Superheroes on the Game Grid part 2"Now what do we do?" Lora whispered to Jane.
"Find another way out?" Alan suggested.
"As a matter of fact, that was my plan B," Jane moved towards the TV once more.
She showed Lora some pictures of what resembled a military tank, and said that with these pictures, she'll be able to turn into one of the tanks to sneak past the guards and ambush Malakai. The hard part would be the shape-shifting process since they'd all have to jump off the deck Jane's apartment has, and Lora would have to envelop her and Alan in this process.
Nonetheless, the Jett siblings and Bubblegum Jane rushed through a holographic barrier to an outside balcony and waited at its low railing. One of them could hear the elevator going down, presumably to bring the guards back up.
Jane said she would jump first, counted, "3...2...1," and leaped from the 15-story-high balcony. Alan and her sister held hands, and jumped simultaneously. Then Lora Jett let go, concentrated hard on what she'd just seen on the TV, and in 17
History of SpireFrom what we know in Myst IV: Revelation, Atrus had believed his Prison Age of Spire to be completely uninhabited from the beginning. I, for one, disagree with that belief. The broken stone palaces look much too intricate to have been there without people to have constructed them in the past. Sirrus believed that there was a violent, xenophoboic civilization as well. Perhaps they were, but also highly intelligent. Whatever the case may be, these points were supported by my constant interest in what those rock palaces would have looked like intact, and possibly inhabited. So, I have written a short story detailing the Age of Spire before Atrus linked to it.History of Spire2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Too long ago to recount, a group of humanoid beings appeared on the world of Spire by unknown means. By then, Spire was no more than floating gargantuan masses of rock and crystal sitting in two thick layers of thunderclouds. Thankfully, these humanoids were endowed with enough intellect to construct a series of palaces from th

Author's note: For the confused, this story takes place before Finn discovers Flame Princess, and after Princess Bubblegum returns to 18 years old.
The sun was rising over the ever-sweet country of Candy Land, and the residents were preparing themselves for another great day. Plumpy set about tending his gingerbread plum trees, picking off which plums were ripe and pruning unnecessary branches; Jolly and his miners chiseled away in the Gumdrop Mountains, searching for gumdrops of the highest quality, and Grandma Nutt worked her best to maintain her peanut brittle cottage.
But, a few of the royal members of this country somehow felt that this day in particular would be different, in a way they could not describe. In fact, some of the usually cheery inhabitants felt saddened. One such, Queen Frostine, could not help but stare beyond her usually magnificent Ice Cream Sea,

Composed by Greg Marshall,
Also known as "Agent G".
I remember the days when Atrus was alive. He, his friend, codenamed "The Stranger", and later Yeesha, showed me wonderful things. But none caught my attention than the Ages of Ahnonay and Kadish Tolesa.
Yeesha, so I was told, once met the man who wrote both of those Ages: Guildmaster Kadish. He was a member of the D'ni Guild of Writers, but dismissed for unknown reasons. Kadish tried to commit suicide by locking himself in his own treasure vault at the time of D'ni's fall, but then Yeesha altered time, and saved him.
I was now preparing to visit those ages, as I was not satisfied with the Age of Ahnonay. Giving the illusion of time travel, he had a Ferris-wheel-style machine of 4 spheres, but only 3 were in working order. The 4th was still under construction, and was never finished.
Well, I decided it was time to get that fixed. I was a millionaire after all, so helping the D'ni fix something would be a snap.

"Oh, I wonder who could it be?" said Vixen to herself as she went to open the door.
When she opened it, she saw a guy in blue clothes and spiky hair, holding a box.
"Welcome, Sergio." said Vixen "What are you doing here?"
"Well, I got the suit I told you about and, since you were very eager to try it, I decided to come over." explained Sergio as he gave the box to Vixen.
"Perfect!" said Vixen cheerfuly.
"I've also brought my camera to take pictures of it for your gallery." continued Sergio as he showed up a digital camera.
"Mm-hm." replied Vixen with a nod "Come in! We'll take them in my living room."
Vixen and Sergio went to the living room and pushed around the furniture to have enough space for the pictures. Then, Vixen opened the box and took out what was inside: A pink-colored rubber suit, latex gloves and socks (Also pink) and what seemed to be a battery-powered pump.
Vixen hummed in
Early Bedtime"Sophie, which color do you like better?"Early Bedtime2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Sophie turned. Denice stood before her, dangling a pair of color swatches, one burgundy and the other mahogany. On seeing her friend's attention return, she held the two swatches up to the couch she was looking at, hoping to get some kind of reaction.
"I-I don't know, Denice," Sophie responded, biting the tip of her thumb. "They both look good, I think..."
Denice sighed. "Sophie, I brought you along to help get some furniture for my new apartment because I expected you to contribute a little bit."
Other consumers poked by as they talked, browsing the massive selection. The two girls were standing in the miles-long showroom of one of the largest furniture stores in the country. They manufactured, distributed, and sold from the same location - people came halfway across the state for the incredible selection and warehouse pricing, and that went for Denice as well.
Sophie, on the other hand, felt useless here. She didn't know anything about design

AKA Agent G
>>Continuing from "The Statue"...
Note: Even if some people in this story are D'ni, their words will always be read out in English.
At 7:31 PM, according to my watch, I awoke, with the D'ni Guild of Stonemasons at my side.
"Hey, friend, it's done. Come look," Guild Master Kadish softly said to me.
As I stood up, with the help of some of the Guild Members, I was amazed at what stood before me:
The statue was now complete;
The ceiling was painted so brightly, that it seemed to be glowing, compared to the real light in the very top center, and seemed to depict a city in the clouds, its buildings familiar from the first sphere I saw;
The island looked like a real stone formation, etched with recognizable patterns;
The bottom of the sphere looked like it had a cloudy mist below, further emphasizing the heavenly vista;
Columns at intervals along the island were engraved with English and D'ni sentences, one such reading "I am Kadish"
