Nigeria, in the last decade or so has seen thousands of people die because they were Muslim OR Christian. They are killing each other by the hundreds with guns, machetes, or whatever means available. Women and children slain in their homes because they were a different religion. What possible God sees this as OK? OH perhaps it's the god that commands his followers to kill thousands and thousands of people in the Bible. Seems like the same one to me.
There are property rights and what the government refers to as "indigeneship" in Nigeria. It means whoever was first to live on a particular parcel of land, has the rights to it. Add to this law of "indigeneship" the fact that Nigeria now produces a LOT of oil and you have the makings of a war. Ironically, the "democratic" government has embezzled four t

A long, long response to a bio-denialistRecently I tried to educate someone on DA who believes the usual "evolution is the devil's lies" jazz.A long, long response to a bio-denialist8 months ago in Personal More Like This
Fascinatingly, none other than our friend kajm interjected, apparently stalking my comment history on a regular basis, telling her I was just a troll and to delete and block me.
Despite the fact that he himself accepts evolutionary science, his obsessive, stalking hatred of me is more important to him than education. I guess that goes without saying for someone who will make up anything they can to convince innocent kids to deny how climate works at even its most basic level.
So, I'm going to finally just copy/paste what I said to her here, in the off chance that maybe it will actually help somebody.

But that's quite all right. I'm not at all externally focused and I know that what others think (especially on the internet, on social networking sites) have absolutely no effect on what I choose to do or how I choose to do it. So you may ask, "why are you even on here?", and that is a good question. The reason I post what I do is a clear signal to the "universe" (for the lack of a better term) that this is what I have chosen to do. It's almost irrelevant what my viewers think of what I am doing because I'm not doing it for them. But that makes me sound unfriendly.. If you like it, good. If you don't like it, good. If you get rude or obnoxious or hypocritical, well that's annoying a little bit
So during this last 12 to 15 months I've been posting nude photos and my views have gone from 7000 to 110000. T

"Mad Max: Fury Road" beat me on the first try.
Which is to say, I had to walk out about 20 minutes into my first attempt on account of a health issue that's been dogging me for awhile. I won't bore you with the details, but the basic meat of it is that I'm an anxious person, have been for some time, and it's something that's snowballed with time. At its most basic, it means I generally avoid social situations or unfamiliar places. At its worst, it means pacing the house and freaking out over ridiculously mundane things, and going into a panic over life, death, money, age, disease, ambition, etc. Usually there's an explanable reason, followed by a comedown and general malaise. But this weekend, just a few minutes into a FANTASTIC movie (seriously, but more on that later), my heart rate peaked, my head panicked, and I couldn't come down. I've had minor heart palpitation issues be
Important message to all(SPREAD THIS!!!)What I have learned from becoming a Brony is the same type of things I learned from becoming a Christian, to accept all others no matter their views, gender,or beliefs. I have come to see that others will insult simply for those, well I come to know these as the lost. They have taken what the world has given and given up, but they can all be saved. Through showing them the respect we people give other, by showing them love and compassion. Showing them that others truly care for them, cause all the peaceful and the respectful are warriors of peace. We carry are shields and are armor, we use that of are words as a weapon of peace. The helmet stands for knowledge, the shield for tolerance, are words for love. We carry are fallen comrades and enemies! We show all respect and love! We show the fallen there is something still to believe in, a good that a wholesomely good! We give them the offer to take up the shield and helmet! If they accept we raise are shields as brothers! Discrimination Isn't *Always* Wrong**** This is (( NOT )) a Religion Rant ****Discrimination Isn't *Always* Wrong3 years ago in Personal More Like This
This was originally a comment response to the (using the all-encompassing meaning of the word) Beautiful Human Being :iconlovelizzie: lovelizzie
Her Journal Entry: http://lovelizzie.deviantart.com/journal/Discrimination-is-discrimination-287009035
Discimination isn't always wrong, it all depends on how you apply it.
When it comes to abusive men/women, child molesters or rapists, i'd say some discrimination is valid.
(she mentions discrimination against the popular kids by the unpopular kids)
Discrimination against the popular kids has its root in how the popular kids treat the unpopular kids. We respond to cruelty with the only weapon we have - our witty insults.
Discrimination based on a person's actions toward others, and not necessarily their behaviour, is absolutely necessary in our society - thing is we're all individual humans and not everyone agrees on what should be discriminated against - wh
Mad Max femdom explainedIf you look up Furiosa/Max fanfiction you'll notice every single one has femdom in it. It's seen as such an essential part of their relationship that people don't even bother to mention the femdom in the description. It's expected to be there.Mad Max femdom explained2 months ago in Personal More Like This
In my last journal when I said Max and Furiosa's relationship was very femdom'y a lot of men (and only men) complained and said "No it's not! They're equals! How is that femdom!?" And that's exactly it. They are equals, and that's what makes it femdom instead of boss and subordinate.
It's important to understand that there's a very big difference between femdom and feminism.
Feminism is about equal rights and respect between men and women. Women are seen as weaker and "lower" which is why it's called feminism instead of equalism. Feminists do not wish to drag men down to the level they're at in society now, they wish to come up to the level men are at.
Femdom is a personal relationship between two (or more) people who have all agreed
Snow Villiers Character AnalysisDiscussion of the week is about my boy Snow VilliersSnow Villiers Character Analysis1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Snow Villiers is one of the many protagonists in the popular video game series, Final Fantasy XIII. Snow can be described as a big loveable gentle giant, he’s big height-wise and muscle-wise, he tries to handle most hostile situations in non-violet ways, and he loves to help others even when they didn’t ask for it. I personally like the fact that he can’t stand to be useless, he doesn’t just stand there when someone he loves is in danger. I chose to do this analysis on Snow Villiers because he’s on my top 5 ”male protagonists” in the series and I can relate to him in some ways.
I always read things like the following when it comes to Snow’s character
1. He’s an idiot/he’s all talk
2. He’s useless
3. He’s a stereotypical shonen/shounen character
1. He’s an idiot/He’s all talk

