Hello Everyone!
The Symbol of Peace, a short documentary that I have worked on for the last year was accepted into film festivals earlier this year including the Peace River Film Festival where it will be screening this weekend on September 23, at 2:00PM, and the MovingMedia Film Festival at Wayne State University.
Although it was a great honor for me to have the film screened at these two festivals they were two of the smaller festivals we were accepted into.
The Symbol of Peace, Directed and filmed by Zev Vel, will share the inspiring stories and dreams of the people who love the peace sign and have created their own peace signs to display on their homes and businesses.

That question seems quaint and laughable these days, but if you do a little research you will find that once upon a time it was a raging debate. Thankfully a consensus has been reached that the agency of the photographer – his or her eye and critical mind – choosing the subject and manipulating the machine (the camera that is the art instrument) is what establishes photographs as potential works of art when created by an artist-photographer. Pretty basic common sense, huh? So why then is there now a debate as to whether FRACTAL ART is truly art – or just something produced by poking patterns into a computer? The way I see it, if you're reading this, either you have a story you're working on or you're desperately trying to come up with one. Maybe it isn't coming together quite like you pictured it? Maybe there's too much to work with, or you have too many options to choose from? Maybe you're like many people and can't seem to come up with a good satisfying story no matter how hard you try!
Chances are, YOU ARE THINKING TOO HARD. Sure everyone wants to be the person who writes things like 'Inception' that are super complex and insightful and fun to watch/read/enjoy, but the point is that, when you boil a plotline down to it's basic elements, you should be able to summarize it in ten words or less.
