HollowWalking lonely on the path of life, the dark shadow always at my side.
See the light, but as I walk it gets further away.
You are golden, but I'm scared to touch you incase you break like glass.
Why do I feel alone in a room full of strangers, why do I feel like the only one to walk this earth?
Inside my heart feels heavy, but my body feels hollow, one breeze and I might break.
I feel lost, I feel alone but yet I know you are there.
Please always be there.
Lost feelingsIt's crazy the way I felt for you,Lost feelings2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Crazy how I truly believed that I loved you right down to the core.
But now I see you, and something's not right, I've lost all feeling.
Thoughts of you don't seem to keep me up all night.
I told my self you have to be the one, all the moments we shared how ever small, they used to keep me dreaming that you were the prince I would meet at the fairytale ball.
But now know those feelings of wonder and love, have seemed to disappear to the heavens above.
And I feel remorse for those feelings I had, the ones that made my skin tingle and hair stand on end.
And those missed heart beats when you said my name, I truly fear that they shall not come again.
What's wrong with me? I thought I'd always feel that way.
But now I'm numb my life feels only grey.

My note books filled with your name,
but I know you'll never feel the same.
But I still wish, and dream and hope,
that you'll be mine soon enough, but I seem to be fending my way up a slippery slope.
But I'm fooling no one not even myself,
because I know we will never be saying "in sickness and in health"
I guess I'll never get to know if we were ment to be, because she came along and clouded your view,
and you will remain unaware because you never knew,
That the love I have was ment for you.

And set right any wrongs that you have caused others?
Do you ever dream that you can change your fate,
For the better?
More than you can ever imagine.
Do you ever wonder what other people are thinking,
So that you can know your friends from your foes?
Do you ever think about who truly loves you,
And who wants to slip a knife into your back?
Every single day.
Do you ever root for the underdog,
Knowing that their struggle is doomed to fail?
Do you ever hope that the tyranny that surrounds you,
Will crumble into ruin?
I think that you know the answer.
Do you ever wish?
Even though it's all in vain?
ChampionAs a child he watched, his heroes bask in glory,Champion2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Hoping that one day that would be his story.
All day and all night he worked himself to be the best,
Put his passion to the test.
Then one day he got a break,
A unknown fighter, against a flake.
With the dodge of a punch and the flick of the hand,
For the first time he was a winning man.
Notcied by a guy who looked like a bum,
Told he would train him, to be the one.
With the nod of a head and a shake of the hand,
Could there be a champion in this young man?
Blood, sweat and tears went hand in hand,
With new found titles, 'he's our man!'
He rose higher and higher on his winning streak,
But to the glitz and glamour he became weak.
Lost in the glory that was his own,
feeling high on top of his throne.
But into the scene came a new kid in town,
Who took him on, and brought him down.
Down and out he had lost his fame,
So he turned to a bottle with no name.
And in a drunken rage he let rip on the town,
Caused him a lock up in old downtow
A name less soulPlain and quiet, a girl with no name.A name less soul2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Who was dying on the inside, but showed no outer pain.
She wasn't like the rest, she could never be.
She felt unloved, she was never called pretty.
She tried to be what she hated the most,
So maybe someone would show her some love.
Forgotten, rejected, and on her own,
Loathed those who had cut her to the bone.
Each night her pillow was filled with tears,
Each day her shoulders carried all her fears.
Alone she sat, ridiculed by all,
Her heart was heavy, she felt so small.
Burnt out and broken, She couldn't take no more,
Lost with out feeling, her wounds were sore.
Until one day, the light did shine,
and on that day she did feel fine.
She stood up and found her voice,
her name, and with her life she had a choice.
And if you look, and you will see,
that plain, quiet girl, that would be me.

Under a lace and feather cover is were she hides.
Long black hair, that falls gentlely down her back like a waterfall, coressting her pale white skin.
Her deep brown eyes outlined heavily with glitter, and gold and toped wih thick black mascara, like heavy black feathers they flutter over her eyes. The same eyes that could lead a man to there demise with just a wink.
And under this perfect shell, a body that some would die for, a body that kills some, but yet it hides a broken soul of a lost child.
A child that has seen so much, but yet has felt so little, and now the child is lost forever and now all that is left is this monster with the rouge red lips.
Summer how I love youSeasons come and go but there is nothing better than the hot weather.Summer how I love you3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Where the out doors is where I preside, water balloons from which no one can hide.
A tonne of suncream, which never works, burned to the core and boy it hurts.
But no one cares when your in the sun, having fun, with the people you love.
Long runs down the beach, dip your toes in the ice cold sea.
Feeling free and happy, I couldn't ask for more.
Picnics at the shore line, with sand in your socks, no care in the world you have when you climb over the sand dunes and the rocks.
Summer is the time made for children every where,(even the ones at heart) when you can let down your hair, relax and have fun.
So just enjoy your time in the sun.

