"Bumblebee wants me to do what?" June Darby stood over the stove cradling an old cordless phone between her shoulder and ear. She held the handle of a cast-iron frying pan in one hand and a spatula in the other. A look of surprise was playing over her face.
"Well, I'd be honored I'm sure, but wouldn't he prefer you to do it? Of course I'll be right there." June set the phone down and turned off the stove. She quickly went to her room and changed out of the shorts and white tee into her teal scrubs. She snatched up her stethoscope, then hesitated, she finally smiled and shook her head but draped it around her neck anyway. She went out into the garage and stood in front of the man door. Soon a glowing emerald portal filled the back wall. June strode into the swirling green mist and disappeared.
BabysitRatchet hated Decepticons, he couldn't possible begin to describe how much he hated them. Now he's sure other bots felt the same, but he was one of the few who actually had to watch mechs die. In a quickened pace, he raced down the hallway after receiving an urgent comm. link. Bursting threw the doors to the operating rooms, Ratchet was met with the sight of two battered bot lying on separate berths surrounded by medical bots.
"What is it?" asked Ratchet.
"They both just lost their spark." One of the medics answered; Ratchet grimiest.
"This.... this is nothing new. Why the urgent request?" The answer was not spoken right away.
"The femme had a sparkling with her." Ratchet's spark stopped.
"Where is it...."
"Where's the slaggin' sparkling!"
"O-Out in the waiting room.... it's the only place we could keep him for now."
Ratchet exited, the group following, and headed to the room. He found the spark

"Wow, Blue wasn't kidding when he said you were pretty messed up last night. Yikes." Came a voice from the doorway. Wearing a pair of faded jeans, a dark purple tank-top with a jacket hanging loosely on her shoulders and a bandana in her hair, Myra had in her hand a glass of water and a bottle of aspirin. The perfect combination for anyone with a hangover... and in this case, that person would be Erica.
"I feel like crap.." The blonde muttered as Myra walked over sitting down next to her handing over the pills and water. She downed the pills draining the entire glass of water
Basketball, Robots, and Police Chases Chap. 15If there was one thing Optimus did not like about being the Autobot commander, it was the interrogations. Yes, he took part in some of these interviews but most of the time he left that job to his second-in-command, Prowl, and the head of special ops, Jazz. The duo would normally demonstrate the technique called "Good Cop, Bad Cop" (as the humans would say) and use it to their own advantage. And most of time it would work. However, there were special cases where "force" was a key factor.Basketball, Robots, and Police Chases Chap. 152 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Although Optimus had taken part in his fair share of Decepticon interrogations, he was uneducated with the art of speaking to his own soldiers. That responsibility fell onto Jazz. The Prime knew that the mech could easily find a mole in the ranks and snuff them out in a matter of weeks. And Jazz would make sure that this mole, mech or femme, would be labeled as a traitor and not be welcomed back into the Autobot ranks.
And that was one of the Prime's weaknesses: His sense of compassion.
Now that he had

Bumblebee shut his optics tightly. What Wasp had become wasn't his falut. Was it?
His head shot up. "Ya, Prime?"
"Bumblebee, I've been looking all over for you." Optimus started. "Are you okay?"
"Ya...Of coruse. Never been better." The young bot sighed.
Optimus Prime smiled weakly as he walked to the couch. "This is about Wasp, isn't it?"
Bumblebee nodded. "I...I miss him!" He sobbed
"Listen, Bumblebee. It wasn't your falut. Shockwave tricked you and then, Wasp choose his own path." Optimus said, trying to comfort his little yellow friend.
"But...He went offline!" Bee cried. "He went offline and it was becuse of me!"

