CREAM OR SUGAR?A little preamble before you read this.
This is for greenmamba5 art exchange meme (link below). I promised to write this for her in exchange for her absolutely wonderful, awesome sketch (link below). She gave me the scenario of Garrus & Sol sibling rivalry and this is what I came up with.
Thank you very much to Ashynioki for beta'ing for me - can't very well have my own Beta read something that's meant for her!
Also, Thank you very much to Mizutanitony & Ashynioki for helping me develop the story.
Okay.. enough talk! READ! As always, feedback is much appreciated.

He arrived at the C-Sec office to find Chellick already occupying his half of their large desk. They had only been with C-Sec for about a month and Garrus was already beginning to find it a bore. He regretted listening to Chellick talk endlessly about how great it would be to work on the Citadel. They had spent the last 3 years of Basic together and become good friends. Even though it was clear that Ga

Garrus stared into her eyes amazed at the beautiful woman in front of him. He took her hand in his and led them over to the bed. Along the way he noticed the freshly used syringe on the desk - she had already taken her serum. Garrus sat down in the center of the bed and guided Shepard to sit down in front of him; cross-legged and facing him. He took off his shirt and then scooted his body closer to her; intertwining his legs with hers. He wrapped one arm around her waist and placed his other hand over her heart. She embraced him the same way in return.
"Take deep breaths and let go of any tension," he said.
She did as he instructed and locked eyes with him as she did so.
"Allow the energy to build and flow between us," he said softly as his blue eyes seemed to be looking into the depths of her soul. "Take another deep breath and as you exhale - let go of any anger, any resentment, any negative feeling you may

Wow, an actual easy mission this time, Shepard thought as she entered the geth's virtual world alone.
Geth fighter squadrons had targeted quarian liveships with attacks that would have a serious impact on their fleet. Shepard, along with the help of Legion and Garrus, had gone to the Geth Comm Hub on Rannoch to disable the server controlling the geth fighters.
Shepard followed the virtual path, disrupting the Reaper code infections along the way and making it to her first data cluster. She cleared out the cluster and then a new path was revealed that led her to the next cluster. She repeated this pattern a few more times until she had finally cleared out all infections. Then she made her way to the access point to exit the virtual world and back to reality where her squad was waiting for her.
Shepard was curious to see what her actions had done as she exited the virtual chamber. Sudd

'Bubble-head' the waiter finally brought the Jello shots to the table. He dropped the tray on the table in disdain and walked away before Joker could let another one of his scintillating wisecracks rip. If those shots weren't jello, most of them would have been dripping off the table. Each of them took a shot glass except for Mordin, who by this point, was softly snoring on the table.
Garrus paused, "Wait "
Karin looked over at the Turian, eyebrow raised.
"What kind of liquor is in this?" he asked, the Manhattan still fresh in his memory.
"Uhmmm," she thought for a moment, her mind a little hazy from the shots she already had before Garrus arrived. "I believe its tequila."
"Te what?" he stumbled over the word.
"Te key la," she repeated, emphasizing the name phonetically.
He studied the small shot glass. It was cold to the touch, as he expected. He brought it to his nose and sniffed. It didn't really smell like anything, at least

"She loves you Garrus. She loves you more than she knows." Hannah's words echoed in his head. The sounds of the bar faded out. The conversations and laughter, the music, the sound of the glasses clinking on tables he couldn't hear any of it. He was too stunned, paralyzed by what she had said to respond. As she walked out of the bar, he wanted to go after her and drag her back, make her explain how she could know so much based on so little.
Slowly his eyes began to focus and the sounds of the bar registered once more. He looked down at his hand and realized that he was holding Hannah's drink. He brought it eyelevel and examined its contents. Ice in a drink with fruit - who puts fruit in a drink?? He brought it to his nose and sniffed it. Though the music served only as ambiance for the bar to further its Earthy appeal, the melody she heard was unmistakable. She would've recognized her father's playing anywhere. This particular one was his rendition of one of his favorite jazz compilations. Several different melodies blending into one another, each one highlighted for about a minute before he moved on to the next one. The music sparked random memories from her childhood, mostly of their lessons together and a few of dancing with her mother in their small cabin.
Self-doubt creeping in, she dropped behind her mother and Anderson, beginning to wonder if this was such a good idea after all. It had been so very long since she touched a piano. She didn't even know if she could remember how to play.
" I don't know mom," Sera said hesitantly.
Hannah led them to one of the common areas just off the entrance of the bar and waited until there was a lull in the passers-by before speaking. She thought for a m

