Hipshot!Hey there, sparrows! ♥
Long time no see! Okay, okay, not terribly long. :> We're well into Julyhow is everyone's summer coming along? What sort of things have you been up to so far? I hope you're all having a great time and enjoying the sun. Thus far, my summer has been fantasticlots of swimming, fishing, hiking, motorcycle riding, starry nights and watermelon, haha.
I'm making this journal for those of you who have followed my horror story 'Hipshot' (and anyone who'd like to start following it). After putting the project on hold for several months, I have revised the first four parts (and oh man, what an improvement, seriously), and updated them today, in preparation for the release of the fourth part of the story tomorrow evening. If you've read Hipshot before and plan on reading the 4th section, I think you'll enjoy it much better if you re-read the story beforehand, now that it's been revised, and refresh it in your memory. Check back tomorrow
Experimental ch4A/N: All right, forget updating this on a schedule. If you want to know when it updates put it on Story Alert. I've officially failed.Experimental ch44 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Also. Dear fffnet: Screw you. Screw you for deciding to do whatever you want with my formatting. Screw you for mandating thatTHERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO MAKE A PAGE BREAK. Screw you for deciding the last few paragraphs of every freaking document I post to you looks better in italics. Sincerely, I hope you choke on your own vomit and die.
Zim was called back to reality by a clattering noise from the next room.
He hadn't been asleep but he hadn't been exactly awake, either- some mindless state in between. He sat up, rubbing his eyes. He was not sure for the first few moments exactly where he was. When he remembered, he huffed and shook his head. Filthy Dib. Filthy Dib's house.
And that clattering noise was probably filthy Dib up to no good. Better check it out.
He stood up, straightened up his uniform, and marched into the kitchen.
The noise wasn't Dib, it w
The Rarest Lapis Lazuli- Ch. 1Maximillion J. Pegasus was a man known eminently for his incredible confidence and energy. Friends would say that he was unstoppably sanguine; that his attitude always pushed him forward in his endeavors. Be it researching the most microscopic atomic particles to drawing the cuddliest of Duel Monsters for his new sets of cards, Pegasus put his heart into what he loved and stopped at nothing- nothing- until he had satisfied his goals. The Rarest Lapis Lazuli- Ch. 13 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
It was unlike Pegasus to leave anything untied or unfinished; and, one of his lifelong goals had not been realized. He had been married young; married to a woman his age, married to the woman of his dreams. He'd had everything planned: to become a famous painter, to become a parent with his wife, to live comfortably in the countryside.
However, this was not to be: disease had gripped Cecelia Pegasus and quickly had taken her life. Pegasus had had his dreams violently ripped out of his clutches, just as everything had been going so right. Desperate,

Everything was white. 'Everything' meaning the walls and ceiling; there was nothing else in the room but a large, open window.
He paced back and forth, his boots clicking on the smooth metal floor. The breeze blowing through the window was cold and biting and had the smell of changing seasons on it. It would be winter soon, snowy, shivery Earth winter. It never failed to amaze how one planet could be both baking hot and freezing cold by turns.
He veered from his path, ending up by the window, looking out. The room was on the top floor and he could see the whole city from up here.
It felt different from looking through the spherical windshield of the Voot cruiser. There was so much Earth out there. He shuddered and pulled away, pacing back and forth some more with his eyes on his legs.
Instead of his nice, formal uniform he was wearing a slightly oversized pair of overalls that were badly stained with laboratory spills. He would change as soon as he go

And she's so stupid and lazy
She's schizophrenic, and did you see the way
She looked at that other girl today?
Yep,she must be gay
She hears new insults every day
Piling them on,carrying them around the way
One might carry heavy luggage
She smiles through it all like she doesn't care
But behind the mask she wears, there
Can you see it?
She's just like you

Trying not to think of how all my fears
I'm so lost without you

Home are our stories,

I spit into the sink and then smiled up at my reflection. I was in a good mood today! School would be easy today- probably not any pop quizzes or anything. It was going to be a good day.
I wet my hand and ran it quickly through my hair. I shook my head quickly and my thick yellow hair fell messily into place. I shot a grin at myself, in the mirror. I was a good-looking guy. In the right light, my eyes looked gold gold, like a reflection of my gold heart. Yeah!
I had bought myself some new clothes recently. Right now, I was just wearing my favorite boxers. They were black, with little cartoon dogs on them. I went back into my bedroom and opened my closet. I had cool T-shirts with various insults on them, ranging from the village missing their idiot to the garden missing their ho. But, it was a school day. I dressed into my uniform and grabbed my sling backpack.
"Bye dad," I said, jumping over the railing of

