Hi everyone... Just want to air my feelings on the way all this fractal stuff is being promoted... I know many of you will not like what I have to say but then again some of you will agree with me.
First of all I congratulate Light on tackling a job far better than anyone else has ever done before. There are no doubts there at all.
Secondly I thanks ALL the other contributors to the "Fractal Movement", which is just what it is becoming... However what about trying to enlighten the rest of the world to the beauty of fractals? Has anyone got any ideas as to how we can go about doing that? I know one or two of you have had great success in doing this and we can learn from them and their experiences, good and not so good... Congratulations to Rockgem and all the others who have worked so very hard to actually get some recognition...

Although the tutorials are fantastic and can be found for almost any program an artist could use, it's not the best! Even though it's the reason I found DA!!
The gradient packs while so very nice and filled with all the gradients anyone could ever hope to use still isn't the best resource I've found on DA!
The parameter packs while filled with some of the best fractals for tweaking are fantastic and most new fractal artists would be lost without them, they aren't the best resource either!!
The plug-ins make life so very nice for those who do this on a daily basis and give us something different to explore and experiment with, but alas it's not the greatest resource either!!
The scripts also make tweaking and exploring new things very nice and give us a quick and easy way to the start of another tweaking expedition!! But again, it's not the best either!!!

Major changes where made to the fractal flames generator T.I.N.A.::
- larger and faster realtime preview
- new "cloverleaf_wf" and "cannabiscurve_wf" variations
- new "bubbles" random flame generator
- new "distribute colors" and "randomize colors" functions
- use reduced resolution while dragging flames with the mouse
- new "Swap RGB" transform option for gradients
- tuned the random gradient generator to produce more "interesting" colors
- faster and larger preview in the flame file dialog
- fixed a problem with file dialogs and java 7
- automatically select 1st transform after activation a flame from the thumbnail ribbon
- don't automatically deactivate triangle mode after rendering the preview image in normal quality
- removed background color in HDR renderer
- removed the never finished "grab palette" function
- additional "filled" parameter for the rose_wf variation
- removed some unnecessary refreshs

Have you heard about .....Several weeks ago, in my daily effort to view all the daily submissions from the many Groups and individuals I watch, I started to notice more and more frequently that some of the Fractals I was viewing were being created using this new program. First it was just a few a day, then suddenly I was seeing dozens of Flames being created with JWildFire! Today is the 4th Advent, in not even 6 (for some people 7) days is Christmas Eve. Because I won't be at home from Christmas until the 29th or even 30th of December I decided to put up a nice Feature of Christmas Art. Today I had my Mum, her boyfriend and his father over for dinner. We had fried trout filets, boiled potatoes and cucumber sald and a nice apple-vanilla-cinnamon junket as Dessert. I wanted to do something for them - they always support me so much and the father of my mum's boyfriend invites us for dinner so often and he just won't let me pay when we go to a restaurant. So yeah - this is the only chance I have to invite all of them for dinner...and it was so nice even though a lot of work - I guess I will do it again
