Constructive criticism for Mr. EnterI personally feel that Mr. Enter's reviews could be much better than they currently are now. Here're some points that I feel he should improve on.Constructive criticism for Mr. Enter1 year ago in Personal More Like This
1. Don't refer to your childhood constantly.
In his first TTG! review, a bulk of it consisted of him making constant comparisons to the original and, or course, referring to his childhood. Arguements like that show a severe amount of bias. TTG! was meant to be aired on its own merit with no connection to the original. I'm not saying that TTG! comes close to being watchable, but by constantly comparing it to the original, it wouldn't look good since it has been done to death by other reviewers.
2. Move on from G1-3 MLP and Breadwinners.
We get that you hate those shows, you don't need to review/refer to them constantly, especially since your hate for the former may come from your love of MLP:FiM, and we know that Breadwinners is awful, however, by constantly bringing it up, your viewers may be curious enough to watch Breadwinner

First off, the babyfurs. There's nothing wrong with having a fetish, and animals wearing diapers can look very cute. However, the line needs to be drawn somewhere. Many of the babyfurs and even adult babies who aren't furries will draw their characters not just wearing diapers, but SPOILED diapers. Honestly, pictures like that belong in a private gallery. Even people looking for art that is not suitable for children most-likely do NOT want to see some grown man, woman, lion, tiger or whatever in a poopy diaper while searching for a painting of a hot naked adult woman. I know the old 'if you don't like it don't look at it' bit, but I've been involved somewhat in the BDSM/fetish scene. In BDSM, those involved tend to have this rule to not involve anyone in their fetishes or play without their consent. That includes no exhibitionism, because traipsing around in public wearing baby clothes or other fetish gear(except maybe at a

Students and teachers, doctors and patients, the UN and member states—no matter how different the backgrounds are, no matter the gap in experience or who's leading the conversation, it's important for communication to succeed. And the only way to do that is by making sure there's always room for a dialogue.
Dialogue: two sides having a conversation together.
Based on the literature community chat we had not too long ago, critique seems to be desirable. This blog is a response to the fact that a number of people mentioned dissatisfaction with a) how much critique they're getting, and/or b) responses to critiques they're providing.
This is about critiquing people you don't know, and who didn't request a Serious Business Full-Length Critique.

The Lion King - 20 Years And Still Roarin'Holy butt on a bagel....for the first time in my life....I actually feel old right now.The Lion King - 20 Years And Still Roarin'1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I think most of you already know this, but for those who don't, I'll refresh your memory...
The Lion King is my favorite movie of all time.
I know that sounds weird coming from me, considering all the crazy shit I draw. While I go on and on about the films of Ralph Bakshi and any animated shlock aimed towards adults, Disney was my first exposure to animation and inspired me to do what I do today. And it's so shocking to find out that the film that blows my mind every time I see it is turning 20 years old tomorrow, on Father's Day of all days (which is sort of a fitting day, given the father/son relationship shown in the film).
Sadly, I didn't have time to draw a tribute picture, due to my busy schedule. So I'll just talk about how much the movie means to me. Not from a snobby animation critic's point of view, just from a nostalgic point of view and how much it shaped me over the yea

