When they found a clear spot on the dance floor, the man glanced at the couples
nearby. He looked down at Elle and placed both hands on her waist. Elle put hers on his
shoulders, and together they swayed from side to side with the music. It was awkward at
first: the man kept glancing at the various couples surrounding them, and Elle had no
idea what to say if she was even supposed to say anything at all.
Suddenly, the man said, "I don't feel comfortable like this."
"Wha?" Elle was taken aback. Was that an insult? Before she coul
Elle and Mias: Chapter 3The clear morning transitioned into a cloudy grey afternoon with a chill wind that held a distant promise of rain. Elle sat in a chair looking out the window, her thoughts focused on just how she should make her escape. While it would be in her advantage to wait until nightfall, she didn't know these lands and not being able to see properly would surely get her lost.Elle and Mias: Chapter 33 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Instead, she'd wait until it started raining so any tracks she made would be washed away. She'd repel down the side of the building using the bed sheets tied together and then run as fast as she could away from this place. Not an entirely complicated plan, but simplicity often proved to be far more useful. Now all Elle needed was nature's cooperation.
"Elle," she heard from outside her door before it opened and Mias leaned his head in. "Might you be interested in a tour of my lovely abode?"
"Come now, staring out a window for hours on end is hardly entertaining." He strode into the room and approached her side. "Avoi

Elle rounded the corner and leaned against the doorframe of the break room.
Crossing the threshold, she slid her time card through the machine, which sounded a
satisfying beep. That was the sweet sound of officially being off the clock. When she got
accepted for the job, Elle thought it would be a dream to go to class and work part-time
at a bookshop. However, Elle forgot about the rest of the assholes that existed in the
world that made customer service such a shitty job field to work in.
'Now, now, Elle. Watch your language. You wouldn't want people to think that
you're unladylike,' E
Elle and Mias: Chapter 4Elle awoke the next morning pleasantly refreshed. Though her lungs still stung from breathing heavily in the cold air, it was the price of freedom and it was worth every raspy breath. She sat up and yawned, stretching her arms up the quilts fell from her body and it was then Elle realized she was naked. Well, she still had her underwear on, but other than that she was bare skinned.Elle and Mias: Chapter 43 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
She heard the light clinking of china and slowly turned her head to see Abernos standing with a tray of food and tea. His eyes were wide and his mouth was slightly agape with a tomato red blush on his cheeks.
"EEK!" Elle shrieked and pulled the covers back up over her body.
Abernos cried out too and quickly turned himself around. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to stare!"
"W-Where are my clothes?" Elle blushed.
"Th-They were soaked so we took them off and hung them up to dry near the fire. They should be dry by now." Abernos set the tray down and crab walked over to the fireplace in the corner of the small room. O
Elle and Mias: Chapter 21They arrived back at Mias' manor roughly two hours later. The sun had already dipped behind the hillside and shadows were growing as the three climbed out of the coach.Elle and Mias: Chapter 213 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Your hair smells nice~," Abernos said in a rather high voice as Mias reluctantly carried the Stag out on his back.
Mias grit his teeth, wanting oh so badly to drop Abernos on his tailed behind, but dared not to while Elle had her eyes on the both of them.
"I'll take Ares and Eris back to the stables. Your spell will take care of the rest, won't it?" Elle asked.
"Yes, your packages will also be transported up to your room." Mias said as he trudged up to the front doors.
"You sure you don't need help with him?"
"I can handle him just fine, my dear." He forced a grin.
"Alright then," Elle patted Ares' muzzle and motioned for the horse to follow her. He did, still faithfully pulling the coach and his prospective mate behind him.
Mias unlocked the doors with a quick enchantment before pushing them open with his foot. He lug

Mias only smirked at me. "I'm never going to let you go, Elle dear."
I glared at him. "Damn it."
After a few minutes of me dreaming of escaping, I was pulled out of my plans of escape when Mias spoke up.
"Would you consider sleeping in the bed if I took your spot?" I frowned and sat up. "You look very uncomfortable and I don't want you to get any sicker."
"Fine." I got up slowly, instantly suspicious of his intentions. "But you better keep that blanket with you unless you want me to push you in the fire." I pointed to the fireplace.
"Whatever will make you happy, Elle dear." Mias said as we switched places. I slid under Mias' bed, and felt the comfort of a familiar bed.
I was about to fall asleep again, when in a bit of coughing, my stomach rumbled. "Hey can we have some-." I started as I sat up, but I stopped midsentence when I saw a food tray sitting in the middle of the room topped with breakfast foods. "Breakfast "

