Wanted to unwind after a crazy Sunday. Worked in a different process than normal for fun and speed purposes. This is based on this sketch here I did at :
The process is pretty simple: Instagram photo set to Multiply, paint goes underneath in a usual layer structure for me, applied with a modified "water color brush", last minute color balance tweaks and FX. Total time: about 45 min.
Original sketch was just a Rose Col-erase pencil on generic sketch pad.
Here's a new peek into the development of No Zombies Allowed. This was the first pass I did for the Heroes that may appear in the game. We intended for them to be in from the start but shifted priorities at one point to nail down some other elements. drew on this pass too, but these are just mine. I'll let him post his up separately.
We submitted about 32 sketches on the first pass, they were then narrowed down, and we moved to finals. One of which you can see on Ryan's page here: [link]
I'm interrupting your regularly scheduled Street Fighter sketch to bring you some random shit I drew a couple weeks ago. Ballpoint pen on a sketch book. Started it in a meeting and looked over at . Needless to say his hair is inspiring.
It was basically just random shapes that I kept adding on to.
There has been some art from the development of No Zombies Allowed[link] hitting the ol' DA and I felt left out! So here's some early development art from way back in Too-Oh-Eleven. This is the first batch of sketches I did when Big Menace Industries was just starting NZA to try and nail down the look of the characters. Ryan and I did a ton of exploration and we'll be putting more of it up in the coming weeks.
