For the Love of Death -0-He was running, running as fast as his feet would carry him. It was the only thing he could do, because there was no such thing as taxis out here in the countryside. No one to help him get the hell out of there. No one save those he'd left behind, and he was determined to get away from them as fast as possible. What they were doing... it was unnerving. Unnatural. Not right, somehow. He was hesitant to call it evil, but that was the only word that came to mind. For the Love of Death -0-2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

All he knew was that it made him uneasy. Why the hell had he even been drawn to it in the first place?
Mason glanced at his cell once again, reaffirming the directions. Yeah - he was definitely at the right spot. And that just so happened to be an abandoned, derelict church in the middle of nowhere. He didn't like it. One couldn't get much creepier, and something about using the place seemed wrong.

The persistent idea that it was such, commonly spread by adults who are clearly suffering from a serious sugar deficit, is a symptom of the unfortunate tendency of the boring and dull to claim that the traits of their cardboard-flavored lives were, in fact, the trappings of 'adulthood,' and anything that tastes good, is fun, interesting, explosive, shiny or cool is the exclusive property of children, and not worth diverting one's attention from the financial pages to notice or pursue. Such people usually spend a lot of time planning to become wealthy by careful investment in oatmeal stocks and unsweetened tea futures. They also tend to wear beige cardigans, frown a lot and attempt to chase small children from their property for serious infractions such as playing games involving balls, running and laughing.

In the darkness I see you.
Strong. Beautiful. True.
With a sweetness through and through,
And eyes of blue that makes me rue,
The days I never noticed you.
With open eyes you're miles and miles,
Far away; to my decitful wiles,
I cannot say I tried to cheat
Your awesome beauty had them beat!
Your insightful love, though far apart,
Made me rip my monstrous heart.
Inside of me there had to be,
The man you wanted to set free:
The Prince of Swords, his heart exposed,
Afraid of course, but then he chose
To love you back, never willing
To take it back, always giving.
His love to you and only you
Upon reflection it must be true
How can you love, how can you love,
One just above your average thug?
Not swift of mind, nor good at art;
In the negro croud can you set apart?
I'd bear all darts, I'll take the pain
For a koala's love, I'll say it again:
I'd bear all darts, I'll take the pain
For a koala's love...

The end of all this pain
may never draw near,
while all other emotions
are hidden behind invisible tears.

“Hey are you okay?” you can barely make out. ‘Where am I?’ you ask yourself ‘Why can’t I open my eyes? Is that voice calling for me?’ You begin to open your eyes and find yourself in a bed surrounded by five guys.
“Ahh!” you quickly yell and jump up from surprise. The quick jump had caused your back to crack rather loudly.
“Hey it’s too early for you to move,” says the younger looking boy “You are hurt pretty bad.”
“Hey Emil,” starts an older one with light blonde hair with a curled hair standing on the side “Will she be alright?”
“Yeah but, it may take a few weeks for her to move on her own.”
As they continue the conversation, all you can think about is how you got here and wonder who these rather handsome looki

America pressed himself harder to the wall, shaking in fear, and slowly started to look up at the sight before him. The monster roared and bared his blood crusted teeth. He slowly went to all fours and, with his eyes glowing, started to stalk forward. A small tear ran down America’s face. “I’m sorry Canada. I couldn’t save you, France, or Britain. I tried. I’m so sorry.” He closed his eyes waiting for the monster to make the killing blow, but it never came. A loud roar filled the room, rattling America’s ears. Then a loud thud shook the floor and walls worse than an earthquake. All that was heard throughout the building was an eerie silence that was only cut by the heavy breathing of a nation named Canada…
Endless Dream - poem for KanonI am in an endless dreamEndless Dream - poem for Kanon5 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
A dream that never
Seems to end
But like all dreams
I know that one day
They must end
Whether they are happy or sad
Frightening or peaceful
So why do I continue to dream?
On crimson snow I lay
As soft golden light
Filters through the branches
Of the old oak tree
The sky is adorned
With the gentle colours of sunset
And beside me is a boy
I can't see his face
But I can hear his voice
As he calls out my name
As I lay there
I feel hot tears
As they fall upon my cheeks
I want to lift my hand
To take a hold of his
To comfort him
I want to tell him
That everything will be okay
But my body wont move
And then my dream
Begins to fade away
Giving way to a dream
Of endless white
When will I awake
From this endless dream
And will I ever get to meet
That boy again
Will he be the one
To wake me from
This endless dream

The group are now traveling through the swamp using the shortcut that Eddy's Brother used to get to the factory.
"This place is giving me the creeps." Sarah said, the sound of the crickets and frogs are sending a chill down her spine.
"We better be careful here." Eddy's Brother said. "I get the feeling that the swamp is not safe."

"Everybody! Be careful!" Nazz warns the other. "This swamp is crawling with zombies!"
"Alright. You guys better cover me." Eddy's Brother said. "I can't drive and shoot at the same time."

Your hand lingers faintly over the receiver, and you are prepared to entertain her with habitual, faked attention. Random part of another storyRain poured down from the sky as a young woman, barely twenty one, tried to find a place to be. She stumbled on the uneven sidewalk, tears streaming down from her cheeks. Anywhere, anywhere but home. As she ran down the sidewalk of her town, she spotted a store, warm light glowing from within. She hastily entered the shop, hoping her tears would be excused as water from the rain. "Can I help you, miss?"
A concerned voice from behind the counter startled her out of her thoughts. She hadn't even seen anyone over there a minute ago. Then again, she was a mess. She looked at the man who had spoken. He was young as well, probably just a bit older. His brown hair was short and a bit messy. He gestured her over, reaching behind the counter and handing her a piece of candy almost soaked in honey. She ate it slowly, savoring the sweetness that was almost too much. She asked if she could have another, quietly, and he ga
