The dreaded cappuccino foam strikes again.

I did some drawings based on "Sweet and Elite" this week to pass the time while I continue working on the next comic for Luna and Celestia. For those who don't follow me on tumblr I finished the 2nd the other day and I'll be uploading it here shortly

I was actually a bit surprised that Rarity got away with not working on Twilight's b-day dress when I first saw "Sweet and Elite" . She approved so that's all that matters. Plus, I can't argue with Twilight on simplicity and practicality, though Rarity's original design still looks interesting enough to draw just for kicks.

Well here they are my 6 favorite BG ponies ^^ I said it before but Flitter and Cloud Chaser are my top fav with Daring Do next up, but I had fun drawing all of them- Vinyl Scratch and Rose in particular.

Someone on tumblr asked me whether or not I was going to draw other ponies like the princesses, and the answer is yes. I'm definitely looking forward next time especially with Luna.

And how much more of this can Octavia take?

Well looks like I ended up finishing this first. I was going to leave it at an early blocking stage and go back to my model sheet for Ari but I couldn't help but see this through by the end of the day. Ha I'm so single minded xD

So human lineup of the mane six. I have been influenced by what's already out there especially with the clothes. Generic and simplistic, but even so I feel it's fitting for them as cartoon character designs anyway. My real goal was just to keep their mane-styles and colors intact.

I do like the idea of Rainbow Dash being the shorty in the group since her spunky personality more than makes up for it. Rarity's the tallest and maybe oldest with Fluttershy being 2nd tallest.