I'm calling you out on your bullshit.
I would gladly note this to you instead of posting a journal, given the chance, but I can't. Seeing as you blocked me for giving you an honest critique on your artwork. I suppose it doesn't matter though; either way, you can't hide what I want to say.
If you wanna say something about someone else, here's a tip. Grow a pair of fucking balls and unblock them to say it to their face. Don't use an alternate account (we all know you and RookAgainstTrolls are one and the same) to try to get their friends to stay away from them. It makes you look more pathetic than you already do.
You think you're some kind of tough girl who can tell people who they should or shouldn't be friends with? Who the fuck do you think you are? It's none of your goddamn business who anyone chooses to be friends with.
And if you should happen to come across
The Year the Bronies Cried...I won't lie you guys but... I'm starting to miss the days when all we were worried about was if Lauren Faust and the other crew members read "Cupcakes" or saw the Rule 34 through a Google Search. A lot of people would say the warning signs of waning times would start after the heavy criticism of the "Mare Do Well" episode, some of the crew were worried about going on Equestria Daily sometime after the news broke out of the huge Brony uproar. And please, don't get me started on Derpy. It was a shout out to the older fans, but a couple of unhappy individuals decided to give the writer Amy Keating Rogers 10 upset emails out of the 300 positive emails she received. It was assumed that a rather infamous figure in the fandom named "Yamino" was the one behind it, she was only the most vocal. Even after the episode where the pony in question spoke was changed, she still got a lot of hate... and that w
The Anti-Sanjay and Craig GroupPeople, can't you just take a break from all of this Sanjay and Craig nonsense it a minimum? I mean come on! It wasn't even released yet. I'm not trying to say this show is going to be good, but you guys (whoever are against Sanjay and Craig so much they have to make drawings just to beat them up) are taking it a little too far. All of this comes because of trailers, not the real episodes. Plus, do you think that these people even know about Adventure Time and Regular Show? Think about it for a second. Can you see what they do? I don't think so. Unless you know someone from this show that knows about it and copies it, then it would make more sense. Please stop it with those silly beat up drawings, because you can just ignore it and move on.The Anti-Sanjay and Craig Group2 years ago in Personal More Like This
EDIT: If you still hate Sanjay and Craig for being a ripoff, I've reported thurop about this a here's what he says:
Aheheheh... when Regular show came out people said it was a ripoff of Adventure Time. And that Adventure Time was a ripoff of Flapjac
Another Coward Bans Me. Boohoo.Hey SonicClone, you think that by banning me from your page, you can keep me from writing critiques on your art. Wrong. I can still write them from my journal. Count on being featured again in a future issue of "How NOT To Draw". These drawings you've done? Not a 'style. Nope. They are poorly-drawn characters that look like sacks of goo. Learning on your own is fine, but for Pete's sake try to follow some advice people give you - it'll help in improving your art and make you look more mature.Another Coward Bans Me. Anyhoo, for the rest of you guys and gals reading this, I do like getting positive comments, but I like critiques even more. Comments like 'cool' or 'nice' aren't as helpful as a comment pointing out something that needs fixing. Even professional artists need critiques, because we all are capable of laziness as we improve. And I think we never really stop improving in whatever we do, so long as we practice.

Especially after seeing how many people complained that I paired Bia up with another guy, like they can't picture the two now ex-lovers with different people.
It's just like celebrety couples, nobody should care about it if they split up, or anything extreme.
They are just fictional characters, and you shouldn't make a fuss about them breaking up! I've seen other deviants split up their OCxOC/CanonxOC couples and pair them up with somebody else, and I don't see a lot of their watchers crying about their break-ups."

Greetings internet. A majority of you know :icontompreston: Tom Preston/Andrew Dobson as a notoriously obstinate and degenerative artist who likes to argue irrational views and give toxic advice to teenagers on Deviant Art. Back in The Great Giraffe Holocaust of '13 we took note of how he would ask for commissions, then spend hours writing journals and answering comments and possibly erasing invisible giraffes. We told him he should work on his commissions more, and he retorted that we weren't 'his boss' because we hadn't commissioned him.
It's impossible to prove whether or not the secret eraser is himself, his fans, or both, but we could prove he wasn't actually working on commissions. Myself, :IconEvilTomP:, :IconRabbitMaskedMan:, and a few other unhealthily obsessed EDiots devised a plan to pool our money together for a commission. None of us wanted to shell out a full 45 dollars for a

But you know what irritates me to no end?
Real person shipping.
I'm sorry, but real person shipping crosses the line.
There are people out there, with real feelings and thoughts.
I'm gonna quote :iconryoko368: from her “Not His Daughter" fanfiction review (which can be found on YouTube).
“You don't write fanfics about real people. And you wanna know why you don't write fanfics about real people? Because it is WRONG!"
Plus, she did bring up a good point in her video. The person you're writing about can stumble across your story. And they may not find it amusing.
You can act like your fanfic is a Lego brick lost in a toy box all you want, but remember, the internet works in unpredictable ways.

