Pencil on A4 bristol. Original by Egor Zalivin [link]
Had a bit of block and it was driving me insane, had to draw .. anything. Saw this and thought about freedom of speech. You have to watch what you say or post these days or the thought police will pay you a visit ... sshhh .. i better stop now, incase. Anyway, about 10 or 12 hrs, Eyes are a bit too large and the fingers look a wee bit flat but i feel better now i've had my fix of graphite .. until tomorrow

Yay! Finally done :D
I started this drawing about a year ago but I wasn't really into it until about 2 weeks ago, when I found it again.
It was a great technical practice since I haven't drawn anything in a while!
I used an 0.5mm mechanical pencil, LYRA colored pencils and the gorgeous Adriana Lima as a reference.
It's quite big, 30X40 cm.

>>Created with charcoal and highlighted with chalk on 2.5x3.5 ACEO bristol vellum card. About 3.5 hours.

:bulletred: See all my ACEO's in my gallery here: [link]

-----------------

♥ For every day of 2012, I will be drawing one ACEO sketch card. Every single one will be for sale - ALL proceeds to be donated to charity at the end of 2012.

My charity of choice is a local foundation called Alternatives to Violence, who is currently raising money to build a safehouse. This safehouse will provide a secure shelter to men, women and children who have recently escaped physical and sexual abuse.

With the safehouse, 312 individuals every year will receive crisis intervention, counseling, safety planning, advocacy and shelter.

Together, through art, we can help make a difference.

My first attempt on oil, and quite satisfied with the result.
I painted it last year but somehow forgot to submit it.

It's oil on paper, 18x27 cm
