How to Compile and install Bespin from source!Ok so I am posting this in case the links I used go away, this way I and anyone else who wants this info will have a way of stashing it for later use. Also want to say thank you to Lars and Tom for pointing me in the right direction for this info.
Note: I have only done this on Kubuntu 12.04 x64, 12.10x64, running KDE 4.8.4, KDE 4.9.2, KDE 4.9.3 so anything other than this I can not say for sure will work. I would assume as long as you have the dependencies met it should work but this is just a guess. As Always make sure to back up your stuff before trying anything new like this!
1: Make sure to install all Denpendencies:
Install emerald for Ubuntu 12.041. Install packages (in terminal):Install emerald for Ubuntu 12.043 years ago in Personal More Like This
sudo apt-get install git autoconf libtool libwnck1.0-cil-dev libwnck-dev intltool libdecoration0-dev gawk
2. Download emerald
3. Install, in terminal (if you download to Downloads folder)
./autogen.sh && make clean && make distclean && ./configure --prefix=/usr && make && sudo make install
