How NOT To Draw: Our Friend SonicClone:iconsonicclone:How NOT To Draw: Our Friend SonicClone1 year ago in Art Features More Like This
I think many of you have heard of SonicClone, who is known for drama and bad drawings. Those are quite a bad combination, but since this series is mainly about art and not about harassing people, we'll keep the drama bit about his refusal to listen to critiques.
SonicClone is nineteen years old, yet he draws like someone eight years his junior(at a minimum). When beginners and children draw, they often neglect fundamentals like structure and basic shapes. This leads to objects and characters that look like sacks of goo, which is not going to make a good picture.
Exhibit A: http://sonicclone.deviantart.com/art/Charlie-Brown-Thanksgiving-40th-416495489
Now, the Charlie Brown we all know and love certainly does not look like a real human boy, but Charles Schultz did know enough about the fundamentals of art(like structure) to make him and the other characters look believable. In this picture, it looks like SonicClone just drew the silhouettes and coloured them in. For exa

“Leadership: Answering the Call of Duty”
History has it’s fair share of heroes and leaders. Alexander the Great, the prince of Macedonia who marched into the unknown to prove the might of the Hellenic armies. Nobunaga Oda, a young man singled out as a fool who would later revolutionize the art of war and nearly unite all of Japan. And George Washington, America’s first president whose charisma and his love of freedom would unite the colonial states against their British oppressors. Unfortunately, I won’t be covering such historic figures... I’m gonna be talking about the short lived and shaky leadership roles of Eric ‘DisneyMaster’ Helgeson, his eventual successor and how the Anticorn Movement began and the turn of events that led up to its current state.
Without going into too much depth about him, Eric was a fan of the s

i most be honest, i watch it only one time a regular show, so i dont know at all the characters and to be honest....dont keep to much of my interest, but i find a user, who made a love relation of mordecai and twilight from MLP, now....and is something weird i say this.... i think is not a bad idea, how ever, the user do a sooooooooooo big awful drama, im not sure why or how, but each and every pic i see of this cross over was mordecai worried and crying because discord kidnap twilight and mordecai was worried because discord gonna rape twilight.....yep..... imagine over and over this weird idea in each pic, and to be honest im not sure if the plot of this user was always the same, has far i see other pic when other character ( that kinda gumball machine ) scream to

Please understand that I'm taking a neutral position on this. My take on the picture linked above does not change the fact that I dislike SonicClone and think he needs a major attitude-adjustment.
I'm a bit iffy and neutral concerning this picture. Yes, it was badly-drawn and looks rather misogynist, but it is a role-reversal of a JC Penny ad where a woman is treating her husband like that. Maybe the question SonicClone was asking was, "Would they air a commercial if a man was treating his wife like this?".
Now don't get me wrong; I dislike SonicClone. I think he is quite immature and seriously needs to learn how to interact with others in real life and on the internet. I believe he has some kind of neurological condition which impedes his social skills - not good when combined with interbutt.
The thing is, I also think some other people are being immature, one of them is telling one of SonicClo

ThomasXTwilight RantI think I've found one of the worst pairings in any fandom. ThomasXTwilight is a pairing between, I kid you not, Twilight Sparkle and Thomas the tank engine... I'm at a loss for words. This is easilly one of the worst pairings ever, if not, THE worst. Seriously, how could this pairing possibly work? It makes less sense than Mordetwi, at least that pairing tried to provide depth on the pairing (and for the record, the Mordetwi group is meant for fans of a story written by the founder) and at least the shippers of that pairing are rational. As for the ThomasXTwilight shippers, they don't give any reason at all, they expect everyone to accept their twisted fantasies. The shippers of that pairing aren't even respectful, if you question the pairing, you'll be blocked instantly. Honestly, if there's a reason for this pairing, let me know.ThomasXTwilight Rant11 months ago in Personal More Like This

Norman Rockwell Tribute
Few artists have so definitively reflected the lives of average Americans as Norman Rockwell.
He began his lifetime dedication to being the “America’s Illustrator” as the 19-year-old art editor for Boys’ Life, the house publication of the Boy Scouts of America. A few years later he assumed his more famous position at The Saturday Evening Post, though he never b
deviantSHART Logo Contest! Win a Steam game! After returning from my summer job, I noticed my blog looked a little bleh... it needs a new logo. Plain text ain't gonna cover it.deviantSHART Logo Contest! Win a Steam game!9 months ago in Personal More Like This
1. It must be banner length.
2. It can't have anything copyrighted in it.
3. The more creative it is, the better.
4. NO MS PAINT. This needs to look professional.
And 5. It must have the tagline "Tracking the worst of deviantART since 2013" on it somewhere. This is replacing the text at the top so it must include the name too.
The winner will not only have their submission permanently placed on the blog, they will also receive Contraption Maker, a Steam game made by the creators of The Incredible Machine. If you don't have a Steam account, go ahead and get one; its completely free!
The deadline is August 25th so that'll give you plenty of time.

