When the skies are devoured by earth, the hell rises upon.

...and God has abandoned us.

Landscape painting for practice, after getting so inspired by `balaa 's speedpaint of "light" in dark towers/environment. Woman, thanks being so much inspiring <333. I plan do traditional painting version of it.

Edit: thank you very much for comments ^_^ however i'd like to kindly ask to refrain from commenting "it reminds from lotr", "omg its lotr" since almost all comment are all about it. I had no intention or any thought to draw it from lotr or be inspired from it (even im not fan of it really and havent watched it since i was little so i barely remember of it). Since my intention of this piece has nothing with lotr but just my imagination ( i know in general this concept is very common) and my awkward landscape practice: i'd be very happy to her any feedback ^_^. Critique, encouragment and how do you like it so far.. Ive been dreaming to be landscape artist so any feedback would mean a lot for me <3
But one day i will rewatch lotr and paint real lotr inspired fanart/concept for you guys!

Looking for some inspiration today. How often it seems I leave this world in my mind when looking for a creative spark!

"An outpost near a large water fall - re-supplying a transport vessel"

This took me about 120-125 minutes or so so there are some decent details here and there! :)

Yet another version of "Picnic Lakes"

This time it's a hyper realistic version of the original. No tonemapping involved this time.

Also I put the blown out sky back in.

Enjoy