Skye awoke for the second time that night. Even with his eyes now open, it didn't help because it was too dark to see. He felt the ropes around his body that bound him, but he was still too dazed from the drug to panic. His droopy head turned from side to side as he tried to take in his surroundings. Judging by the darkness and the sound of the waves, Skye could tell that he was indoors and on the water. But most importantly, he was alone.
With his legs the only part of his body that was free, Skye was able to rise to his feet. The young man's eyes finally adjusted and was surprised to see that everything in the room was modern. Even though the ship he had seen approaching them wasn't a pirate ship, it still shocked him that the contents inside were of normal boat-material as well.
As he stumbled around on his shaking legs, he crashed into one of the walls and discovered the door. His arms struggled with the ropes, but he could not break free. He dropped to his knees and studied the do

For the past three days she had tried, to no avail, to find a way to break through the protection spell that was keeping her trapped. On the first day she had sprinted towards the open front door, hoping that she could break through with brute force and determination. Mias had been leaning over the banister, looking down at her with amusement. The instant she made contact with the open doorway she felt the empty space contract outwards as it gave under the force of her weight, before she was launched backwards into the manor where she landed without grace on her backside. Mias had roared with laughter, which she responded to with a finger that she hoped was universally known.
The second day was a day for experimenting. Elle decided to see if she co

Different shades of shadow masks
I keep coins in my pocket
Recent lifes only survivors
How much love costs
is it enough
or do I need more
Silence sweeps our ocean areas
eternal screams screaming to ear
spilled a glass fragments
coins at beach
Where is the love
can I find it here or
do I have to look elsewhere
Time passes as the storm whirls
Matter and space around me
birch leaves leaving in the wind
The money is at present
How long will the love last
as long as the money in the past
or eternally forever
Roses hide contrasts in itself
Birds flys downhill
windboys soothing peakest
and sunkids laughs brightly on my face
What is love
Is it just a word
or is it you and me.
2: Elle's EscapeMias stared at Elle's sleeping form beside him. She hadn't moved all nighthe knew because he hadn't moved all night either. He was still lying back against the headboard, watching her steady breathing and enjoying the rise and fall of her breasts beneath her lacy white bra. He had stripped her out of the gown she had been wearing, wanting her to be comfortable as she slept, confused as to why he cared about her comfort at all. His grin widened as her chest rose, deciding that caring about whether or not Elle was comfortable had to be the best damn idea he ever had.2: Elle's Escape3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Sunlight poured through the open window, a slant of light cutting across the bed and Elle's creamy white legs. Mias adjusted himself on the bed, and Elle shifted slightly before going still once more.
She would be awake soon, and Mias was suddenly aware that he had been lying on the bed in his clothes. He tried to smooth the wrinkles in his slacks and shirt, sighing with frustration when he realized not only was he a w

She rolled onto her back with a groan, her whole body protesting. Staring up at the starry sky, Elle pushed the damp hair that clung to her cheeks out of her face, bringing herself up onto her elbows. She looked out at the water which shimmered in the moonlight, and in the distance she could make out the silhouette of the Revenge, and she sighed with relief when she realized that it was moving away.
Her relief was quickly replaced by guilt when she thought of Thomas. She had left him behind. She shook her head, unable to believe her own selfishness. She should have fought harder,
They Say I'm GuiltyOf the nearly eighty female prisoners that had answered my request, I had narrowed my choices down to two of them. The first was a voluptuous, porcelain-skinned brunette that would make my brother drool in seconds. The second was a golden-haired, frail little piece of work, and normally I would have dismissed her during the first round of eliminations, but something kept her there. Maybe it was the way she stared at me with her venomous green eyes, but I couldn't be sure. In any case, I had my two choices set before me, each isolated in separate cells on opposite ends of the jail so that I might observe them more personally. They Say I'm Guilty2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I turned to the prison guard. "What can you tell me about this one?" I was starting with the brunette.
"Number 67," he practically spat. "Don't believe a word she tells you. She's as good a liar as they come."
I wondered at what sort of lies she had told the guard because clearl

The Smokey MirrorI dreamed a darkly clouded dream. The Smokey Mirror5 years ago in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
It was so dark I could not see.
I tried to step towards a light,
But I was bound by heavy chains.
Tore at the chains, they would not break.
I called for help, no one called back.
But then by chance I looked down,
And saw myself glowing bright.
I was the light all along, what I saw was a reflection.
Someone else had chased away their black smoke;
In the mirror of their heart I could see my own light,
And as the light grew brighter, the chains fell away.
I looked up and saw a dark storm above the earth.
The dream of the planet had become a living nightmare.
Poison rose as smoke from those living in their hand-made hell,
And through the smoke I could not see the world.
I watched in dismay as people cast hateful spells,
Not knowing the power of their thoughts and words.
But I knew the power each of us hold,
And I made an agreement to share this elusive truth.
I was the light all along, the space between the stars.
I had finally chased away my black smoke;
