A Death Sentence-The Hunger Games (wolf version)Two wolves hold each of everyone back, waiting for the countdown to release us to our death. While we all wait, I look around to Peeta, the white wolf, like myself, that I wish to be an ally, but he wouldn't be too interested. By the way, he wouldn't believe me, not after I nearly attacked him. But we are the only white wolves here. We both have the bright yellow eyes to seem scary to others, and sharp fangs, but all the wolves have that. He looks back at me, he doesn't say anything, just shakes his head, maybe meaning not to go for any spears. Everyone waits in their wolf form as the clock counts down from 10,
I shut my eyes for the last time, maybe.
Both wolves vanish into plain sight, 11 wolves fly towards the spears, 10 humans do the same. I only see 2, the black-faced, and Rue turn straight around head towards the forest. I hesitate to move, but I see another grey wolf grab a spear in her jaws and reveals a small knife laying 10 feet away. No one seems to be look
Forest Fire Escape-The Hunger Games (wolf version)I wake from den with a loud boom. It sounded like thunder, but in reality seems like an explosion went off. I was right, and explosion happened not only 50 feet from the den I slept the night to hide from Cato and Clove, along with their pack. Smoke begins to emerge from all directions, and begins to engulf the cave room.Forest Fire Escape-The Hunger Games (wolf version)4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
My eyes burn as I grab the knife I've been carrying with me since the Hunger Games began. I escape and to see the meadow around me being engulfed in flames. The fire spreads quickly before I have a moment to think. Whatever I think, it says, "Run!" Immediatly I take off away from the cave as the fire follows my trail behind me. The fear of being burned to death, failing my five month survival, failing my own pack, allowing Cato to claim more lives is unbearable to think.
Trees being to collapse to my sides making it nearly impossible to escape by turning, not unless I have strong leg power. Which I don't. Another tree falls directly behind me, causing fear to race up
Run Free-The Hunger Games (wolf version)The night had begin to dawn. I'm nearly asleep when I hear tappin of arrows against arrows. I look down to see the Glimmer tapping them together slightly. Trying not to awake the others, but to keep me awake. I wanted to scream down, "Shut up!" I place my paw over my mouth. I didn't want to scream that out. Thinking I just awoke the others. Some just stirred, none awoke.Run Free-The Hunger Games (wolf version)4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
She grins at me, but slides them back into the shaft and lies down to sleep. Finally, I can sleep. The spear, still lodged in the branch, I feel great to know I have a weapon now. I could kill off every one of them, only if I had more. I see the smaller spears laying by the other wolf near Glimmer. He must be using them. Not knowing if they were up here, right now they would be twitching or dead.
I rest my head on the branch, hoping to finally rest. Not until I hear a small voice.
"pst, pst" I look up to the branches ahead of me.
Here to save my life, again. If she is, I don't know how I'm suppose to re

"Rue!" I stammer backwards, that was stupid of me to yell that when Cato is nearby, worse, the entire pack. So vunlerable they'll kill me immediatley! I run towards the direction Rue ran from. Eventually I slam into her.
"I heard the howling, I thought they killed you!" I say nervous.
"No, no, no I wouldn't let them catch me. It was Sly." she says.
"Sly?" I ask.
"The black-faced wolf. She helped me escaped, not even knowing when we did, she took a knife to the neck, from Clove. But the only problem was she looked emanchiated, so she could have been dead in days." she says sadly.
"Clove." I say trying to hold back my anger. But unleashes, I growl hastily at the ground. I wanted to meet up with Sly. I actually wanted her to escape with me and Rue. We could've gone to our packs!

But inspite of that, why am I so driven to find him? The Braviary spoke to himself as closing his eyes and black out. As the snow continued to fall.
A voice continues to ring in my head. It says,
"Search, search for Kyurem."

"Come on Rufflet!" my trainer commands me. As I follow as quick as my little legs can carry, I rush to, once again, snuggle up with my best friend, in front of the fire, and to watch the snow fall to the icy ground. I enjoyed it.
We approach the house that belonged to Karen, my trainer. I was always allowed to run through, hop on furniture, and make a nest out of anything I can find. But I keep myself at a limit.
I'm always in for adventure and long journies. Sometimes Karen would tell me,

After a couple days of being under Darkrai's control, Latios's orriginal spirit is being drained away. By nightfall, he'll remain like this forever. However, Darkrai had planned to fire a strong attack move on him. It would've succeded, but Latias sheilded him. Collapsed. And hasn't moved since.
My eyes widen at the sight of her. Her back wings have been bruised and blood dripped from the one wing that was perched up. Soon, she was lying in a pool of blood. And remained motionless. I hear screeches of her friends, all crying, even the injured were back on their feets making racket and sheading tears.
Then, Arceus rises, still scarred from the attack, but raises his head and releases a sooting sound to everyone. All their eyes open and turn towards me. I even see Dialga and Palkia up too. They're sheding some tears as well. Uxie and Azelf layed dying but stairing in thi

Marvel woke me up a few hours later. The sun was rising up slowly and I was just in time to see its first rays light up the forest. It looked amazing. The others were still asleep, me and Marvel being the only ones awake. I could tell he only woke me up to show me this. I would have gotten angry, and at first I did, but then I was grateful. I had seen a lot of sunrises back in District 2, but this was different. I felt like it was real. Pure nature. I knew I was wrong, of course. But I still found it beautiful in a deadly way. And fascinating at the same time.
"What is it?" I heard Cato mumble lazily and I turned my head with confusion. I saw Glimmer, wide awake with eyes as wide as the sun itself, poking Cato next to her and pointing at the beautiful scenery. I turned my head with disgust, feeling the rage inside of me, but the warmth of the new day made it go away and I could enjoy this once again. I looked around with amazement, only to see everyt

