100 Themes Challenge, #98 "Puzzle"

Why are adult villains in games always shocked in this situation? I don't care if you're Methuselah, if your monster of choice is a foot-tall worm and you go up against a ten-year-old girl with a 28-FOOT ROCK MONSTER, you're going to lose. No matter how many butt-spikes your worm has.

None of this is exactly to scale, but I'm fairly certain that it gets the point across. Bet nobody knew I could draw Pokémon.

Yay! Not even sure if I'm going to take the effort to enter this, I just feel so dang blaaaah. :holds head: Anyway, this is another one for Lindsey, using the Silly Superhero Names generator, and out of about 30 possibles, Linds chose "Song Farter". We sketched it out while I was still over there--and if I can just find the book it's marking my place in, then I'll scan it....

Song Farter has a partner, his name is Buff Tempest, but I don't think I can draw him, buff guys are not something I feel like drawing.

Still futzing around with water colors, this time without linarts...

How I love him. He never says anything, but everyone in whatever village he happens to live in just inevitably have to adore this guy. For those who don't know who he is--and that's almost 100% guaranteed to be everyone here I actually know--this is my Isaac (name varies), he's a famer who works hard to restore his grandfather's farm, befriend the townspeople, and get married. He's a big sweetheart, wins everyone over with gifts and doing nice things. The speech bubble is a video game reference, just imagine the little arrow blinking, 'kay? Not gonna actually animate it.

I do not remember why I suddenly wanted to draw him. Fanart isn't exactly my thing. But I was reading ~Hagge's current journal and thinking about different styles. This one is still mine--but it was inspired by some official art from Victor Interactive. His hands are completely messed up.

....REALLY REAALLY needed to draw this. Couple hours in Painter 9 and I'm feeling okay in my head again. Mostly.

And because I have to say it ---- "Natsume. Serious fun."

This took me a few hours to draw, and remember how to make play and replay buttons. Characters are Chopstick McGee (the girl) and Dead Guy Jones (the possessed doll) from my wip comic Rice in the Afterlife. Was a lot of fun and turned out surprisingly well.

Finally done. The background was just Painter effects, but I had fun with it anyway. Now I need to save up and buy fleece and buttons so I can make these hats.

I swear I uploaded this, but then again I guess not. This was...gosh three four, maybe even six years back I did this? When I was planning on making my own website. Some gave me the concept and said I should make a site with my little character as a wind up doll. ( Though it reminds me so much of the little wind up marios.)

I might work on this again to try and give it a slicker look for the interface.
