Believed or not, this cover was one of the biggest accomplishments in my life. First because I'm the biggest Witchblade Fan. I even talked with Michael Turner once ((RIP) (again, I'm posting a lot of art relative to dead people lately )), he is my hero. Second because having a cover of an important character such as Witchblade from an important comic book company such as TOP COW is probably the wet dream of 99% of the DA community and any artist in general. 3rd because they ALMOST DID NOT publish THIS because it was TOO HOT TO HANDLE, but they did so a victory for the DLOP .
Then I did a bunch of other covers that I don't care at all. This one is the one that counts
Sorry for the crappy photo, the colors are off but still close to the original.
In this WIP I just started coloring the hair. No detail has been done with the paint brush. This is just the airbrushing stage of the hair. 12 hours of airbrushing counting the masking and cutting. Every curl of hair has been cut out and was airbrushed with two colors, an opaque cream pale color for the base and a transparent dark brown for the shadows.
In case you didn't notice this is not digital art. It's Real Art. Psychosomatic Addict Insane. No fear.
If you think I ROCKED SD Comic Con 2012, Next Year I'M GONNA DESTROY IT!
Alice Everyday have always something interesting to say, interesting most Everyday.
A collection of my best sketches from the last 7 years. These are probably the best drawings that I had done. The most beautiful Book that I had printed by far, way out far. The triumph of the female body over society. An Erotic Odyssey.
Cover featuring Miss Mosh and she loves it. Interior art featuring Andi Lyn, Jenny Poussin, Laura Dore, Lisa Love, Veronika Zemanova and many more.
This is not a small format sketch book but a large 68 Pages Book, B&W Perfect Binding. You can appreciate the detail on each art piece.
Limited Edition of 1000 Books, SIGNED & NUMBERED and once they are sold out they will never be reprinted again.
1000 books may sound like a lot but aren't. Two of my previews books are sold out already and the numbers where way up higher. And if you buy it now you will have a Limited Edition Book # lower than #100, which is highly valuable among collectors.
I have put everything in this book so you can have access to my best art. This is a project done with Love, Passion, Blood and Pride. For you.

Every year I draw an Angel, live, for the fans at San Diego Comic Con.
The tradition was broken last year but fortunately I finish this year Angel. Officially is The San Diego Comic Con Angel 2012 but actually is The San Diego Comic Con Angel 2010-2012 because I start it in the 2010 show.
This Angel have so much history behind. So many good and bad memories. But more good ones for sure. It means redemption and vindication for me. One day I may write a book just about this drawing. I'm going to keep it with me because is very special.
The model is the Adorable Andi Lyn and she signed the drawing too, when I finished it in the last day on Comic Con just a few minutes before the end of the show . She was happy to see it finished.
We will see you at San Diego Comic Con 2013
Prints available at my website.

The main 3 steps. You can see the main 3 tools on each frame: Pencil, airbrush, paintbrush in that order.
As you can see the key is the pencil stage which takes like a day of work. The airbrush stage is pretty simple, 25 minutes of work. The brush stage is very easy thanks to the pencil stage, this takes 2 days, I use a #1 fine Sable brush, don't use synthetic brushes, they suck.
It's not that difficult.
The only way to paint hair is to draw and paint each and every single one of them. There's no other way if you wanna make it look like that. I learned that from Sorayama. I used to paint hair like this [link] which is the way that most of the artist do, even the famous ones. I've seen artist trying to do it with the airbrush
Open your mind.
Normal people seen millions of hairs in the human head. The human head have no more than 150,000+ . That's not too much. But if you think that it is impossible to paint all of them you will fail as Luke failed to lift the X-Wing
Here is the thing: You don't need to paint them all . It is not a contradiction of what I just said. If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound?.
The human mind is lazy. If you look at this deviation you may see 150,000 hairs, but there's less than 1000. It's a visual trick . However you still have to do as much as you can.
For me, the more difficult it looks, the more I like it. It's like a challenge. Like the hunter who start with a bunny, and ends with an African elephant. (hunting is awful, it's just an example).
As an artist you were born with a gift that society will try to destroy with mental barriers, through all your life. Don't kill the child on you, keep it hidden .
Model: Adorable Jenny Poussin Please be respectful with the model.
Second of a series of 3 pin-ups that I'm doing in collaboration with the ultra-sexy Jenny Poussin and her project 'Morgana' for San Diego Comic Con 2012. She will be at my booth all day all days and you can get a print signed by her at the show
I did the colors digitally and have fun with it trying to achieve a comic book style, however I don't want to be known as a digital artist, I'm doing it just for the cartoons and comics.
With a lot of influence from the master Masamune Shirow
I hope you like
'StarCandy' is the tittle of one of the tracks of the legendary EBM band Front 242. Jenny loves that band as much as I do.