"You kill her?!" he yelled, making Clove cringe, before she could respond he raised the rock above his head.
"No! Cato!" she yelled back, but now at this moment she was helpless. Thresh had the upper hand and being the only one else there, Katniss was most certainly not going to try and stop him. Thresh stepped closer to Clove and as he prepared to strike.
"Are you scared?" he said without yelling. Clove looked at him confused, but hopefully he started to feel a bit mercy for her.
"Yes" she said crossing her fingers.
"Well you shouldn't be... because you're on Scare Tactics" he put down the rock as camera crews appeared from behind the cornucopia and from the out rim of the bushes.
"Oh my God" Clove said putting her hands to her face, flushed red with embarrassmen
Cato's FarewellI can't stop thinking of her. How is it that I never told her? Now, though, it's too late. Holding her in my arms, I stare into her dead eyes and blink away the burning feeling in my own. If only I were the dead one. I volunteered to come here for her just as much as the glory and yet I never told her. Never told her how much she meant to me.Cato's Farewell4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The cannon's already fired though. It fired before I reached her and it was my name that she last uttered. My name she screamed through the field. And, as I came over the top of the hill, I saw her lips whisper it silently before the light left her beautiful dark eyes. Oh and I never told her!
"Clove." I whisper, bringing my face close to her. Then, more loudly, "Clove, please, Clove!" a tear rolls from my face onto her cheek and I pull her closer to me, rocking back and forth. "Please, Clove, oh please!" my shoulders start to tremble as I fight back the sorrow. How did I let this happen? How? After the change in the rules too. She and I could hav

I should never have let her go alone. Never. But she begged so hard to kill that irrelevant chit of a girl from district 12, I just couldn't say know. She wanted so desperately to give the Capitol and her family a show, just like she had been trained to do.
It was a good plan, she would take out 12, while I stayed back and killed that 11 brute. But I misjudged the situation, grew cocky. Everyone always told me

Katniss opens her mouth in protest, "I― I have. Clove almost―"
I cut her off, "You think he doesn't know that? I could have perfectly killed you. It would have been the second kill, in five minutes," I smile, twirling the knife between my fingers, "that bag belonged to me." I get mad. I lost that kill, and I'm not going to lose it again. My eyelashes flutter open through the haze of nightmares that sleep brings.
Nightmares? What am I talking about, nightmares? There were certainly no nightmares last night. First time I slept well in days.
"Well, someone's awake."
I sit up, finding a smug Haymitch smirking at me in the doorway.
"What in the world are you doing here?"
"And good morning to you too, Sleeping Beauty. In case you forgot, today's the day.
" That's right, Katniss, the day." Says a different voice.
Now Peeta has appeared at the doorway as well. Great. I'm being double-ambushed.
"Good morning to you too, Peeta."
He laughs, and I feel better. It's just the way Peeta's laugh influences me. I swing my legs over the side of the bed and get up, heading towards the breakfast table, but Peeta's arm stops me, his face serious.

Clove hadn't really spoken to Cato before they had been chosen as tributes.
Both had generally the same background both came from privileged families, both were trained relentlessly from the day of their birth to prepare for the Hunger Games if they were ever picked, both went to the finest school in their District. If they were going to die, they were going to die with a fight that all would witness and remember.
She remembers acknowledging the boy, but never paying him too much attention, at first. He was snarky and clever, but never was he ever cruel, just disrespectful, until they got into the Games, that is. He would get top grades, and all the girls in the school would fawn over him. He would flit in between girls, but he never really held on to one. Clove would laugh at the girls he dumped at their stupidity at thinking they'd be able to hold him down. Clove could tell that he was a free, reckless soul he did what he wanted, when he wanted,

My dreams weren't pleasant. I had never dreamed about the arena, but the images that flashed through my head were more violent than I expected they could be and I'm surprised to say I was afraid. It was rare for me to dream something so troubling, but I felt that something was wrong. Again. It was a common thing in the arena, but not for me. Or for us. We weren't afraid of anything. Nothing could get in our way. But it seemed like the arena would always find a way to tell us other wise. I was being chased in my dreams. I would never run away from an enemy, but that time I was. I couldn't run away, but I couldn't win the fight as well. It wasn't until I heard a scream that I woke up and realized my dream was reality as well.
The tracker jackers nest shattered and the angry wasps began to fly around and sting us without any further thought. Our first reaction was to struggle, waving our arms around, kicking, trying anything just to get away from them.

As I run up to catch Katniss, I see that red-headed girl from District 5. I groan and tell myself to stop. She comes in right before Katniss does, taking her green pack with her. Katniss is shocked, I see. The Girl on Fire decides to make her next move and runs to grab her bag, before one of the Careers can come.
She's wrong. I run again, towards her, around the Cornucopia. I pull a knife from my jacket as I work my way towards Katniss. She sees me and tries to hit me with an arrow, so I swerve to the side and dodge it quickly. It hits my left arm, luckily I throw better with my right arm, so I pluck it off my arm and keep running. I'm angrier now. The arrows remind me of Glimmer. I throw a knife at her, but she tries to dodge, and it makes a cut on her forehead. I run, tackling her to the ground. Her eyes fill with worry. "Where's your boyfriend, District 12?" I ask. Katniss tries to shake me off, but I just hold her down harder. "Still hanging on?" I sneer.