A Lesson in HistoryThursday afternoons always seemed to be the most stressful to Jack. So close to Friday-and by association, Saturday- and yet so far away. There was minimal homework to be done save for the consistent decree of generic studying, which seemed like a fruitless effort given the choice of scouring the small print of an out of date text book and playing Miko in a friendly rematch of Speed Demons II on the Gamestation. Gamestation always won out in the end. Unless something more interesting came about. Which was often. There never seemed to be a dull moment or a frame of time in which something interesting was not happening- be it an alien medic commandeering their science fair projects, an attack of small cannibalistic metal munchers from space, or an enemy sneaking into the base disguised as a beloved comrade from long ago the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing!A Lesson in History4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

If there were ever a time that a kid would find lunchtime terrifying, it was now. Rafael Esquivel, better known as Raf to his friends, was digging into his locker to pull out his backpack so he could go out and sit on the grass with both Jack Darby, and Miko Nakadai. He would need to go to the cafeteria first though to pick up his lunch and to that purpose he pulled out the five dollars his mom had given him, stuffing it into his jean pocket.
A shove to the back of his shoulder, his foot stepping on his shoelace, and toppling head-first into his own locker. Raf yelped in surprise as the door slammed directly after him, trapping him inside of the small space, standing on top of his books and crushing his homework. Raf turned around as much as he could, small fists pounding against the interior of his locker.
“Let me out of here!” he yelled, hands beating in a one-two rhythm

Sitting at the computers that had been provided for him, Rafael typed at the keyboard animatedly, making very sure to appear hard at work for the cameras that had been set to watch him. It was an illusion that was fairly easy to maintain given that he was, in fact, very busy, but then deception of any kind had never really been the boy’s strong suit. All he could do at this moment was hope he wasn’t overplaying his part. Occasionally the little hacker’s eyes left the wall of screens, glancing over to where Soundwave was lying upon his makeshift berth.
The dark blue Decepticon lay deathly still, just as he had ever since he and Raf had had their conversation and made their bargain. Having never seen a dead Cybertronian before, or at least not one that had not first been reduced to a pile of leaking parts, the techie was not sure how accurate such a description was, but Soundwave cert

The factory was massive, endless it seemed. And still it felt cramped, with more machinery and workers than should be held in two factories. The walls were dark with soot, the windows letting in only a subdued light through the grime. An everlasting cloud of smoke moved sluggishly around the ceiling, the ventilation system once meant to expel it long removed and dismantled for parts. And the noise, the roar of machinery and un-cleared filters, the beating of hammers and screams of drills and hydraulics filled the factory to the brim.
Perhaps the most startling sight of it all was that of the workers themselves, all uniformally black. And it wasn't the glossy black of a high-end finish, but the uneven, matte finish that took fifteen minutes to apply and began to flake as soon as it dried. If it weren't for the grime and complete lack of access to water, the workers might still show glimpses of the colors they once held.

In the darkness of the room he shared with his older brother Leo, Raf stared into the glowing screen of his laptop, hoping the sound of his fingers striking the keys would not alert anyone to the fact that he was not asleep. It had been an eventful day to say the least, and the young boy just couldn't get himself to calm down enough to go to bed.
A chime indicated he'd successfully logged onto the Net, and immediately he surfed over to an R/C Car chatroom he belonged to.
"No one's on tonight," Raf said in a disappointed voice as he read the list of the chatroom's occupants, none of whom he recognized. Suddenly a second chime signaled the entry of someone new. Raf's face brightened as he recognized the screen name "MiniFan13."
"WAT up hOm skilet, how it hangin?" read the greeting, causing Raf to chuckle a bit. He'd met MiniFan13 a few months ago. Though the other user

A blank nothingness.
That's what was before Jack to infinity and beyond. Assuming he went to bed ages ago, the fuzziness in front of him could indicate he was in a dream. For a while in his dreams, he witnessed riding on Arcee, watching Sierra at cheerleading practice and the other girls dancing to upbeat music, other bizarre moments, but then...
The lights suddenly blared on to a full glare. Clearing his eyes and to his horror, what was in front of him was Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Bulkhead.
In black leotards and pumps.
A familiar beat was played, and the Autobots in front of him began to dance.