Because damn, they're all pretty hot for me according to those quizzes I've been taking :3 :3 :3
I don't know who any of them are but it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to hear how much they lust after me in my quiz results!
Also I have decided I look like Aurora from sleeping beauty. This is because we are both blonde, fair skinned, female, human, and we both breathe oxygen. That is enough to prove that she is my diznay luuk alyyke. I mean if one can claim they look like Rapunzel for similar reasons I can do the same.
Another thing, what is with people on here getting so butthurt when people give them drawing advice by the way? Like "OMG I DONT WANNA LEARN! I JUST DRAW FOR MYSELF SO I WILL DRAW LIKE A LITTLE KIDDIE FOREVER!"
You put it on DA, therefore you are putting it up to be viewed...hence not drawing purely for yourself. You put it online for people to see and peop

Word of Advice...The 'flag as spam' option is for reporting crapfloods and stuff - not for hiding nice, gentle critiques. When you flag critiques, it makes you look like a jerk and a pussy. Hiding them isn't much better, but at least it's not as childish as flagging them as spam. Admins can read comments that are hidden and flagged as spam, so they aren't gonna be fooled. You keep on doing this, and things are only gonna get worse. I wonder if you're gonna ban me next... that would be quite a nice little badge!Word of Advice...2 years ago in Personal More Like This
About recent national eventsThose that personify places, mainly states and cities. Please, PLEASE, do not submit or make art of the recent tragedy in Boston. It's tasteless, rude, and insensitive to the real people that this happened too. People are dead, people are injured; don't use such a tragedy as bases for tribute art for personifications. It's just wrong and too soon. Thank you.About recent national events2 years ago in Personal More Like This

First off I'll quote the message in case it gets deleted:
"Do you guys really think I'm THAT ugly (and don't lie) ? [link]
Like I said, making one someone look ugly won't make you prettier than that person really is (in and out)
If :iconKartilla-Fraph: and :iconDoktorShnitzel: think that I'm the ugliest woman on the planet, than why don't they show their watchers their pictures of what they really look like (and no submitting fake pictures of celebraties and claiming that's what they really look like)?
Even if they really look better than me, they are still the ugliest people I've seen for stooping so low to make themselves look good, by making others look bad!
As for those who think that I lost sight of reality and living in denial;
I haven't lost track of the real world, I'm still struggling to find a job, but I can't get one right now until I pass the Hearing when I

Students and teachers, doctors and patients, the UN and member states—no matter how different the backgrounds are, no matter the gap in experience or who's leading the conversation, it's important for communication to succeed. And the only way to do that is by making sure there's always room for a dialogue.
Dialogue: two sides having a conversation together.
Based on the literature community chat we had not too long ago, critique seems to be desirable. This blog is a response to the fact that a number of people mentioned dissatisfaction with a) how much critique they're getting, and/or b) responses to critiques they're providing.
This is about critiquing people you don't know, and who didn't request a Serious Business Full-Length Critique.

How NOT To Draw: Act Your Age - Part 1Not everyone acts their age, and I have quite a few examples. How NOT To Draw: Act Your Age - Part 12 years ago in Art Features More Like This
First off, the babyfurs. There's nothing wrong with having a fetish, and animals wearing diapers can look very cute. However, the line needs to be drawn somewhere. Many of the babyfurs and even adult babies who aren't furries will draw their characters not just wearing diapers, but SPOILED diapers. Honestly, pictures like that belong in a private gallery. Even people looking for art that is not suitable for children most-likely do NOT want to see some grown man, woman, lion, tiger or whatever in a poopy diaper while searching for a painting of a hot naked adult woman. I know the old 'if you don't like it don't look at it' bit, but I've been involved somewhat in the BDSM/fetish scene. In BDSM, those involved tend to have this rule to not involve anyone in their fetishes or play without their consent. That includes no exhibitionism, because traipsing around in public wearing baby clothes or other fetish gear(except maybe at a

I think most of you already know this, but for those who don't, I'll refresh your memory...
The Lion King is my favorite movie of all time.
I know that sounds weird coming from me, considering all the crazy shit I draw. While I go on and on about the films of Ralph Bakshi and any animated shlock aimed towards adults, Disney was my first exposure to animation and inspired me to do what I do today. And it's so shocking to find out that the film that blows my mind every time I see it is turning 20 years old tomorrow, on Father's Day of all days (which is sort of a fitting day, given the father/son relationship shown in the film).
Sadly, I didn't have time to draw a tribute picture, due to my busy schedule. So I'll just talk about how much the movie means to me. Not from a snobby animation critic's point of view, just from a nostalgic point of view and how much it shaped me over the yea

I'm calling you out on your bullshit.
I would gladly note this to you instead of posting a journal, given the chance, but I can't. Seeing as you blocked me for giving you an honest critique on your artwork. I suppose it doesn't matter though; either way, you can't hide what I want to say.
If you wanna say something about someone else, here's a tip. Grow a pair of fucking balls and unblock them to say it to their face. Don't use an alternate account (we all know you and RookAgainstTrolls are one and the same) to try to get their friends to stay away from them. It makes you look more pathetic than you already do.
You think you're some kind of tough girl who can tell people who they should or shouldn't be friends with? Who the fuck do you think you are? It's none of your goddamn business who anyone chooses to be friends with.
And if you should happen to come across
Constructive criticism for Mr. EnterI personally feel that Mr. Enter's reviews could be much better than they currently are now. Here're some points that I feel he should improve on.Constructive criticism for Mr. Enter8 months ago in Personal More Like This
1. Don't refer to your childhood constantly.
In his first TTG! review, a bulk of it consisted of him making constant comparisons to the original and, or course, referring to his childhood. Arguements like that show a severe amount of bias. TTG! was meant to be aired on its own merit with no connection to the original. I'm not saying that TTG! comes close to being watchable, but by constantly comparing it to the original, it wouldn't look good since it has been done to death by other reviewers.
2. Move on from G1-3 MLP and Breadwinners.
We get that you hate those shows, you don't need to review/refer to them constantly, especially since your hate for the former may come from your love of MLP:FiM, and we know that Breadwinners is awful, however, by constantly bringing it up, your viewers may be curious enough to watch Breadwinner