No one, obviously. Maybe it's just me, but I find it rather funny. Really.
Incredibly, insanely funny, the way I go about each day dropping subtle hints, giving

What's Mine Is Yours Tonight's the night. You are finally going to see your best friend, Karkat Vantas. The seemingly shouty capslock of text is finally going to have a voice and a face. You can't wait to see him. But then again, it is only webcam. You have to admit, you're a bit nervous. You look into your computer's screen which makes a pretty decent mirror if you try to look at yourself at the right angle. You grimace unhappily at your amber and blue eyes. Your hair is a bit spiked today. You don't know if that's luck or if you just forgot to comb your hair today before going to school. Lost FaithThe preachers and the priests, they sayLost Faith3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Don't let them take your faith away
I was good,I did as told
I read the bible, new and old
And my faith,it stayed strong
My love was something that would last long,
It was so easy to imagine myself an old woman, still going to church every week
But eventually,they got to me
And my faith broke
But it wasn't from the lies or curses,
Words the 'heathens' spoke
It was the very people I was raised with
The priests and preachers and the holy men,
The ones who sang the loudest
And the ones who prayed the proudest
The ones who once told me,
"Jesus will always love you,as long as your faith stays strong"
But they said
If you want to be gay,be gay
But don't you dare call yourself a Christian
Because Jesus doesn't love gays
Can you believe,
These were the people I trusted with my life and soul?
Each week, worshipping with them,it made me feel alive and whole
And now I fear
I can't go near
Can't face their condemnation

A moment of silence. When Kedde spoke again, his voice was deathly cold. "Do it, Pandora... or else."

It's known that my programmes are good.
They've got almost everything to catch the audience's attention.
But none of the shows I've made before are compared to this one.
I don't like to say my name, but everyone calls me "Director".
Recently, I've been organizing a reality show, "Housemates".
It has surprised me how it got so many popularity already.
It's one of my programs after all.
Then it's awesome.
Too bad not everyone thinks like me.
People call saying we shouldn't film there.
That something bad will happen.
Okay, I don't know what is inside that mansion.
But that's important?
Whatever it is, is too interesting for it not to be recorded.
Even if the contestants are in "danger".
It's worth it.
And how bad can-
They've notified me that we're loosing cameras.
Seems the reason is unknown.
But it doesn't matters.
We still have many cameras.
Loosing some won't be a problem.

You, slowly, released the air from your mouth, making the Grub laugh. "S-Sollux?" You pressed your lips into a line. 'Okay... Sollux has been turned into a baby... WTF. I CAN'T TAKE CARE OF A CHILD!' You mentally cried to yourself, doing a facepalm. Sollux squeaked in questioning, climbing to your shoulder. He must've sensed your frustration and unease, because he started nuzzling into your neck. You giggled, plucking him off of your shouler and holding him at eye level. "You're just adorable, aren't you? ...More adorable than your grownself, that's for sure..." You mumbled the last part. Dinomafia Part IPtero knew he would hate Stego from the first moment he locked eyes with the demonic son of a bitch.Dinomafia Part I3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
What was it about his first impression?
Perhaps it was his young age. How preposterous that Don LaNeurothe head of the most powerful mafia family in the east coastshould have made his right-hand a boy younger than even his own son.
Perhaps it was the eager gleam in his pale blue eyes, and the devious smile that accompanied ittoo pleased to see his new employer, too soon after the death of the man who had been like a father to him; like a child being given a new toy after he had lost his old one.
But perhaps Ptero was being overly judgmentalit wasn't Stego's fault that his father had passed away, after all. Stego had done his job, and done it well; and from what he'd heard, he had cared very much for the old Don.
But knowing about his admirable performance, and the respect his father had for him, did nothing to change the fact that Ptero hated his guts.

First, before I begin my story, perhaps I should introduce myself: Prince Phillip, son of King Hubert. A few years ago I had the privilege to marry the most beautiful girl in the entire kingdom, the fair Princess Aurora. Aurora and I had actually even met before and fell in love in the woods, but that was before I found out her royal heritage and that she wasnt a peasant.
These last few years married to Aurora have certainly been interesting to say the least. She certainly is a lovely woman and I do adore her, but sometimes there is one little personality...quirk, I would say. Since Maleficents spell, Aurora still occasionally has this lingering narcolepsy, able to fall asleep at a drop of the hat.
Now most of the time, I generally dont mind this. Sure, I can put up with the occasional face in the mashed potatoes at dinner; and theres always the inst
