She was standing there on the platform about thirty feet away from me, and as I looked over I saw the brown-haired man who was standing next to her on the platform let go of her hand, lightly kiss her cheek, then retreat backwards towards the next train doors with a wide grin on his face. The girl herself had long blonde hair, not a seemingly fake bleached-blonde type, but a slightly darker, more natural shade. Her skin tone was slightly lighter than my own, and her complexion seemed faultless. No blemishes or imperfections in sight.
She wore a white summer dress which flowed down to just above her knees, accentuated with a pattern of little red roses going down the sides and along the bottom, and a red cardigan with the bottom button fastened. She wore little red ballet pumps with red bows on her feet, and carried a matching red handbag, which she had been holding protectively with both hands since one was released b

Julianne led me to my classroom and dropped me off at the door, then smiled at me.
"If you want, I can meet you outside here when this period finishes and I can show you around the building at break "
"Um sure, that'd be great thanks " I replied, giving her a smile back, and she hugged me then walked off to wherever she was going for her class. I huffed and glanced at the door to the room, then at my charm bracelet and held onto it tightly as I walked inside.
When I opened the door and stepped inside, I closed it gently behind me. Thankfully, the teacher hadn't gotten there yet, and because of that, everyone inside the classroom was still talking and payed no attention to me as I entered. Being the centre of attention was something I'd never been completely comfortable with, and that was something that being new at school made me worry about. But so far, it kind of looked like I would be able to just blend in and join the crowd without any hassle.

Stepping out of the car and tossing my bag over my shoulder, I looked back to see my dad smiling giving me a warm smile from the driver's side.
"And you're sure you've got everything you need? Pencils, pens, money?"
"Yes, Dad I'm sixteen, not six. I've been to school before." I laughed softly, and he rolled his eyes, still smiling. "Anyway I'm fine. I'll see you at three thirty. I love you." I said and quickly leaned back into the car to peck his cheek lightly, then shut the car door and watched him drive off.
Once the car had gone around the corner, I turned to look at my new school. A large browny-reddish building with other similar-looking buildings added onto it, probably from later renovations. There was a bike and car park on the left hand side of the buildings, and the rest of the front was covered in grass, with picnic benches and trees scattered amongst it all, with a path leading up some steps to the front entrance. The grass area was covered in people

I sighed, unloading my bags out of the boot of the car as the moving van pulled up behind us. As the men inside the van got out and started to take out the furniture from the back, I wiped at my still slightly tearstained eyes and dropped them down onto the pavement a few moments later.
"I call first dibs on the bedrooms!" Rayna's voice yelled from somewhere behind me, and I felt my sister roughly push me to the side as she made her way quickly from the car to our new home, causing me to stumble slightly before falling down onto the pavement in front of me. It didn't hurt, thank God, but it gave me a little shock and left me slightly dazed and confused as I dusted off my jeans and stood up. As I did so, I looked down and my eyes lingered on the small silver charm bracelet around my right wrist. It belonged to Amber, originally. Her mom had given it to me a few days after Amber died, telling me that i

"Come ON it'll be FUN, Vi " Amber squealed, lowering her head down slightly to my ears in order to be heard over the blaring music surrounding us.
"No way, Am. Have you seen how wasted those guys are? Letting them drive us home would be practically begging God to kill us." I said as sternly as I could manage, but a small smile still managed to creep it's way onto my face. I could attempt to be mad at Amber as much as I liked, but she always managed to see right through it. That was why we were best friends she could tell exactly how I was feeling, no matter how hard I tried to hide it. It had it's benefits, but it also had it's disadvantages. One of which being times like right now.
"Hey, that's not fair they're no more drunk than you or me " She pouted, flipping her long dark curls over her shoulder and stumbling slightly as she did so. That was the problem with Amber she had no ability to realise when enough was en
