The rude remarks, the snide comments, and the teasing whispers of how he wasn’t good enough. He’s heard the same things said to him by the same people every single day, and he was starting to believe them himself. It’s gotten to the point where he’s skipped practice more than once just to get away from them. Nitori hadn’t told anyone about the bullying; he didn’t think anyone would listen, let alone care. Instead, he waited until his roommate had drifted off, headphones plugged in and all, and he cried. He cried until there were barely any tears left in his system, and then he cried some more. Lorina ran across the room and threw herself against Adam in a kicking, scratching fury, all wild red hair and sparking eyes. "Don't you know he's sick?! Don't you KNOW?!" "Ok, Wheatley," Chell said, unrolling the map, "What do you want to see first?"
Wheatley thought for a moment. He had never really seen most of these animals. He looked over her shoulder at the map and looked for a word that looked interesting.
"Ummmmmm, how 'bout the concession stand....that sounds interesting!"
Chell laughed, "That's not an animal, you goofball! Ok, how about the monkeys?"
"Sure." Wheatley muttered, feeling embarassed that he knew so little about these things.
They made their way to the monkeys cage where the monkeys swung from tree to tree without a care.
"Sooooooo, are they a type of breeded acrobat?" Wheatley asked.
Chell and several other people burst out laughing, causing Wheatley to blush.
"What!? I mean, it isn't unreasonable!"

Cameron Quiseng was absolutely wasted.
Zach watched his tipsy boyfriend clutch the corner of the bedside table, trying to get back on his feet. He struggled, landing on his backside inevitably.
He giggled the entire time.
"Zach," Cam whispered breathlessly. His face was red, his dark hair stuck up even more than usual.
"Zach," He called again, quietly. "Come down here. I have to tell you a secret."
Zach rolled over on the bed till he was perched on the edge above Cameron. Pushing a strand of chocolate-colored hair out of his eyes, he attempted seduction.
"What is it, Cameron?" he asked, keeping his voice low and husky. Getting Cam drunk was the best idea ever, he thought. Cam continued to giggle from his spot on the floor.
"Come down here, Zachy!" Cameron whined, using the rarely spoken nic

Erik: You have no testicles.
Raoul: Every time I look at you, I throw up in my mouth a little
Erik: Yes, but YOU are broke. I on the other hand, am conveniently and mysteriously wealthy despite the fact that a masked criminal showcasing his madness in such a flamboyantly French way would, under any other circumstances, attract the attention of the NYPD, who would, in turn, seize his assets and toss him in the loony bin. But alas, I am wealthy, and you are not. This puts me in a convenient position to further this turd of a plot by making a bet with you that could potentially resolve your debts.

Whilst you still slumber, wallow in your dreams
She makes the tea
She gives you breakfast in bed,
Her hair already piled elegantly upon her head
She washes last night's dishes
And remembers to feed the cat
She prods the children wide awake
And gives you a gentle shake.
Downstairs, the children are at the table
Tidy hair, polished shoes.
A plate of food in front of you
Bowls of porridge for the children
You cover her delicate ears when the news plays,
She's a fickle thing your wife
A kiss of the cheek, your brief case in hand, you go.
She marches the children off to school
Singing on the way
Then off she goes to the shops, the grocerers, the paper shop
She chooses a leg of lamb, in the butchers
Staring into the dead animal's eyes, unfazed
Homeward bound now, arms laden with an army of bags
She unpacks the shopping, and begins the cleaning
Of course, that, is what she does best
She polishes the floor
Dusts every surface in sight
The stairs are given a good old brush

Matthew sat in silence, staring down at the tea cup in his hands. His stomach was churning and his heart was sinking. Arthur knew the Canadian was upset, he could see the hurt on Matthew’s usually kind face. All he could do is sit in silence with the younger man for the time being, but inside he was boiling over with rage. How dare that American Bastard hurt his sweet Matthew. Silence hung in the air for a moment longer, and finally the Englishman spoke. He had to fight to hide the anger in his voice.
“Matthew … you know that Alfred can be selfish, and stubborn, but,” his words began to sting as he continued to speak. It felt like he had filth in his mouth, “but he does care for you. He’s just terrible at showing it.”

"There are only two excuses you have for not coming along to do the corn maze with us, and I know you won't admit to one," the Canadian said, " and the other excuse I won't buy... because you certainly don't look like you're too bust to me."
Alfred gave Matthew a mock confused look, "What are you talking about. Of course I'm busy... see, I'm playing video games."
Matthew sighed again and gave the American a hard look.
"Not a good enough excuse. I think you're actually just too afraid to go."
Alfred snorted and looked up at Matthew indignantly, "Scared?! Pffft... really now? Why would I be scared of a corn maze? Haha, man, you're all wrong."
Half-heartedly laughing to himself, the American turned his eyes back to the TV screen.

I glanced around as I approached an unfamiliar stream of water.
Pausing and without realizing I called out, "Lizzie! Its not funny to play tricks on zhe awesome me!"
Hearing my own words, I froze up in shock and approached the stream so that I could see myself.
Staring back were my red eyes barely covered by my silver hair. But seeing what I was wearing caused my eyes to widen.
I was wearing a white tunic covered by a white cloak. The tunic had a black cross sewn onto the front.
I was dressed like I was a part of the Teutonic Knights again.
That was long before I became Prussia.
I glanced around.
This wasn't my land.
Where the hell was I?
And why did I look like I did while I still was nothing more than the Teutonic Knights?
Then without warning, I heard a noise.
I turned, searching for the source of said noise.

A Lesson in HistoryThursday afternoons always seemed to be the most stressful to Jack. So close to Friday-and by association, Saturday- and yet so far away. There was minimal homework to be done save for the consistent decree of generic studying, which seemed like a fruitless effort given the choice of scouring the small print of an out of date text book and playing Miko in a friendly rematch of Speed Demons II on the Gamestation. Gamestation always won out in the end. Unless something more interesting came about. Which was often. There never seemed to be a dull moment or a frame of time in which something interesting was not happening- be it an alien medic commandeering their science fair projects, an attack of small cannibalistic metal munchers from space, or an enemy sneaking into the base disguised as a beloved comrade from long ago the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing!A Lesson in History4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

"Alriiiiiiiight we can check that off our list, too. We just have this and then we'll be all done!"
It was a normal Saturday morning when you decided to call your friend Alfred and plan your day. It was the last week of summer vacation and all summer you two and a few of your other friends were doing things you had come up with the past school year on a list called "Things to Do". It was inspired by a post you saw on Tumblr, and you and your friends thought it'd be an awesome idea to try them out yourselves.
It was a pretty long list, honestly. Alfred's brother Arthur was bribed into doing the first item on the list, which was to wear a shirt that says 'Life' on it and hand out lemons to people on the street. It was ridiculous but amusing, as most of the things on the list were. The great part about this was that you were taking pictures of each event and you were later going to put them into one huge poster to remember your last summer before high school.
