in the band Prince Fours, Ooo's most Popular Boy Band Royalty!...Or at least that's what my brothers call themselves. Welcome to the story of my life, not as a boyband slash prince, but as, well, myself.
Now, first off, I'm the youngest of four brothers who's born with musical talents. My eldest, Leroy, though he's very silent and barely utters a word, had the luck of playing smooth pieces with his bass. He's also pretty good with other instruments, it's just that he prefer the strings above all.
My second eldest, Jackie, is our lead singer. He's really stupid. And I'm being honest here, he's arrogant and all, but nobody seem to care cuz he's always lucky! He always picks on me and my bro, Morglark, which, as you can tell, is annoying. But He is a sensible leader at times, and he had his moments of sheer awesome when it hits him.

Ed's eyes drifted open. He exhaled lightly, and turned to see his wife, Brooklyn, in bed next to him. Always a great start to the day, he thought with a smile, as he kissed her head gently. Then he went to move the covers, and caught sight of something alarming- a human hand where his own metal one should be. He gave a shout of alarm- which woke Brooklyn- and pulled the covers back.
Both of his arms and legs were normal again: fleshy, skin-pink and covered in fine hair. Ed moved a hand up his cheek, and his eyes flickered shut as his hand approached- all the proof Ed needed that his eyes were 'normal' too.
Ed looked around in shock. Why was he suddenly no longer a cyborg? 'What the f*** is going on here?' he stammered.
Brook rubbed her eyes and glanced up at him. 'What do you mean, sweetheart?'
'Wh-where are my metal arms? M-my legs? My eyes?'
Brooklyn gave a confused smile. 'Ed, my love, I have no idea what you're talking about.'
Ed shook her gently by the shoulders.

A day passed with little activity, the normal routine of the land off Aaa passing along with little notice. The prince had made good by his word and had ridden Lord Monochromicorn to see his friend, still slightly sore and worn out from the long night out. The animals hung around together for a time while Prince Gumball caught up with his friend, Fionna. He explained the little adventure he'd had with the undead bassist and how he was curious about the vampire's behavior. Fionna was still under the weather but only offered advice, assuring the prince that he didn't know enough about Marshall Lee to have a proper understanding of the night-walker. The candy man took this to heart as they finally departed to return home, where he spent the rest of the day carrying out his normal orders. The issue of the next celebration came up, and he was left to design the theme and reasoning as he retired to his room shortly after supper.

To anyone else it would seem as though the small cottages of the village were randomly strewn about, but to him they made perfect sense. His eyes trailed through them, every now and then pausing on one. Behind him laid the Aquarium Kingdom, only three or four miles back over flat grassland. He'd gotten close to this place before; twice in fact. It wasn't hard to spot the small collection of homes, so why hadn't he? He didn't want to dwell on it.
Calvin descended down the hill slowly. it wasn't surprising to him for some reason that no one was moving about outside. The sun was sinking; everyone in the village always ate dinner at nearly the same time. Usually knowledge like that would have him jumping for joy but, for a reason he couldn't put his finger on, it created a knot in the pit of his stomach.
He didn't have to think twice about the route he took. He wove through the buildings expertly, his fingers occasionally grazing the old, creaky wood of them. In the center of the circle of
