Today, I share my favorite plz-icons with you I have them anyway, so I might just as well make it public. This is primarily meant as a collection and shortcut for myself, but perhaps you share a similar taste and find them useful All Pony-plzes can be found here, and reaction images will get their own Journal Entry soon.
In Firefox, you can simply mark the images and copy them. In Chrome, it is a bit more difficult.

Changing the world through musicSomeone recently brought up an interesting point as they left a comment on one of my YouTube videos. They argued that my talent wasn't very rare, and that everything I've done has already sorta been done before--that I'm not really pushing any boundaries or doing anything new. Tone is often lost or misconstrued over the internet, but it seemed to me that the person leaving the comment was insinuating that I was somehow "less" of an artist, or not quite deserving of praise, simply because I wasn't pushing some sort of boundary with the music I made.Changing the world through music3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I have a pretty thick skin, but I'll admit that negative comments bother me. They bother every artist. We do what we do to make others happy, and if we fail in that endeavor, it makes us feel bad. Any artist who denies that is either lying, or not in it for the right reasons (in my opinion). That being said, the guy's comment on my YouTube video... kinda bothered me.
Beer Horse ManifestoBeer Horse Manifesto1 year ago in Personal More Like This
In truth, I have no idea what Book Horse does or does not support. Is she in favor of capital gains? Does the Treaty of Versailles expand upon the definition of freedom of religion? What is her stand on prohibition or the taxation of Irish immigrants as proposed by the Know-Nothing Party in 1856? Who knows? Obviously not the Know-Nothings, it’s right there in the name.
All I know is what Beer Horse thinks. And what she thinks is that she’s happiest when focused on the fan part of fandom.
I don’t have time, inclination or the patience to tell other people what to do or how to live their lives. Policing my own self is a full time job I don’t want to be anyone else’s moral gendarme. All I want is to be a good person and treat others with the same respect, understanding and kindness that I want to be treated with.
I don’t deal in stereotypes or broad generalizations or beating people over the head with the
Season Wrap UpWell, season 2 has finally come to a close, and I'm sitting here and looking back on it all, with a few thoughts I want to share.Season Wrap Up3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I just want to say thank you (again) to everyone that watched and enjoyed the MLP season finale this weekend. There were lots of hard nights and long hours from all of us on the DHX crew to make it the best would possibly could. Of course, there are things that are always going to be imperfect, but overall from what I gather, it seemed well-received.
I was also shocked at how many people recognized my OC pony that made a small cameo in this weekend's episode. As a blanket response to a lot of the same questions I've been getting all weekend: No, I did not voice her and I'm unsure as to who did. I would assume just one of the regular VA's. She was put in kind of last minute. The artist who drew her in the storyboard, made her look like my pony (just a coincidence), and after seeing i

SBFF now online!DC Nation has posted 3 of the 5 SBFF!! shorts online for your viewing pleasure! If you didn't catch them when they aired on Cartoon Network (*cough*and you're too ethical about copyright to watch them on YouTube *cough*) take a look and let me know what you think. Make sure you take a moment to vote for your favorite SBFF (Supergirl, Wonder Girl or Batgirl) at the the little poll on the right side of the page.
And while you're at it, enjoy this unused pose from the episode "Grounded." This was from a scene that ended up getting cut. Wonder Girl and Batgirl were almost crushed by the tractor Superman deflected.

Stop It.Guys, I understand that it's upsetting that the now-former found of the NLR has left not only the group, but the fandom because of a number of bad apples (pardon the pun, but it works).Stop It.2 years ago in Personal More Like This
It's understandable that people are upset about this, but that does not give a number of you the right to start wailing on the guy for leaving. Honestly, if he wanted to leave, and this sent him over, then just accept that. Nothing we say is gonna change his mind or change what has happened.
I may be new as a co-founder here, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna let people run awry with slandering a person because of their decisions or feelings.
So stop it now. I don't want to hear more on the subject. Those who continue will find that they may not have a future as a member of here.

Of fanon and canonYou know, a lot of folks on dA tend to use these journals not just as places to write stuff to keep folks in the loop, but as their own personal soapboxes. It's kind of annoying, really; so I tend to try not to rant in these if I can avoid it.Of fanon and canon4 years ago in Personal More Like This
But bronies, let me tell you something. You are making it so hard for me right now.
Let me start by saying that I love canon. Canon is why we're here. Without the canon of the show, we would not have come to adore these ponies that we spend so much time on. Without canon, this fandom has no base, nothing to stand on. I get that! As such, I have a healthy respect for what canon brings us with each amazing episode. But here's the thing:
I love fanon, too.
I love the depth and richness that this vast group of creative ponies manages to bring to an already amazing show. Without the fanon, I know I wouldn't be half as involved in the

