Ode to Sarah KerriganOde to Sarah KerriganOde to Sarah Kerrigan9 years ago in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
I met a snarky ghost
who was prettier than most
her name was Sarah Kerrigan
and no one else came close
She could make herself invisible
and hide from prying foes
she'd spy on them for hours on end
how my love for her did grow
But one day fate swept down on her
and said her time was near
I cursed and howled and threw a fit
'Not a chance!' I yelled for all to hear
Oh Sarah, why'd it happen
Sarah, why'd you go
Sarah, how I loved you
but I never told you so
I put her in a dropship
in the corner of the map
to protect her and to keep her safe
from enemy attack
The zerg rushed hard
they came en mass
foul, smelly, ugly beasts
all pawing for her ass
But my defenses stood their ground
all through the day and night
battle after bloody battle
a grueling, gory fight
Finally the violence stopped
and victory was neigh
the mighty zerg had lost this time
with Sarah safely in the sky
But what was this?!
A voice cried out
'Help me, help me, someone, PLEASE!' Sa

Chapter 1 Revealing Hiccups
The famed Commander never expected anything but the best. Shelby Shepard was a decorated war hero and survived one catastrophe after another. The scars on her body were merely badges she wore proudly as proof of her victories. Any battle she lived was another chance for her to fight, another chance for her to prove her abilities. Anyone who stood in her way would quickly find themselves with a fist planted firmly in their face. Shepard's forceful approach was notorious a certain reporter could attest to this.

Trunk Full of Rings - PopularDelving in once again, I pick a ring and pull it out. While my last transformation had resulted in some free clothes for my Rule 63 form, it wasn't worth almost losing my mind in the process.Trunk Full of Rings - Popular2 years ago in Profiles More Like This
Walking over to book, I place the golden brown ring on the page and write 'What's this one called?'.
'Popular. You have good tastes my friend' comes book's reply
'But I'm picking these randomly!'
There is a pause, 'You have good random tastes'
Rolling my eyes, I turn to the mirror and slide the ring on, wondering how it could possibly make me more popular. Seems like the only way I'm going to get an answer to that.
My waist slowly thins down while my hips and breasts expand, giving me a decent hourglass figure. However, unlike the rule 63 ring, this time it goes further, stopping only after my waist becoming almost amnesic while my hips and ass stick far out and my breasts are pushing the DD-cup boundary. My arms thin out as my thighs thicken and feet shrink. In fact my whole body is shrinking sli

Imagine a rat.
A cute, furry, pet rat.
Now, that rat is picked up.
It sits for a minute...
But that rat will eventually want out.
The rat squirms
the rat wiggles
the rat tries to bite
but the hand holds it there still.
Unable to move, it gives up.
Then, the other hand raises to pet the rat.
the rat is happy.
The rat is no longer scared.
the rat feels at home.
the rat couldn't be more at peace.
Now, who is that rat?
...that rat is you.
...that rat is me.
Who's hands are holding the rodent?
...those hands are God's.
First day of School (request)First day of School (request)3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Kevin and Dave's mothers had signed them up for a private school. They were fed up with the constant irritation of everyday life of school. However, Kevin and Dave didn't mind it; school didn't pose a problem to either one of them. Their moms thought that they were exposed to fights, drug use and any other problem that would typically happen at school. And they were. They usually stayed out of the way of those things, too. But it was too much for their mothers to absorb that that was life. However, they also thought that Kevin and Dave were growing a bit of an attitude towards either parent. So, they signed both of them up for a private school, in which, they will both attend together as friends. The boys were confused; how were they, in anyway, 'have an attitude'? They were obediant children! They did their homework, listened to their parents and played games like any other boy would. They assumed it was probably something to do with the whole school problem. It was the last day of school. Daniel was setting out for home when he heard rumors about a “mysterious voice moaning for help” after nightfall somewhere along the local public beach. They said the beach was haunted by some ghost, “Out to ensnare any who dared to answer it. Although slightly shaken by the tail-end of that rumor, Daniel's curiosity peaked. It was good timing as well since he had yet to plan out his summer vacation, so why not kick things off with a little ghost hunt?
Making a little detour home to grab some essentials, like a flashlight, a tape-recorder, a Catholic cross, etc... sneaking in a small meal, Daniel grabbed his bike and headed out. Night fell shortly after he'd arrived. The moon was covered rather nicely behind the dense, nighttime clouds, perfect enough to conceal Daniel's presence, until he went to use his flashlight, which he let rest in a loop on his cargo shorts

When there is no company, I define myself with tights. I wrap my bruises and prickles in triangles and silky stripes, making something sensuous; I pull soft cotton between my thighs and slowly swipe out wrinkles. I sway in front of mirrors, with saxophones serenading me from the machine on my mattress; I smile at my legs. They arc and stretch; they lift me upwards over nonexistent parading heads, and they hunt attention; they do not make a sound.
Without you, I sing to my dog and my nails and my feet. I make Frank Sinatra siphon my world from my eyes; he sings to me strongly and spins me with one light hand. He looks at my legs. My thighs freely flaunt themselves to wine red curtains and plushies from the past. There are no delicate dancers' legs to giggle behind the backs of mine. There are no men to ignore them; there are no men to push them aside and free them of their purple or pink or red or green veils in order to reach the more interesting parts. There is a clean and

