The hatch on top of the papercraft TIE-fighter can open to reveal the interior. Although most of it really just stems from my imagination, I'm very happy with the results! ;o)

Pencil drawing on sketch paper.
I drew this as a gift for my son who likes Star Wars almost as much as I do.
Drawn in 2006.

Oh gosh, Iím so fxcked up now! So sorry, I promised myself Iíd never use bad words again in my art comments, but I have to say it: fxck fxck fxck hahaha! I had a blast last night at my man Karimís, but I should always remember that drinking alcohol in a hot jacuzzi ainít a good match! Unless you wanna be drunk real fast. Thatís what happened to me. The last time that ďcombo I should avoidĒ did hit me, I was in Osaka. I went to a club with my brother and paid for an all-you-can-drink joint (飲み放題). When we left, we were hungry as hell and decided to grab some yakitori in a small izakaya. But I donít know why my bro ordered Japanese sake instead!... Well, it literally killed us and we ended up puking somewhere around DŰtonbori. When we came back home, for an unknown reason, we decided to go to the public bath. And of course, because of the warmth, the alcohol striked back and we were fxcked up for real once again. These are some of my amazing aventures.

Anyway, I told you about Karim. Itís a good coincidence since heís a very big fan of Star Wars. Me too, I do admit. Iím not the type of person who knows everything about George Lucasí universe, but I do like the 6 movies. And come on, being a Jedi must be the shxt isnít it???? Iím a huge fan of Obi-Wan Kenobi in fact, especially in episodes I, II and III. Ewan McGregorís performance is amazing, plus itís a real pleasure to see a young Obi-Wan light sabering some ass. I hope Iíll have the occasion to draw Obi-Wan as a youngster anytime soon.

I watched all the episodes not long ago and it turned me into a Jedi. I wish it was the case hehe. It just motivated me to draw a Star Wars fanart. And another good coincidence: deviantArt organized a ďDraw This AgainĒ contest. Since I already did a Star Wars art years ago, it was the occasion to do an updated version. You can see the original version here: [link]. It was also a way to see if my skills improved with time. I think itís the case ;). I just added Princess Leia in the middle of the pic. Some people told me I drew her with very big boobs. Yes I did. I love them, end of discussion. Since itís my reinterpretation of Star Wars with my manga style, I have the right to do whatever I want right? So If I wanna draw Leia with big boobs, just let me draw her with big boobs.
Ö
Itís amazing how I always find ways to talk about boobs and that kind of stuffs (-_-;). Iím deeply sorry. Anyway, that art name is ďA New HopeĒ since it inspires of Star Wars Episode IV. I wanted to draw Han Solo and Chewbacca as well, but that would be too much. The best solution was to draw the Millennium Falcon, so Han and Chewie are there as well in a certain wayÖ

I think I finally start to find my very own style, especially in coloring with Photoshop. Iím into digital art for 4 years already, but do not forget I have a whole background as a traditional drawer before that. So itís always kinda new to me. Iím used to Photoshop but Iím fascinated by all its possibilities. Theyíre quite infinite. So Iím always getting better in trying stuffs and of course having fun. I think itís important to start with straight traditional art before trying anything with digital art.

Argh, I already wrote too many things!!!! So sorry! But I know nobody reads my art comments hahaha!

Ah yeah, before I go, may the Force be with you!

My new papercraft LEGO Black Knight minifig has more parts than any of the others I made so far, and each one is made from several parts again! ;o)

The most difficult pieces are the "grooves" in the dragon plumes on the helmet, so make sure you score, fold and pre-shape them properly before glueing them together to make things much easier! ;o)

The first test build of the papercraft Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time adult Link (Menu Link) I'm working on: [link]

The guard is a bit tricky, but nothing too difficult if you take the time to properly score and fold all the fold lines.