Religious Discussions...I've noticed a trend and now I want it to stop.Religious Discussions...1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Those of you who are atheists, and are very vocal about to the point of ridiculing other people for still believing in a higher power....
I try to respect everyone's beliefs. So long as they don't shove their religious views into my face, then I will be respectful of their beliefs.
And I do try to be respectful of those of you who are atheists.
But there is something that I do hate. And that is shoving your beliefs into other people's faces.
I know that not all atheists do this. I do hope that most atheists are sensible people who know that everyone has their own views about the way the world works. After all it is our differences that makes us all unique. The world would be a very boring place if we all believed in the same thing.
But just as much as I hate fundamental Christians who get their joys about preaching that I need more Jesus in my life, I hate it when a bunch of atheists spam
The Alternate Doomed AzerothThe more I'm thinking about the Warlords of Draenor, the more I get to think about that particular Azeroth that will never see the coming of the Horde. The Alternate Doomed Azeroth1 year ago in Personal More Like This
And the more I see one particular bit of info that comes up.
That Northrend will never be discovered and thus stopping Yogg-Saron.
Or that Kalimdor will never be discovered by the humans and dwarves.
Or perhaps the Alliance will never be formed.
And Medivh would not be killed off, and since he has Sargeras inside of him, he'll complete his plans.
All because the Horde wasn't there.
Okay, let's think about this for one bit. I'm gonna propose something that is rather radical in thinking. What I'm proposing is simple.
What if I took a time machine and killed Hitler?
Yes, this is basically the case of Hitler's Time Travel Exemption Act. And the idea that if I were to kill Hitler, and maybe if I succeed, I still would have changed NOTHING, or at the very least, not much.
There is a reason why I say this. Because my Je

