here's what our days have looked like, lately... traveling down the super slab
This was shot from the window of the motorhome, on Highway 71, in Northwest Arkansas.... while my sweet hubby Bob =TThealer drove
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ annnndddd... folks, I want to apologize for not being here much lately, but I earn my living as an artisan, with my hands and eyes, and DA is my relax time... and sometimes that time must be short in order to keep the bills paid!
If you love it it, and I'll know you loved it! let me say thanks, in advance for every that you leave for me... I'll also make every effort to get by your gallery in the near future, and return the favor. But please be patient with me! Alice
Couldn't resist putting this photograph in my collection!
There's an anual car show at a local museum park and I was so happy I finally got to see one car I've been waiting for years to see.
A 1958 Plymouth Fury in Fire Engine red! Yup, it's the famous car from Stephen King's "Christine" film/book. AND to top things off, this was one of the very cars used in the film production. Edit: It's reported only 4 survived! Between 14-19 we're stripped for parts or smashed up during filming.)
Other cars there this year included Starsky & Hutch's Ford and the Dukes of Hazzard Dodge, but they just paled in comparison! *drools*
UPDATE: Had a play around with photoshop and bleached out the colours from the busy background - Makes her shine twice as "bad" now!
These buses are hand-painted and are considered as unique work of craftsmanship. These adorned vehicles are mobile moving art. Even though I'm a fan of minimalism I wouldn't want them to get replaced by sterile modern counterparts.