Grinning as I scream in pain
And laughing as I gasp for air.
But they won't reach their goal.
"Daddy, you'll be back, won't you?"
Her words still echo in my head,
A piece of happiness I keep within.
"Of course, my angel. Sooner than you'd think."
Darkness embraces my consciousness,
And every breath becomes a struggle,
But still I hear her worried voice.
"Promise?" she asks. "Promise." I answer.
And as I lie here on the floor,
Beaten, bloody, and alone,
I feel my heart beating in my chest,
Fighting to fulfill my promise.
"But how can you know?" she calls
As I'm halfway out the door.
I smile as I bend down to hug her.
"for you I'll be invincible."
And though my world is made of pain,
And my blood seems caught on fire,
I draw one breath after another,
And know that I'll return alive.

I would be lying if I said that I didn't
Think of you every time I close my eyes,
That my mind doesn't wander to thoughts
Of you whenever I'm lonely,
That I don't whisper your name
While I sleep.
Truth be told, I am inevitably in love with you.
In a way that makes my heart skip a beat every time
I see you smile, every time I hear you laugh.
It's the fact that I still get butterflies whenever
You lightly whisper my name in my ear
That lets me know we are something more.
Nothing has ever seemed so comforting than
The feeling of your arms wrapped around my waist.
I smile up to you as we share a brief connection of
Soft lips and grazing teeth that makes me swoon.
Believe me when I say that I think of you
Every time I close my eyes,
That my mind always wanders to thoughts
Of you when I'm lonely,
That I whisper your name while I sleep.
Believe me when I say that I love you,
That there's nowhere I'd rather be
Than with you.
Doomed LoveIf a demon heard an angel sing from above,Doomed Love3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
And an angel and a demon fell in love,
Once they answer to passion's call,
Does the demon rise or the angel fall?
And though they may love in the truest way,
Where in heaven, hell or Earth could they stay?
Hunted by those who can't understand and those who refuse
And soon, so soon, they would have to choose
Between loving together, or saving each other's souls
And be left with a grief that could not be consoled.
Forever they would wander, longing for the other's embrace,
And wanting nothing more than to see their lover's face.
Their doomed love would destroy them, it would tear them apart
And they would slowly bleed to death
from broken hearts.

Mystery KeyThere lies a key within the center,Mystery Key3 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Tucked within the folds of one's soul;
It completes the heart, an answer
To the lock which keeps one whole.
It is a mystery to many,
A conundrum to all who think it wise
To unlock the door and window,
To see what could lie
Behind the heart and soul and mind,
Life itself contained in this key;
No one knows what one might find,
What could come, or what could be
If the gates are unlocked
And the brass key is turned.
It is a mystery, the way of life,
A surprise too many are impatient to learn
In their natural time, a time already planned
By One Who knew far better than they
That life is a mystery with no instructions
And a key would only ruin the play-
For the mystery is what keeps one whole
In a world cruel and deceiving yet wonderful-
Key in one's mind and heart and soul.

Lovely AnneI once met a girl named AnneLovely Anne2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
and what a lovely girl was she.
She sat in corners and talked
and talked when no one listened.
While lovely Anne was so lovely
no one went near lovely Anne
and her never-ending talking.
Lovely Anne with black hair
and dark skin. Never listened
to the voice of society.
Lovely Anne talked of a world
so unlike our own.
No one went near her,
but everyone listened
to the thoughts of a wonderful world.
Lovely Anne lived in a world
where the clocks struck thirteen
where everyone loved
where everyone smiled
and tears were never shed.
The walls and floors
objects and papers
that she talked to day and night
held to her words
and wished for her world.
Poor Lovely Anne had no friends.
But lived in a world that was entirely her own.
Lovely Anne who never left her world
and thought reality was imaginary.

If I could bring down the moon for you
It'd be at your doorstep in a second
If I could feel love for you
I'd return the feelings you so beckoned
If I could be with you forever
Just so your life could be a little better,
I would try to make you smile
Just so you could be happy with me for a while
I would kiss you gently to sleep
And wipe your tears whenever you'd weep
I would wish for you to love me forever
Our love no one could ever sever
But I just stood.
I stood watching as you broke down
Feeling useless and vain
I stood as you cried at my feet
Feeling discomfort in your pain
I stood, pondering on walking away
Leaving nothing but ashes to remain
...Come to think of it, I should.
I should have not lost my muse
I should have said what i felt
I should have told you I loved you
And everything else that in my heart dwelt
I should have told you the saddest part of it all,
Was that my heart

She laughs at the tickle of cloth against skin and cries at the feel of oxygen pumping through her veins. 'This is freedom' she thinks and knows she could never go back. But like the deer in the hunt the dogs are clever, they wont let her go easily. As she runs she becomes aware that they are herding her. She panics.
