I hate when people call me "lucky" for the successes I've had. I worked hard for them. Real hard. Possibly too hard. For that same reason, when people who give up on their dreams complain to me about their lot in life, I'm not gentle with them. I can't be. I know life can get really tough, but to give up in the face of adversity shows a real weakness of character. To watch people give up saddens me, and kind of angers me as well.

Saturday mornings are super again. Harkening back to the glory days the 1970s and '80s when kids got their weekends going with Super Friends and School House Rock, Cartoon Network is launching DC Nation, a programming block that showcases the heroes of the DC Comics library. Anchoring the hour will be the CGI show Green Lantern: The Animated Series (10am/9c) and the continuation of the first season of Young Justice (10:30am/9:30c). Scattered Throughout the hour are animated shorts and interstitials with news and vignettes from around the DC universe.
Though some of the shorts feature big names like Superman and Batman, many will put the spotlight on "characters we've always wanted to see animated, but that might not be able to support a whole series," says Peter Giardi, senior vice president at Warner Bros. Animation, which is coordinating the block. Among the second-tier characters featured are Black Lightenin

You cannot transfer your collection of UMD based PSP games to the Vita.
If you want to play the games you already bought for the PSP you must rebuy them.
You have to buy an expensive proprietary memory card if you want to save anything.
Without an expensive proprietary memory card, many Vita games can't be played at all.
The battery life for the Vita is worse than the 3DS's.
Downloaded games are only about 10% cheaper than the same retail version.
AT&T is the service carrier for the Vita.
The cheapest phone plan only nets you 250mb a month.
The device has already been hacked.
The cheapest you can get a Vita (while getting the smallest memory card and cheapest monthly data plan) is roughly $295. If you actually want to get an enjoyable experience out of the device the most expensive that you'd have to pay (including the most expensive memory card and data plans) is $480. Neither of those price

I'd just like to say thanks for all the support you've given me, despite it being a "little game" it has taken hard on me mentally and physically, I gave up a lot of my social life, and time with my love ones, I must admit even with the breaksthere wasn't days I didn't think about all the things I had to do and figure out, and all the sleepless nights too oh dear, but I'm happy I actually finished something that has a lot of quality to it, and live up to my standards, and not just a shitty quick game made for making money.
And although it was just a game I made for me to kill the time while I was pooping, I'll sure be pooping like a king now.
Think about it this way I spend 8 month of my life, to make pooping more fun, isn't that something to think twice about.
Either way, going in to this not knowing 90% of how to do an

More 'Breaking into a job with art'...Hi guys! I hope everyone is well! For some strange reason I've been getting an overwhelming number of people asking me about breaking into a job with art all of a sudden @_@More 'Breaking into a job with art'...3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I'll always answer any further questions. (just note me or leave a comment)
But I just wanna refer you guys to some previous writings from other artists I have already posted earlier, and is still really good information if you've missed it.
Even if some of these are comics, I feel like most of the things stated are universal for most art-related jobs. Don't be put off just because you might not be interested in doing comics.

And then I wanna talk about the basic stuff:

"As I mentioned in a previous post, every time a full episode of newly animated “Take 1" footage comes back from the overseas studio Mike, Joaquim, Lauren, Ryu, and I gather to watch it together. Yesterday’s was an ESPECIALLY GOOD one…
I know it does nothing to abate your frustrations over the delay to hear this, but we are very eager to share Book 2 with you. It is coming. Like winter. Except it won’t last as long as a Westeros winter."

Next week, I am heading off to Columbus, Ohio, to attend the Ohayocon anime convention. I am super excited! Are any of you guys going? I'd love to say hi.
I've been to 3 conventions thus far (on the seller side), and I've had a great time. I've experienced many pleasant and funny moments as well as a few creepy and rude ones. I'd really like to share some of the funniest/weirdest/rudest moments with you, under guise of a list:

advice for browsers and buyers alike
Do not keep your condoms in your wallet. There may come a time when you wish to purchase something, and out comes your condom, plopping right on top of the artist's prints. This was, hands down, the funniest thing that I ever witnessed at a convention. While I am really happy that you use protection, please keep it in a secure spot, to avoid any kind of emb
Today a year agothat dayToday a year ago3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I remember that day so good
I woke up in the morning and turned my pc on
suddendly I saw it everywhere and I wondered myself what the hell is going on?
I was asking myself why everybody was writing about something such horrible
I was disgusted of how anybody could make jokes about something like this
but then I saw even friends of mine wrote things related to it
I couldn't and didn't wanted to believe it
but then I had to realize that it was true
it was true that my Idol my Muse and Hope died that day
It's been a year now
but it still hits me everytime like the day I had to realize that I'd never meet the probably best, nicest and lovliest person on earth and beyond.
rest in piece my friend we all will miss you.

The Derpy Issue Part 4 (final)Alright, so now we get to the crux of the matter. Hasbro has finally made a statement:The Derpy Issue Part 4 (final)4 years ago in Personal More Like This
"The 'My Little Pony Friendship is Magic' series has always been about acceptance and inclusion, and the series strives to convey that through the playful antics of a diverse cast of characters. Some viewers felt that aspects of the episode 'The Last Roundup' did not stay true to the core message of friendship which is the heart and soul of the series. Hasbro Studios decided to make slight audio alterations to this single episode."
NOW would be the appropriate time to start getting all freaked out over this issue. Personally, I am not going to worry too much. I am disheartened that they've chosen to respond this way, but I am not surprised. Hasbro is a corporation, they have to think of their image. "Derpy" is a debatable term that can either mean "goofy and silly" or "insulting towards disabled people" and frankly I agree that this is not an appropriate word to be used for a kids TV show

We're drawing the final chapter of Volume 4. I finished page 15 of Chapter 12 yesterday- which is page 84 of the book as a whole.
And there are still over 30 pages to draw- egads.
Stopping to think about it, the effort required seems almost overwhelming. Even when Volume 4 is completed, we still have the rest of the series to tackle- years upon years of work. How do we do it? When you're in the midst of a long term project, how do you stay on track and keep from getting burned out?
There are a 3 keys to staying productive, and staying sane, in the midst of titanic workloads.
Key 1: Love work.
It's not enough to like the *idea* of having a story. Everybody does that. But the ones who pull through in the end are the ones who actually enjoy the work itself. Because that's the real payo

And while you're at it, enjoy this unused pose from the episode "Grounded." This was from a scene that ended up getting cut. Wonder Girl and Batgirl were almost crushed by the tractor Superman deflected.

25 Things I learned being a Comic Artist in 2011The following list contains intense amounts of SARCASM for the purpose of satire and humor.25 Things I learned being a Comic Artist in 20114 years ago in Personal More Like This
1. Never offer artistic advice or hint at the possibility that the way young and inexperienced groups of artists work might in some way be flawed.
2. Every comic must be inherently drawn better and be funnier than the last.
3. Humor is NOT relative/subjective.
4. Nothing is funny. Ever.
5. Even the most trivial aspects of your comic must be taken 100% seriously.
6. Failure to incorporate conflicting suggestions for improvement = incapable of accepting criticism.
7. Trying to quelch flame wars also inexplicably = incapable of accepting criticism.
8. Trying to explain your artistic decisions = incapable of accepting criticism.
9. Having lots of watchers = having an inflated ego.
10. Reaching the frontpage = getting Daily Deviation.
11. Every character you draw (even ones you do for commission/jobs) = your personal opinions and beliefs which you must obviously follow rigidly IRL.
12. Never change y