Okay so this is my one-shot that I did for greenmamba5's art trade meme. This is the scenario that she gave me:
Garrus and his dad don't really like the idea of Chellick being with Solana. For Garrus it might be understandable (because he knows Chell's faults since they worked together), but Chellick's actually a nice guy so why doesn't Dad like him?
I'm thinking there was a misunderstanding of some sort that made Papa think Chellick wasn't fit to date his little girl.
Title: A Drink, A Drug and A Lick
Garrus and Chellick slinked out of Pallin's office. The rest of the officers on duty gave them both a wide berth; talking and snickering amongst each other. It was no secret that the pair was a notoriously infamous pain the in ass for Executor Pallin. Every time the two turian Detectives went into the Executor's office, it was pretty much guaranteed that the rest of the office got a live audio play-by-play of the duo's latest antics.
Ante Up Chapter 28: Citadel part 2After showering, Garrus and Shepard returned to the mess for quick breakfast. Victus was no longer there, his seat occupied instead by Broccha. Across from him, Kanna was wolfing down oatmeal like it was going out of style. Liara was beside her with a bowl of her own.Ante Up Chapter 28: Citadel part 23 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Garrus broke off to stand by Kanna while Shepard continued on to find herself something to eat. He laid a hand on top of her head, grinning. "Sleep well?"
She smiled up at him and gave an affirmative hum around her mouthful of oatmeal. She swallowed loudly and said, "Miss Liara sang to me like Mama used to."
"Did she?" Garrus chirped, smirking at the older asari. Liara frowned back at him, her cheeks flushing purple, as Shepard joined them at the table.
"Sounds like we should tell Dr. Chakwas that she isn't the only unofficial mom on the Normandy," Shepard teased, handing Garrus a dextro protein bar and tearing into her own levo-bar.
"Very funny," Liara muttered, chomping onto a spoonful of oatmeal with a huff.
Two Turians and a KeeperGarrus and Chellick were busy reviewing footage at their desks into the late hours of the evening. They were working on a case together involving suspicious cargo that was being run through the Citadel. All ships docking were legitimate which meant that when they finally pinpointed the ship, either the entire crew was "dirty" or they had an extremely shady crew member that was very good at hiding his illegal activities. In any case, they had to pinpoint what ship, or ships, the cargo was coming from and this was proving to be quite the task. They reviewed hundreds of tapes from the course of a few months, watching every ship dock, watching every crate that exited, checking the docking records to make sure everything matched up. So far, they had turned up nothing. Two Turians and a Keeper3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
"I can't look at any more footage," sighed Chellick. "It's late; let's just pick this back up tomorrow."

On her first night together with Garrus, Shepard had been mildly concerned about the talons that she knew turians possessed. She trusted Garrus with all of her heart and knew that he never intentionally harm her, but there was that instinctual distrust of sharp claws near her softer human flesh. Of course she had been thinking of entirely different things by the time that evening reached the stage where his gloves came off, and then she didn't' have the luxury to think about minor details until after they had blow the Collector base to bits.
Being under house arrest had given her more than enough time to think, and Garrus was one of the happy memories she had she to stave on the crushing boredom. One of the questions those memories brought up was if turian anatomy charts and Alliance descriptions of turian talons as 'vicious natural weapons' were overly exaggerated or if Garrus had blunted his just for her.