Miko looked up at Ratchet with worry, his optics weren't as bright and he just looked off some how. He made his way over to the master computer and quickly shut the ground-bridge before opening the tops of the pods that Miko and Jack were still enclosed in.
Then Ratchet carefully placed Rafael on a bed in med-bay. He had fallen unconscious at some point and Ratchet didn't think he was breathing. Impossible, he had been knocked u unconscious because he wasn't breathing so he highly doubted he'd just start breathing.
Jack and Miko stumbled out of the glass traps and were at Raf's side in seconds. Jack grabbed his wrist and confirmed Ratchet's theory, he wasn't breathing.
Miko rolled her eyes, "You sure, Sherlock?" She asked sarcastically rolling her eyes before she turned to Raf.
Ratchet was groaning and muttering to himself, "What do we do…"

He did not like snow. It was wet, it was sticky, and it was uncomfortable. A part of the tween’s mind argued that he only felt this way because he currently found himself trapped in an environment dominated by snow and lacking the correct outfit to insulate him. The logic of this statement failed to overtake one very important fact. HE. WAS. COLD.
The young prodigy currently stood near his friend and guardian Bumblebee, rubbing his arms diligently for warmth as the team waited for Agent Fowler’s evac. The effects of the Decepticons’ heat ray on the landscape were beginning to wear off. Though he never paused in his work, Soundwave could not help but internally groan. Starscream had been harassing him ever since Megatron had left the room, and the loyal Third in Command did not wish to bother his Lord with such a trivial matter as Starscream’s insolence. But, sadly, the petulant child of a Second in Command was not the only thing bothering Soundwave—

The force of the impact had disoriented him somewhat, but still he kept going. His flight path swerved from side to side from both dizziness and the small bits of glass that were shifting around in his new fur and around the base of his new wings. Yet he ignored all of this as he kept pushing him new body further and further over the canopy of the trees as he gained more and more lift. His antenna twitched with the smell of pines and grass changing to the smell of open water and cool crisp air. The crimson mech felt something warm pressing up against his back, and he shifted over the berth, snuggling closer to his brother's form.

He felt Sunstreaker snort behind him, and heard his voice reply almost moodily. "Smells like clean. If you waxed and took half the care I did, then your berth would smell just like mine. Something went /clump/ somewhere in the semi distance and the sound echoed and re-echoed down the halls, making Raph flinch a little. The boy stayed close to the right wall, not quite confident in the semi dark that was most of the Autobot base when alone. The mechs didn't need nearly as much light as the humans did after all, so half the base, as Ratchet explained once, was kept at minimum light levels to none for power conservation.

“Okay ‘Bots, what’s the situation?” Agent William Fowler asked in an agitated voice as he exited the hidden elevator that led down into the Autobot’s base, his heavy footfalls echoing as he entered the silo proper.
“Agent Fowler,” the Autobot Commander greeted him in that calm, reasonable voice of his that Fowler envied during times of crisis. “As I said when we contacted you, Rafael has been abducted from his school. We believe that M.E.C.H. is the most likely culprit.” How the Prime was able to keep his cool head during every fiasco was something the federal agent would have given his wings to know. Privately the man believed it helped that Optimus didn’t have anyone over his head second guessing his decisions.
“Yeah, I heard that,” the ex-army ranger said, a hand running through his hair as he began to pace.

The Autobot immediately regretted doing that, hissing in pain as his digits ghosted over the rough patch over his shoulder. Mirage quietly muttered curses under his breath damning the leader of the Decepticons as he managed an awkward sitting position. Oddly enough it appeared that he was alone, which was highly strange of Ratchet to leave a patient and even more so for the others since it seemed there was at least one Autobot or more annoyingly enough one of the humans, always present. However he didn’t dwell on the subject longer than necessary. He had a mission to accomplish. Car