Before anything, just allow me to tell just how much I have adored and cherished the love, kindness, support and friendship I have gained from all of you who cared to view what I'd drawn.
Doing these silly (And usually illogical/disturbing) comic-strips and images has literally been one of the highlights in my life, as cheesy and cliché as that may sound, I swear, it's absolutely true. Fluttershy's Tearful Plea For HelpFluttershy's Tearful Plea For Help3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Fluttershy is crying. Why? Because she just listened to a heartbreaking story of a very talented person here on dA. The story of Sahtori-Kamaya (Karine Coenen) has been going around the fandom for a while now and some or most of you have probably heard about Karine before. For those of you who don’t know, Karine is very ill with cancer and she will be dead before next summer.
Fluttershy sends out this plea to all who care enough to listen to Karine’s story. Listen to Karine’s new video below and take to heart the message that the Sahtori-Kamaya has for all of us.
Karine Coenen mentions in one of her DeviantArt journals how, despite universal healthcare in Belgium, her insurer seems to be able to legally withhold treatment for her just because she is behind on her payments. Even employers reject her because of her disease, and she can’t expect any help from

I have NOTHING but good things to say about the folks I’ve had the pleasure of talking to, hanging out with and calling my friends in the My Little Pony fan community. When it comes down to it, everyone is here because of one reason- they like the tiny horse cartoon. Bottom line. I’ve never run into a single instance of the legion creepy, pervy, fedora-wearing, neckbeard misogynist bullies that are claimed to populate every pony-friendly website and convention.
Quite the contrary, I’ve had a wonderful time every step of the way and I appreciate EVERYONE I’ve joined along the ride- bronies and nor/mlp/eople, artists and musicians , VAs and staff, men, women, kids a

Many of you My Little Pony fans may have heard the amazing news that John de Lancie, who played the infamous Q on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and who I was so honored to have play the villain Discord for MLP:FiM, has announced that he will be Executive Producing a documentary about Bronies and Bronycon.
The new news is that Tara Strong (voice of Twilight Sparkle) and I have been brought on board as Executive Producers, as well. And to make this documentary as amazing as possible, we are reaching out to raise even more money for film on our Kickstarter page. Please see the official announcement below:
We are pleased to announce that Tara Strong and Lauren Faust have joined us as executiv

let me first some up the previous of pony generations,
generation 1 appeared on tv in the 80s,
it was made to sell toys, plots were hardly very weighty,
and generation 2 I do not mean to grouse and gripe,
but these characters fall right into the girly stereotype,
and generation 3 is just too awful and too tragic,
so let's jump to number 4 where friendship is magic,
all the characters compelling, and the stellar storytelling,
and the lovely animation brought about great dedication,
this is where we meet the bronies, where they like my little pony,
yes the bros enjoy the ponies so let's go and meet the bronies,
well the growth of brony fandom might simply seem absurd,
true fans adore the show while others gallop to the herd,
for hipster bronies watching pastel ponies has appeal,
though at first it seems ironic soon enough it's very real,
from moderates to starterswho are finding it with hype,
when the bronies they'd invade their favorit

The 2010 reboot by Lauren Faust (fyre-flye), “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic,” had its start on DeviantArt where Lauren originally posted the early concept art which would later evolve into the ponies we know and love today

The Greatest Experiment in Capitalism: AnalyzedWhat gives the government the right to forcibly redistribute wealth from the rich to fulfill the needs of the poor? The Greatest Experiment in Capitalism: Analyzed3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
The above seems to be the battle cry of many free market idealists, which inspired me to write this article. Surprisingly, many people who offer this contention aren't rich, and are unwitting beneficiaries of government control.
My initial thought was a bit cheeky. The middle class is currently paying about 50% of their income in taxes, while the rich pay about 15%. The rich buy politicians to keep it this way. What gives a rich person the right to steal from the middle class not for their needs but for sport?
Although there is a lot of truth to that, it's still important to address the main point: the aversion to the government using force to redistribute wealth. This sounds good in concept, and if you keep it in abstract terms it's hard to disagree with it. However, the supe

Wow .. thanx for the feedback .. with ur help I'll add more tips below .. keep an eye on them XD
What's a border?
Border is what surrounds your html/css object/item, let it be a text, an empty box, or an image .. etc
What makes up a border?
Border has four properties:
Color - Width - Style - Radius
Whether you choose for your border to be visible or not, bear in mind it's made up of four parts:
Top - Bottom - Right - Left
How to use that in CSS?
The border properties have different ways to write down their values, but I always use a fixed/limited way:
color: #------; --> border color
width: --px; --> border thickness
style: solid, dashed, dotted; --> border ap