Garrus had gone five rounds on the hardest setting of the VI combat training program and yet felt no difference in the level of hostility that had overtaken his body. He was on his sixth round and was too busy imagining Kaidan as his opponent to notice that his father had entered the room. Artus stood silently in the corner observing his son; something was definitely bothering him. Garrus finally felt the presence of his father and quickly turned his head to the side to view him.
"What's got you so aggravated?" Artus asked as he took a seat on a nearby bench.
"Nothing, just keeping my combat skills sharp," Garrus replied catching his breath as he walked over and joined his father on the bench.
"You're not a good liar, son. What's going on? Something with Shepard?"
"No yes I mean, sort of," Garrus sighed. "Major Kaidan Alenko. I've told you some stories that involved him from back in the da

"To what do I owe the pleasure, Miss Lawson?" Shepard greeted tersely.
Miranda glanced up at her from under heavy eyelids--god, she looked exhausted. "Shepard, I... I wanted to apologize. After everything we'd been through... I realize you must still be angry."
"Angry? No, not really," Shepard said coolly.
Miranda didn't buy it. "I had to think of my sister, Shepard. If it had only been my life on the line... fine, I'd have gone. But, for Oriana's sake, I can't take unnecessary risks. She depends on me."
"Yeah, and lucky for Solana, she has a sibling looking out for her, too," Shepard snapped. Miranda's head drooped again, and Shepard let the argument wane. "So, what's the Illusive Man want? I'm assuming he sent you."
"He didn't," Miranda said. "He won't. Never aga

"Dad, I'm fine," Sol groaned. "It just burned out my shields."
"Your armor is scorched," Aetius argued. "It did more than bypass your shields."
"Where's Mom?" Sol dodged.
"She stayed in the cockpit with Moreau," he said. "We could hear you over the comm. The way you were screaming, I expected you to be worse off. I'm sure your mother didn't want to see you hurt."
"That synthetic hit me with with an incendiary blast," Sol explained, pointing toward Vega, who adjusted the synthetic on his shoulder as he waited for the elevator to return, "but I think it was only trying to knock me off. It wasn't a very powerful shot, just, ah... got a little hot for a second." He didn't look any less worried. "I'm going to go let Mom know I'm okay."

"Nekheny," they'd called her, the living weapon of the asari mercenary group Eye of Athame. She'd made quite a name for herself, slaughtering entire platoons single-handedly, and had garnered the attention of several of the Primarchs. Palaven and Invictus' primarchs had been particularly concerned about her.
However, seeing her detained and secluded at the edge of the camp, Aetius isn't entirely sure what great threat she poses. Small, cinnamon-plated, and unable to communicate, she'd seems more like a tiny, feral animal than an intimidating tool of war. Of course, it had taken both Aetius and Venari t

CHAPTER 16: CARRY ME HOME
He glanced at the wall behind the large table in the back of the bar and understood what she meant. Pool He vaguely recalled watching some of the humans playing it earlier but really didn't take much notice. Now, he was sorry he didn't.
He walked over to the wall and blankly stared at all of the poles that lined it, unsure how to choose one. Shepard watched him with amusement for a couple minutes before joining him. She plucked one from the wall. Holding it in one hand about a third from the base, she balanced it, testing its weight. Satisfied, she set it on its base and leaned it against the wall. He watched her from the corner of his eye and when she walked away, he did the same thing. After selecting one he thought was acceptable, he dropped it on its base and leaned on it, watching her round up the funny looking round balls he'd seen earlier.
After racking the balls up she looked over at him, keenly aware that he was watching her every move.

Garrus and Solana watched as the trio exited the restaurant and paused just beyond the entry to exchange a few words. Once they had finished talking, Sera walked toward the shops while her mother and Anderson headed toward the Embassies. This was Garrus' chance to have a conversation with Anderson and he wasn’t going to let it go to waste. Solana knew the look on her brother’s face too well: his eyes pinpointed in thought, mandibles tight against his jaw and his subvocals humming the thoughts in his head. She sighed and sat back in her chair. The look in his eyes said it all and she simply nodded as he got up from the table, his intent clear. The questions she had would have to wait, but she fully intended on interrogating him the first chance she got.
“I’m sorry, Solana, but I really have to go,” he apologized.
“I know,” she said simply. You owe me.
He nodded, Thank
