Nothing else exists. What would a Winner do?
Today you will pick up that boring and tedious job/assignment and you will finish it.
If it's too much stress, take a 1hour break every hour to recover. Exercise, play a game, eat, shake your fists at the sky and scream. Then get back to it. Set an alarm.
I don't care if it takes 20minutes or 12hours.
Today you will get it done.
Pain is only temporary IF you keep pushing.
Today, no other troubles exist. There is that one job, nothing else.
No debt, no sad feelings, just the job.
Tomorrow, you pick another problem and you fix it with the same focus. Forget everything else. Nothing else exists.
PM for details.
Her Forest Friend.Let me tell you a story. A story that is rather like stories you read in a book. The only difference being that my story is true and all those others are lies. Lies neatly written by fearful parents so as to ward their babies away from the forest. You see, the forest is filled with bad things. Wolves who want to eat you up. Witches who also want to eat you up. All sorts of things lie beyond the brush line that, oddly enough, want to eat you up. However, there are creatures in the forest that do not want to eat you up and those are the creatures that are almost always forgotten about. Her Forest Friend.2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I will tell you a happier tale. It begins so bitterly unhappy but I promise it will get better.
There was a small girl, once upon a time, that lived with her father and mother in a tiny cottage very close to the edge of the forest. Every day when she went outside to play her mother would call out to her to remember the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Well, that little girl knew the story very well indeed
playlist has run dryHey all. Anyone got music to rec? Lately my playlist has been lacking new stuff and as a result I'm finding it harder to draw things (music is essential for me...)playlist has run dry1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I technically listen to anything but I tend to lean towards industrial, hard rock, metal, electronic.. but I also like soft ambient stuff, house/trance, and soundtracks of course. The only things that I'm not really into is asian pop and country (with a few exceptions though).
But whatever, if you like something, throw it at me!
Thanks for all the responses! Going through them now.
Life, and stuff.Dreaming and imagining things aren't some vain form of entertainment to be regarded as unlikely events, they're necessary tools for self-improvement which in turn will improve your surroundings.Life, and stuff.2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Life is a reflection of self. How can you expect an amazing life if you're just sat at home playing MMO's or getting drunk? Become amazing, and life will be amazing.
Demand the same from yourself, as you demand from every aspect of your life.
Yes, it takes time. A study said it takes 10'000 hours of practice to master any given field.
If you include sleep, that's 1½years. Let's say you have a job or some other day time activity, you're looking at around 3-5years.
So the question is; Is the rest of your life worth 3-5years of dedicated practice? Of not partying every damn friday?
How many years have you spent playing games or working at a dead-end job? I'm sure you've mastered something in your life already, wasn't so hard was it? You just did it, you felt like you had to, like it was part