First of All, I DONT hate Ellen. I really dont, tbh. I just hate her Mary Sue OCs. I never planned ANY hate towards her. I just think she needs work on her OCs, thats all. But when I try to give her helpful advice, she flags me as spam. Then I do what any other sane person would do to a Mary Sue. Make fun of it. No hate towards Ellen herself, just her OC. I think her Ideas are interesting and have potential, but she just needs to work on it a little bit better. So I am sorry if I ever came off like I was a soulless and heartless demon spawn or something to you, :iconSon-Of-The-Jungle:.
I wouldnt say I was a fan of her, but I still have my respect limits. I just want to help her make her OCs even better than they were before. So I am sorry for coming off harsh. I just REALLY hate Mary Sues. And one thing I can just disagree with her just a tiny bit is her

I had seen his comics on the front page nearly every day and didn't think much of them, however after he wrote A Harsh Lesson I began to critique his work. Partially because I wanted to see if he'd practice what he preached (he doesn't) but mostly because he has the ear of many young artists and is sending them many bad messages. Over time critiquing him became an exercise for myself on the nature of comic making, and I got into interesting conversations with various people in the course of posting them.
I stuck to mostly his long-form comic work, and stuck mostly to critiquing writing and occasionally the art.
It came to a point where he seeme

Next, select a character from a completely unrelated cartoon series or other movie, etc.
Then, take more characters from unrelated series or movie.
Next, add ( insert cartoon character's name ) Adventures of ( insert movie here ) to the title.
Finally, look up a poster of the movie you chose, badly paste pictures of the 'guest stars' into the movie, post the picture on dA, open Windows Movie Maker and get to work on your masterpiece!
Let's take... Yellow Submarine.
Now let's take... hmmm.... Littlefoot.
Now let's take Simba, Timon and Pumbaa, Ash and Pikachu, the Simpsons, and the vultures from The Jungle Book.
Let's just add Littlefoot's Adventures of Yellow Submarine into the title.
Bingo bango, you just made an adventure!
Have fun making your adventure.

How NOT To Draw: Sacks Of Goo - Part 1In this issue, we have a couple fun ones. I don't know their ages, but they draw like they're twelve or younger, for the most part. When posting art on this site, it's important that you do some studying on basics, as I've mentioned countless times. You must learn about basic shapes, proportions, foreshortening, perspective - lots of things - or your figures will end up looking like sacks of goo.How NOT To Draw: Sacks Of Goo - Part 12 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Here's our first artist: HouseOfFrancis
Now I'm not sure how old he is, like I said. He does, however, seem to not know how to draw properly or use the tools in MSPaint to their full potential. He also doesn't seem to know how to give his drawings structure.
In this one, for example, the wolf(or whatever it is) seems to have no skull, or a very soft one, as his spiky hair seems to cut into it. Even those who do heavily stylized art like cartoons with big noses will be mindful of structure, proportions and perspective. T

Succession is an interesting topic to me and is seen countless times throughout history, to uphold a bold undertaking to lead your people into a brave new age to live long and prosper hoping not to make the same mistakes your predecessors did. Alexander the Great, the Prince of Macedon had passed away leaving his kingdoms in the capable hands of his loyal generals unaware of the greed that would grow within each of their hearts. When Nobunaga's Ambition was cut short in 1582, two successors of his; Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Ieyasu Tokugawa had carved their own path to unite Japan as he would have wanted it, Ieyasu managed to win out against the Toyotomi's successors and seize control of the lands and the coveted title of Shogun.
