I was going through some old files on my hard-drive when I came across this photo. Taken at a car show a few Summers ago. I really love the curves, color and shine in this pic. Please ignore the silly person in the reflection.
This is a very special car, the 1907 Itala 35-45 HP "Peking-to-Paris" Racing car. 1907 was the first year the Peking-to-Paris race was held. This Itala won 1st price. 100 years later, in 2007 (when I took this photo), the car and it's crew were going to attempt the same route in opposite direction. Normally this car is in a museum in Turin, Italy. We didn't even knew that car was going to be at the National Car Museum that day to show off, so I was very lucky to spot it.
The Iveco Massif was also part of the Itala-crew: [link]