"That's stupid!" you say.
"Not true," says I. This statement, in and of itself, provides proof for the existence of God. I know that, if you are a non-believer, you will instantly dismiss this quote. Your beliefs are quite firm, after all, and what can shake them? You question the existence of God, but you don't really want an answer. An answer will prove you wrong. However, if you are willing to read on, I think you'll find that the question of rather or not God exists isn't one of fact or fiction. It's true, and I shall illustrate how simply using this quote.
Perhaps I should put this quote into a different perspective. Here is one of the same theme by C. S. Lewis: "If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark."
The view behind this is simple: If ther

The whole planet trembled the moment it happened, eight years ago. I was just nine when it happened but it was enough to deeply scare me. A meteor struck Africa and there was nothing modern science could do about it, people though it was the end of the line for earth. Yet at the moment of impact only a crater and mild quakes were the end results. For a second the earth sighed as the so called "doomsday" turned out to be a pebble the size of a truck crashing in the middle of the western shorelines of Africa.
The world was relived and soon after things returned back to normal well sort of. There was a huge ongoing investigation of the crater as well of the meteor's remains, but there was no way it would affect us Or so we thought.

Boy was about nineteen. A young man really, but his face made him look younger. Girl was younger, maybe fifteen, sixteen. Peter Bowen thought as he kept his distance considering the situation, studying the several people involved.
City of wade was under Arenian occupation for over three centuries now, and Arenian trackers seeking out mages to be drafted to their military force was hardly an unusual event. Most people who were learned in spellcasting kept their skills hidden, and their weapons were creatively concealed.
Still give it enough time and any trickery will stand revealed. Trackers were by now very skilled in noticing anything with engraved spellcasting spiral. A ring, a stick, the smallest of things. They knew what they were looking for.
This was what baffled peter as he studied the unfolding situation. Boy was blatantly wearing two short swords with the casting spiral boldly and prominently visible on their handles. Either he was a fool, of a foreigner who decide

But to her horror right as she reached the handle the door opened sending her crashing down inside the house. Red with embarrassment she scrambled to her knees staring up at the person standing over her.
Above her a tall young man with blue hair and eyes held an ice cream cone. After an awkward moment, while they stared at each other quizzically the boy dropped the sugary cone and creamy liquid onto Haku's long white hair.
"Agh my ice cream!" The boy screamed.
"W- What is it?!" A shrill voice screamed. Haku watched a small blonde girl run down the stairs leading down to the front door. "

"But why not? You do realize that you brought this up, right?" Jesus asked, dragging the question.
David looked at the ground and frowned. It was very idiotic to bring up to Jesus that he did not trust Him...now Jesus was "making" him do a trust fall.
"Jesus, You do know that this is not useful at all...right?" David asked.
"How do you know that?" Jesus asked, smirking.
David sighed and turned around.
"Jesus, that's the thing...I didn't know that you were going to do this...You know that I hate trust falls, the person behind me always drops me. Even after they catch me, they just drop my head after my fall. Remember how I had to go to the hospital because of this stupid stunt?"
Jesus did not seem moved by David's almost convincing arguement.
"Do you want to trust Me or not?" Jesus asked, stretching His arms out.
David sighed frustratedly and turned back around, crossing his arms again.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
My self-esteem will drop and fall.
You must be lying, surely you jest,
For how is it I dont look my best?
I stand here, looking, every day,
Why is it I cant look away?
You point out every fault and flaw,
Pick until my heart is raw.
Censure me, show me contorted,
Visions of me, my views distorted.
You tear at me until I bleed,
You sink your teeth in and start to feed.
Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Whos the fairest of them all?
No-one as far as Im concerned,
Beauty is never truly earned.
Mirror, mirror, in my hand,
Whos the fairest in the land?
Dont know, although it isnt you,
Why dont you ask me something new?
A mirror will be your best friend,
With you til the very end.
It tells the truth, no sugared coat,
It makes you want to slit your throat.
The things it tells you cant be fake,
Although theyve caused you much heartache.
Mirrors are your enemy,

A blurred and painful awakening disrupted Chuck’s dormancy as his eyes slowly focused on his digital alarm clock.
The blinking colon between the hour and the minute counters violently drummed the seconds of his alcohol induced torment. Chuck’s head bellowed upon waves of whiskey infused headache. How had he managed to drink so much?
More importantly, what happened last night? The evening was a muddled conjecture of missed connections and happy accidents. The late hours of a night’s outing at his local pub usually lead to a booze-infused discussion of politics, religion, and sex, soon obliterated by a cleansing alcohol-fueled memory wipe.
Something prolific, a profound moment, had managed to escape the mental gravity well of his binge. A monolith, no... a person had managed to survive in his memories until his awakening.
Suddenly, a tide of recollection swept over his mind.

What Humans Call LoveI rolled around the cot I lay on, the stiff mattress springs threatening to impale my back. I hadn't had a good night's sleep since the doctors of Valerian's consort had removed the malignant tumors that had grown while Zamara had been present in my mind. Giving up on sleep, I sat up and opened my eyes, greeted by a flawlessly crafted walls hewn of soft, dark stone. Looking around, found a smooth, purple-skinned protoss towering over me. the pale sapphire eyes shone like gemfire in the dim light of the sick bay. I was unfamiliar with the face, but the feminine presence was all too recognizable. "Z-Zamara? Is that really you?" I choked on my words. Clearing my throat, I said, "I thought you were still in that Khaydarin crystal the dark templar downloaded you into. You have a body. H-how can this be? What about Ulrezaj?"