Is Neltharion a Gary Stu?Oh god, this is probably the most loaded question I have ever asked. Is Neltharion a Gary Stu?6 months ago in Personal More Like This
Seriously, it is. I mean, where do I even get off asking such a question, right?
Well, I began to think about things while sitting alone in the dark with only my idiot brain to keep me company. And also, I do this to make sure that I DON'T make Nel spiral down into that hated place.
So, to ask the question, let's really define what Gary Stu means.
Gary Stu is the male version of Mary Sue, a very hated word among many fanfic writers. And it was coined from an old 1970s fanfic that details Lieutenant Mary Sue getting it on with James T Kirk, and that she was this perfect, can do no wrong, person who was awesome.
Yes, this word is older than I am. The term itself and its definition is almost 40 years old. Nearly half a century old, people!
But it really didn't come to the fore of many fanfic writers until the invention of the Internet when fanfiction could be more readily read and easi
Day of the BarneyThere are times where I wax nostalgic off of so many things I loved to do during the very early 90s.Day of the Barney1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Hell, the 90s was when I created these characters...
Cerenath Khan Draconis (Samuel "Sam" Davidson)
Xi Kedzuel Draconis (Gerald "Jerry" Hamilton)
And yes, to go back to the Crimson Dragon II...I should tell you the real story of Jonathan's best friend Sam Davidson, who he is and what he is. And that Jonathan doesn't have as big a secret as Sam. Or the story of Jerry Hamilton, aka Kedzuel Draconis, when he was on Earth during the 90s and why he went there.
But I'm talking about Day of the Barney
Day of the Barney was written by someone named Brian Bull in 1993. I don't exactly know how old he was when he wrote it, I'm guessing he was probably a little older than 20, given the quality of the story he wrote.
'Thugs and criminals'Some people, even some people we all know and love here on the Deviantarts, have described some recent events as "criminals" and "thugs" getting what they "deserve." They refer, of course, to the widely discussed issue of American police repeatedly killing black men.'Thugs and criminals'5 months ago in Personal More Like This
Let's look at some of these "criminals" and what they did to "deserve" being shot to death, shall we?
-Trayvon Martin was unarmed, had no history of violence, and was walking home with snacks. We have no evidence that he threatened or harmed George Zimmerman except for Zimmerman's own claims, which occured after Zimmerman defied 911 operators and continued to stalk and harass this boy he did not know, who exhibited no criminal activity. Zimmerman, meanwhile, has a history of violence and domestic abuse, including threatening an ex wife with a gun.
-No evidence demonstrates that Mike Brown commited a crime.

Bomango ze Tango!I'm going to get ahead of this right now and say that this might not be a riveting read for folks. Bad advertising, I know, but I feel it's necessary to preface this by being realistic. I'm not uber-famous, my characters aren't known far and wide, and for Pete's sake, I don't even have a proper webcomic or series to speak of. ORIGIN! (in real life)(image circa way the hell back when i was still spelling it GoGo BoManGo)
"Bomango" (as it's come to be known) came about maybe around 2004 or thereabouts...shoot, maybe 2003, which makes it a decade old already...sheesh. Ten of the worst anti-feminism argumentsA growing number of people on Deviantart fancy themselves part of an "anti social justice" movement. In their eyes, white, straight men are being unfairly bullied and oppressed by women, minorities and the LGBT community. To them, requests for equal treatment somehow go too far, and backlash against the prejudiced is somehow a greater evil than prejudice was to begin with. Eventually I'll be writing something like this for racial issues, but for now, we're going to focus on the increasingly hostile, extremist "anti-feminist" subculture and the faultiest talking points of their agenda.Ten of the worst anti-feminism arguments6 months ago in Personal More Like This
Argument: "You're the real misogynist by painting women as victims"
This common "point" is a surefire way to make yourself look like a remorseless villain. The idea behind this sad tactic is to make the "feminist" feel like they're insulting women by insinuating that discrimination affects women at all, the idea being that only "weak" women would ever have a problem with misogynistic behavior to be

This is a legal protection in place so that the people can criticize the behavior of authority figures on equal grounds.
For some inexplicable reason, many people believe "Free Speech" extends further to civilian interactions. People claim their "freedom" is being violated when a website like Deviantart takes down their work, or when they experience harsh backlash for their opinions and beliefs.
In other words, call someone out on even the most vile, aggressive hate speech and they'll almost invariably fall back on some rant about their "freedom" to "express" themselves.
Unfortunately for the racists, misogynists, transphobes, homophobes and other anthropomorphic sewage, the right to free speech simultaneously means that others have the right to speak against you, and yes, police your words in their own spaces.

For those hot on this issue, is making the bible an official state book a restriction on the people or the government? I think the state constitution specifically forbids it but were it not there my question is should it be?
Yeah, apparently my backwards state is thinking about making the Bible the state book.
FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THE GODS....HELL FUCKING NO!
Should the Bible become our state book? The answer is no.
Because not everyone believes in the Bible. Not everyone follows that book. Making the Bible the state book restricts the people. Even in my state, not everyone is Christian! I'm not Christian. My mother and stepfather are not either. This would hurt us a lot. It would hurt many people who choose not to follow the belief in Christ.
I have seen what happens when people in the government favor one
