I eventually awaken to the sight of my darkened bedroom. The curtains are open a crack, and faint moonlight spills through the gap. Wait, moonlight? The sun’s set already?! I sit up, duvet still rapped around me to protect me from the cold of my apartment. That’s one problem with this apartment; a lack of double glazing windows and student income means in the evenings, and the central heating is turned off to save money, it can get very cold very quickly. Does that mean I’ve slept all the way through the afternoon? I glance at my alarm clock; display reading 19:05. I’ve slept for 5 hours?! Dammit! I lie back on the bed, rubbing my eyes to rid them of sleep. I might as well get myself something to eat, I think with a sigh, pulling myself back up into a sitting position. My body protests, wanting only for me to fall back asleep, despite the 5 hours of rest I’ve already had. Why am I so tired? I wonder; I could quite easily

I stare at the box before me, anticipation flowing through my veins, making it a challenge to even stand still. I’ve been waiting for this package for nearly two months; and now, the night before Halloween, it finally arrives. Seriously, I’d been wondering whether it’d get here on time for the costume party tomorrow, or if I’d just spent $300 on something that I wouldn’t be able to wear for another year. I’ve really wanted to go to this costume party, partly because everyone I know is going to be there, and secondly because there is a big costume competition; whoever has the best costume receives $500! That’s not something to be ignored. The party is being held at some rich girl’s house on the opposite side of town; I don’t really know her myself, but she’s inviting everyone who goes to the same college as her. That includes me, as well as about 800 or so other people if they choose to. However, now the costume’s here, I

"Somebody better have a good explanation for what just happened here!" said Mr. Denzen furiously. A vein in his forehead was known to bulge when he got especially angry, and it was doing exactly that right now.
A short, slinder boy with thick glasses who couldn't have been more than 30 jogged over to Denzen after looking at a computer monitor.
"Umm, sir, if you come this way, I can explain everything."
Denzen walked towards the computer monitor, and as he did, the boy, whose name was Jake, explained the situation.
"Well, sir, as you know, Oscorp has been developing a super suit based on the symbiotes."
Denzen nodded. By this time they were near the computer monitor. Jake sat down and typed something in quickly, and a graphic popped up on the computer. It displayed a featureless man rotating 360 degrees to show every angle.
"We took samples from every symbiote currently still with us, and well as a few samples we had in storage of oth

The symbiote flew through the air duct, latching on its metal surrounding as fast as it could, with only one thought on its mind: freedom. The problem was it couldn't tell which exit was the right one. It traveled further and further down the vent, but couldn't see a way out. However, it did eventually come upon a deserted office in the Oscorp building. And best of all, it was facing a window.
The symbiote dropped down, and moved slowly towards the window. It pressed itself against the slightest crack in the window, and after some time, it was completely outside the Oscorp building, sticking to the window, and 80 stories up.
Slowly but surely, in the dead of night in Manhattan, it made it's way down the building. When it reached the bottom, it positioned itself in a alleyway next to the Oscorp building. It hid behind a trash dumpster, and began to contemplate its next move.
Several hours later...
The rain had started early tha

It was a night like any other in New York City. The genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist himself, Tony Stark, was taking a late night flight in his Iron Man suit to test out a few alterations he had made to the suit’s flight capabilities. He soared across New York, staying at about the same level as most of the buildings that dotted the streets of the city.
Tony stopped in his wake when a high-pitched scream caught his attention.
“You hear that JARVIS?”
Of course, any normal person would not have been able to hear the scream over the din of the bustling city, but the suit allowed him to possess senses that greatly surpassed that of any human.
“Yes, sir, I’m afraid so,” the robotic voice sounded in Tony’s ear.
“Please! Somebody… help!” a woman's voice cried helplessly.
“JARVIS, zoom in on the streets.” Automatically, Tony’s vision of the streets be

Dennis peered over from his table and glared at the girl on the other side of the food court. There she was, Brittney Henders, the most popular girl at school and Dennis's worst enemy. See, Dennis was but an average freshman at school. Brittney was a senior and possibly the most popular and most beautiful student at the same school. She was also a total bit-Oh crap, she was coming closer.
"Hello there, nerd," she greets him with.
"He-Hello Brittney," Dennis replied.
"What do you think you were doing staring at me like that over there?" She asked shrewdly.
"Don't lie to me! I saw you eyeing me!" Brittney then proceeded to take the Coke Dennis was drinking and poured it down his shirt.
"Ahh!" Dennis yelped. "What the hell was that for?!"
"For staring at me, you idiot!" She then took out her iPhone and snapped a picture of the soaked freshman before running off laughing.
Dennis just stood there getting as much napkins as was legal to try to clean himself of the soda. He eventu

Mary Jane and Jake walked over to an elevator, and Jake pressed a button for the floor he wanted. They began ascending the building, and soon enough, the doors opened and Jake asked MJ to follow him. The floor was mostly empty, and appeared to be a storage space, filled with boxes and crates.
After walking for several minutes, Jake walked over to one of the crates, and pulled out a massive metal gun.
"What in the world is that, Jake?" MJ asked, curiously.
Jake grinned. "This is the legacy of my work in the symbiotic defenses unit. We call it an S-Disruptor. It's harmless to most anything or anyone.."
Jake fired it at an empty space of wall, and MJ heard a loud explosion, some dust, but no damage, no explosion, nothing charred or blackened by the impact.
"Anything or anyone, except a symbiote. You see, using the biological functions of the symbiote, we created a modified virus that is harmless to any or

Ive been feeling awful the past few days now, its only getting worse and worse. I could feel a bone in my hand popping. I looked down and it looked fine to me. I still had the ring that my ex-boyfriend had given to me before we separated on, and it was always painful to look at, but I couldnt take it off. I looked down at my feet and realized that they were getting very tight and constrained, and it was starting to hurt really badly. Oww I said softly as I scooted back to try to get them off before they burst. The strain was so tight that it actually felt like my feet were getting bigger and more rounded. The pain grew and grew until I couldnt take it anymore and I tried racing to get the shoes off. Suddenly my right hand started twitching anCat TF 25 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

***As I awoke from my sleep, I didnt find myself in my bed nor in the position I was in before I slept. Instead, I was lying on my back looking upward at the glass dome with the sun shining from its angle having my right arm across my forehead; as I turned my head, I seen this scientist preparing something: wasnt too sure what it was; I was curious to find out but, I was reminded of the event in the vat so I grew nervous. When I sat up, I felt a bit weak, still seeing the scientist occupied with their work I started to look around the room for a way out. As I did, I seen that this room was unlike the one I was in. Through the glass wall I seen a lot of colorful plant life thriving within added that there was a big fountain in the center of the plants. As it sprayed, its mist flowed into the air; as it did, the suns light was bending within it making a rainbow. I was quite allured by this, still looking around;

Alison sat there at the island in the kitchen holding a shallow glass filled to the brim with rocks and some sort of piss water passed off for whiskey staring into a mask. It was from her boyfriend Todd and had just been dropped off by a local courier no more the ten or so lonely minutes ago. It had a note attached to from Todd apologizing that he couldn't make it to her company’s annual masquerade.
She wasn’t so much mad that her best red lipstick luscious cocktail dress was rotting there with a glass of whiskey instead of a cocktail. She wasn’t so much mad at the fact that Todd had picked this ugly hunk of wood as his mask to wear to tonight’s event, or the fact that the mask didn't have a strap, a stick, even a damn zipper, to hold it to his face. No she was mad that all the nights he chose to ditch her for the bar and that local sports team it had to be this night. Three years they had been together and two of those three he had made it
