Probably my most favorite image from my last trip. The colors, the formations the symmetry. It just seemed to come together for me. I will never forget this sunset and I will always wish I could have done something better, but how can you think so fast when the light is rapidly changing. I almost didn't make this shot as in, I almost missed this spot along the lake. I found a little trail and followed it to this little lagoon that was surrounded by these towering formations, many which had fallen over. Standing in that lagoon really made me feel as if I were on another planet. Simply the most unique place I have visited. I was waiting for the sky to open up and a UFO to come down, which the following night seemed more like a possibility...
