Last of the sketches I was asked to do in the front of a couple of notebooks at work, apparently they're going to be gifts or something I think. Anyway, the art's not getting used for anything official so I can show it off here!

My interpretation of Gabriel Tosh. He is a Spectre from the Blizzard Entertainment game: Starcraft 2. Here he is depicted with his cadre of Spectres and a guest appearance of his nemesis: Nova. Oil on Paper.
At first glance, one might say this looks light Master Chief from the popular Halo game series from Bungie and Microsoft studios. However, upon a closer glance, you'll see that the only things that are similar to the Master Chief are the helmet and futuristic armor look.
I've have drawn and re-drawn this armor for years (over 10 to be more precise). The biggest inspiration for the armor design comes from our own bodies. In all of my armors, I tend to throw in musclesque shapes and design cues. The helmet, while initially looking like Master Chief's was actually inspired by samurai helmets. The "bill" of the helmet is actually a monocular device that drops over the holo-projection visor and provides optical zoom and night vision to the soldier inside. The hard armor is a high-impact resistance rubber alloy that is flexible, but hardens when struck suddenly by high velocity objects. The under armor is a muscle enhancing suit that increases endurance and can temporarily provide multiple times the strength of the wearer. The back of the armor has a mounting slot for a field pack. Multiple pouches and bags can be "adhered" to the armor via electro-magnetic bonds.
A reaper mini Bathalian primarch which I painted for use in an X-com game. this is an intelligent snake like creature that loves to devour braiiiiins. yummy I believe this is originally meant for DND illithiads 100% airbrushed.
