For more money to be buying
More of the things everyone wants.
It gives me a piece of a bit of happiness,
Which becomes less and less almost every time.
I buy only to erase desire,
To make my quality of life a little higher,
But when I stop lusting for things I don't have,
I passion begins to dissolve ,
And the mind begins to fade.
If having causes me to be displeased,
Then why do I not let go?
Ah, therein lies the dilemma of humanity:
If I should cast away my many musty treasures,
I shall want for them again.
To have is dull,
To want is sometimes pain,
So whatever efforts are made,
In the end, the will be forever vain.
