Wanted to do a Scyther for a long time now but never had the endurance because the whole "balance thing" drove me insane... With some wire-construction it finally worked :)
Took me around 40 hours :/
Size: 4.5cm till the head, 6.5cm with the wingtip. (1.77 / 2.56 inch)

Steelix: "If i eat this, I won't have to be inside anymore"

I've built the Steelix papercraft from Paperpokes using some stones inside the base. I love the pose, but was very tough to built.

After that, I painted it with metallic grey and many coats of varnish. last, I built the rock/sand terrain base.

Steelix and pokeball is property of Nintendo.

Ok and this is a clay figure of KRAID the giant boss from metroid :iconkritkenplz:
This guy can be quite a challenge to defeat, he shoots a lot of things to you and it's quite difficult to damage him, but he doesn't have much hp that can be an advantage :O
Many people just know him because he appeared in a stage in smash bros melee, the lava stage, moving the battlefield with his claws.
Ok hope you like it this was a must have in my collection, and many people really wanted me to sculp him. hope to see some of him in the next metroid.
Sculped in clay, painted with acrilycs and 3 days of work.
Kraid like never seen before, enjoy :D

Yeah this is the one after I had added the seeds, and had just finished sculpting the tail. Actually I had done the seeds and baked, this was just the tail. I painted the whole tail with fimo deco gel to add strength and hopefully flexibility. I let it soak in for a day before I actually baked it. That and I was busy with my life. Totally intentional though XD

Ok, this is a Dark Samus plasticide figure.
I made this one before this one [link]
But it really did´t convinced me and I did´t know if upload it but finally I´ve decided to upload it.
This one was quite dificult because her colors were changing constantly.
But in september I'll look foward to give another try with this one.

After a month of hard work, Here is my finished Xenomorph sculpture. :dummy:

At the start of the year a few friends were getting hyped up about the new aliens game that was to be released. I had never seen any films from the Aliens series at that point. They made me sit down and watch atleast the first two films. Safe to say, They were awesome! I quickly fell in love with the gribbly wee beasties. :la:

So my sculpture is based on 'The Raven' from said game, Aliens: Colonial Marines - Which was a horribly buggy game. (No pun intended) But I did really enjoy playing through the campaign and multiplayer with friends. :) - As you can see from the statue in bottom image. I used that as my reference.

-

It stands about 15cm tall from feet to tail. It was painted with acrylic paint and finished with a clear varnish.
Sculpted with Super Sculpey, Sculpey Firm and Apoxie Sculpt over a wire/foil armature
