I guess it all started out on the assembly line, I was built, and then I was sent to a store somewhere. Luckily I wasn't put in a box or anything. I was just placed on a store shelf with some weird tag on me. I was still pretty much like a little kid back then. The only thing I knew about, was that I had an on and an off switch. I first woke up on that store shelf next to a bunch of different weird looking gadgets, as I blinked my eyes for the first time. Everything was so bright, I had no idea what was going on or where I was. I just knew that I was scared but excited at the same time. I turned my head around inspecting my surroundings. I smiled at the chill of the cave, only to have the slim note of happiness fade like the half-used torch on the wall. Kilee (pronounced Kai-lee) studied the book of spells, two snake fangs peeking out of her mouth. Her emerald green eyes flitted about, memorizing the page, half absorbed in my brother's work.
"Simply genius." A reptile-like hiss came from her parted lips, as she closed the silver notebook, and sliding it across the cave floor to me. I picked it up protectively, arms making an X-shape with the notebook clutched to my chest. Years of cautious work could not get damaged.
"Shardy, chill for a minute. ' She whispered, a small smile tugging on the corner of her lips. Shardy. The childhood nickname she gave me, due to my obssession of shards of crystals.
"Kilee, I'm never relaxing until I find the solution. You know that."
She sighed, standing up quietly, and walking over to her bed. "I guess so. Night, Shardy."
