'When kings clash, the whole land trembles.'

A slightly older piece that I am reworking. into something grander and more elaborate. Just wanted to post this as a kind of first draft.

Arthur later in his life, perhaps before the Battle of Camlann.

Update: Here is a more recent rendition of Arthur: [link]. There are still certain things about this one that I prefer, but it is fun to look back and see how far I've come.

Teutonic knights exercicing Gods's Vengeance.

The Teutonis were a military order which main objective was to free Europe from the pagans. In the year 1409 the pope demanded that the Teutonic knights made an end to the heretic believers in Poland and Lithuania. In the beginning they were very succesfull against these people but in the end the Polish and Lithuanians had such a massive force that they beated the Teutonic knights. They never recovered from this los but they still had a lot of strongholds in the country like the castles at Marienburg and Thorn. In 1410 I believe the war came to an end in favour of the teutonic knights. It was a bit of a suprise because they lost the greatest battle between the forces but in the end they won the war. So far for the history part :) if anything is incorrect just tell me I make mistakes to :)

This is a drawing from a screenshot from the game Medieval total war II Kingdoms. Very good game btw.

I have (at the request of several enthusiastic friends) become completely engrossed in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. My only fear is that as with Harry Potter and Lost: where I was a relative latecomer to the party and able to gorge myself silly on the seemingly endless supply of books/episodes... Inevitably, I will run into the drought that precedes the release of further installments of an unfinished story...and therefore subject to fits of withdrawal and incessant whining. Regardless, it's a world and story that I highly recommend!

Another card for A Game of Thrones LCG, published by FFG. In fact, this is the second version of the card. The first look less medieval and more like a barbarian warrior (without the chainmail and the gloves and with a more luminous sky that gave to the illustration more epic style). But my bosses suggested me to change it and this is the final result :P
